Neither big box retailer could tell me much about their tubs except for price and obvious things such as 1yr warranty but they didn't know how that worked or the fine print details, or anything about their service after install etc. Notable was that they did disclose that they "neatly leave the packaging / trash for the consumer to discard"- What?! Then remembered The Place in Medina, Ohio. So glad I went this route. Rex Brown was very knowledgeable, he answered All of my questions and concerns (that no one else could and other info. that I couldn't get online). The Place has a large inventory of Hot tubs. Like most stores, big box or small retailers they have a limited amount of Plug n Play units but more than most that I went to, and they carry the BEST plug n play model on the market: The Dream Maker and at an affordable price too. The difference with The Place and Big box stores, is that The Place knows their products and stand behind them! It is a family-owned company-(buy local). They have a repair shop on sight, their own repair guys/employees (unlike big box- once you get it home - after warranty-it's on you to get it fixed). The Place also carries any accessories, like filters and chemicals that you may need for your hot tub. The transaction was GREAT from start to finish, (no gimmicks, no delays, no bait and switch). The delivery and set up was quick and very professional; they left no trace of packaging material aside from my beautiful hot tub you would never know they were there! I couldn't be happier- I highly recommend Rex Brown and The Place in Medina Oh.

We started working with Robert Wilkovich in the Fall of 2022. He agreed to remove and replace the…read moreconcrete around my pool, including putting concrete under the pool steps, install new piping, repair the pool steel walls as necessary, install a salt system, install a new liner and a new winter cover. All of this was to be accomplished during the month of September, 2022. Since the vinyl liner and the winter cover were unique to my pool he required me to pay up front for those items a total around $7,000. Tearing out the concrete and replacing the lines happened quickly. Then there was supposedly a "concrete" shortage and we waited about 2 weeks for the concrete. The concrete was installed in early October, 2022. He told me several times he had the new liner and the new winter cover. It was now mid October and time to tear out the old liner, make wall repairs and install a new liner. The weather started getting cooler and we needed a few days of warm weather to complete the project and we especially needed warm weather to install the new vinyl liner. Short story the completion of the project was postponed until the Spring of 2023 however Robert told us we would be the first job in the Spring. We go to Florida in the Winter so I asked Robert to deliver the liner and winter cover and store them in my garage. I was always nervous that he did not have the merchandise. He agreed to deliver the products and then a couple days later suddenly he got Covid and could not deliver the products that we paid for. So we left for Florida. He did however agree to install the winter cover. That never happened. May, 2023 arrives and Robert had another pool job that had to be completed first but we would be next as soon a that pool was completed. Well Robert or his crew stopped by and did a little work and then disappeared for a week and this went on and on. We had hoped to be in the pool by Memorial Day. He then promised the rebuild would be completed by July 4th. Now a few days before July 4th he calls and informs me that he has to do more extensive work on one section of the pool wall and it would cost an additional around $5000 or so. He said he could not start the work for two weeks (mid July) but then he would have it completed by a date in late July. Robert then said I could sign a new contract with him or hire a new contractor. Well we hired a new contractor and Robert agreed to deliver the winter cover and to refund me for the liner saying he could use the liner for another customer. That is just baloney because no one else has a pool that is the exact size and configuration as my pool. Well he never delivered the new cover and never refunded me for the liner. We found a new honest contractor who completed the project in 2 weeks. We since hired an attorney and we prevailed in a lawsuit. Unfortunately, Robert has few resources and very little money in the bank so recovery has been a challenge. He has been tough to contact since he was in The Lorain County Jail for about 3 months from December, 2023 to February, 2024. So bottom line stay away from Robert Wilkovich, Rosemarie and Northern Ohio Pool and Spas. They are dishonest, they are crooks and both have checkered backgrounds.

I had already tried some so he came out to test. After checking all the voltages on circuit board he found that part of the board was bad. So he wired the circ pump in to be on all the time and the heater started working immediately. However a few hours later when spa reached set temp it gave me a flo error because circ pump was still running. So called back and he said he thought he could trick system into letting that pump run but instead it goes into safe mode thinking something is wrong. So I set up an appt after speaking with him he had a circuit board that will work with spa and installed and it has work great since. And I thought their service call fee was reasonable. Good company.
