Leon is the most helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly person at any Leslie's I've been to. I drive out of the way to come to his store because of him. I have two other stores that are closer to me, but I find him to be the best. Since I started taking care of my pool, he's been patient and informative. He doesn't just hand me the water testing readout, he'll explain if I have questions. He doesn't try to over sell you. He knows everything there is to know about pool water. Leon also has talked to me about pool equipment when there have been issues and he knows his stuff there, too. I just think he's the all around great customer service oriented nice guy that you want helping you out. If you've got a pool and have questions-go in person and talk to Leon. Your pool will thank you. read more

Good prices and great selection for pool supplies however I ordered a hot tub cover and paid almost $500 for it and they delivered a completely different size and color than I ordered and so far they are refusing to make it good read more

If you want exorbitant prices, this is the place for you. Liquid chlorine is about $30 for 2 gallons, versus $14 at Lowes and Home Depot and $11 at Walmart. Its the same product, same company. Muriatic acid, twice the price. Chlorine tabs are at least double the price, prices are high right now, but Leslie's just gouges. $200 for 35 pounds, Costco has 40 pounds for $180, and they were recently on sale for $150. Leslie's drove a lot of good pool companies out of business, they own the market now and they don't care what they charge. read more

I couldn't wait to come home and write my 1 star review. Today March 10, 2018, I went to this Thomas and Hayden store, as I have been getting my water tested here for years, way back when they were NPS. But today someone I don't recall seeing before, named Joshua who told me "We aren't doing water tests." I thought "....anymore? as a free service?" He said "Today, because it's raining." I thought he was KIDDING. I was sooooo shocked, and continued to stare at his face, waiting for him to say "I was just kidding." But, he stood his ground. I said I was going out of town for a while and just added almost a gallon of acid and some chlorine, and wanted to see where I was at before I left town. Joshua was VERY adamant about not testing my water and said, "We do not test water when it rains because then it will be inaccurate and we would be giving out false information and we don't give out false information here." I said it isn't even raining, and the ground everywhere is all dry, and I took the sample before a few drops came down hours ago. Joshua then said that if I collected the sample a few hours ago, then it is inaccurate anyways. When I said I wanted him to test the water regardless, I don't care how "inaccurate it is", he still refused but said "I CAN SELL YOU A TEST KIT AND YOU CAN TEST IT YOURSELF!" Boy, that REALLY made me mad, and I left and drove to my usual Leslie's store at Chaparral and Hayden in Safeway shopping center, and Gordon tested my water immediately, without question. I asked Gordon "if it was Corporate policy" that Leslie's not test water if it is raining, Gordon said "No." I told Gordon what happened at the Hayden and Thomas store and he burst out laughing and said it was so funny, cos he heard of people "saying stuff like that" (that they won't test water when it rains). He heard of pool stores putting a sign up "water test equipment broken". "He just doesn't wanna do it!", Gordon said. He said, laughing, "I gotta tell Mike (the other employee not working today) what you said, he'll get a kick outta that". Later I called the Chaparral store back and said to Gordon, "I forgot to tell you, after Joshua was so adamantly standing his ground and refusing to test my water, he said 'I CAN SELL YOU A TEST KIT AND YOU CAN DO IT YOURSELF !" "Thanks for making my day with that story", he said laughing, "It gets juicier and juicier. Mike will get a kick out of it". Boy, I don't think it is funny at all, I am still fuming with disbelief. read more

The manager Leon is awesome. So helpful and kind. This guy should be promoted to a corporate manager and teach others how management is done. read more

Manager Leon is the best. He has help me rebuild my Hayward pool cleaner multiple times. Also, I think he does his best to help me keep my pool expenses down, by not trying to push unnecessary chemicals for my pool. Their chlorine seems to be very good quality read more

This Leslie's neighborhood Pool Supply is one of the most helpful places I've ever experienced. Great customer service, very clean and organized. If Brad is available, go to him for all your pool related questions. We have trusted him with providing us with all the information needed in cleaning our pool. They even tell you if there is sell or a discount on items you may need and not try to out sell you on items you don't need. read more

I have been shopping at Leslie's on Thomas Rd for about 3 years. Brad the new store manager is by far the most knowledgable manager they have had here. He has went way above and beyond his duties to make sure I always get great service and the parts I always need are available. His knowledge is amazing and I would recommend anyone to come by and try him out. read more

I admit that I was already frustrated when I went into this Leslie's pool store. I needed a part for my pump. I had already been to 3 different stores that said it was in stock but didn't have it when I got there. I don't know how he did it but when I walked in to this store and said I need this part, Tom pulled it up from behind the counter and said, "This one?" I was dumbfounded, but in a good way. I told Tom what I had just gone through and we had a good laugh. Super friendly employee, clean store, good location. They have all my business for now on. read more

I wouldn't recommend Leslie's to my worst enemy. Explained my pool problem to them and they said a new capacitor would fix the problem. I purchased a capacitor and I still had the humming in my motor instead of starting. I tested the part and it showed to be bad. Now they will not replace it and even claim they don't even sell the part. I have the receipt but no replacement. My pool repair man is the one who tried to deal with them because I am in the hospital. When I get a chance I will try to resolve the problem but for now they are being totally useless. Wow! Probably the worst service I've had in forever. Took my spa filter in to buy a new one and the man behind the counter not only did not have what I needed in stock but was unwilling to do anything other than tell me he couldn't help me....I thought he was the professional, but I evidently just got someone who sells stuff. This store used to be a different pool supply place that always could identify this cartridge, and always had what we needed. Looks like it's time to find a new supply place. I would not recommend going in here. read more

I feel like they are very knowledgeable and helpful everytime I have had to come in the store it's very organized and the staff is very helpful I went in today looking to get stuff to clean algae out of my spa and the guy helped figure out what the problem was and led me the right products!!! Definitely recommend read more

Zach the store manager always seems to be working when I stop in. He is always extremely kind and patient when dealing with customers. He provides knowledgeable and informative responses to questions with a very friendly demeanor. I also feel that he has the customer's best interest at heart because he actively tries to find and price out the best deals or will give hints on when things go on sale. Initially I wanted to avoid this store because of the "chain" stigma and instead I used to visit some smaller local businesses however Zach's customer service oriented approach and their competitive pricing have changed my mind. This will now be my "go-to" pool store. Thanks Zach! read more

They're helpful when you're in the store but not when you show up 3 minutes after they close for a question. Yes I get that they were closed but the guy inside saw me and just ignored me. I just had a question read more

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had at a pool supply store. Zach in my opinion has absolutely no idea or care for the personal pool owner. I witnessed good custumer care to the pool guy ahead of me, but then it was my turn.... oh crap I would have left if any other store was open past 6pm. In my opinion leslies pool and Zach are a NO GO for personal pool markup price. read more

Leslie's Pool Supplies Pro - Joshua the Assistant Manager that gave me absolutely the worst customer service in my opinion. I felt he was very rude. - Hot Tub & Pool Near Me - Scottsdale, Arizona

I was very happy with my experience. Their prices are great! So helpful & knowledgeable. Great addition to our neighborhood.

I just have to say this pool company is awesome!!! Brad the manager is such a great example of what customer service IS!!! I had a bad experience with corsons pools and needed a new company. I walked in to Leslie's pools and knew i had found the right pool company! Brad explained to me about phosphates and has got my pool sparkling clean!! He is so awesome i explained i have a new pool pump and motor .showed him a picture of it and BAM , he put a download a pdf file on my cell phone, to show me step by step how to set times, how to clean the new cartridge pump!!! I mean this guy is so helpful!! I totally respect him ! He has won me as a customer from the first day i walked in! Way to go!! read more

We will NEVER go anywhere else for pool supplies and pool advice! We have been going to Leslies and spending hundreds of dollars to get our pool water cleared up, well to say the least, it didn't work. A friend recommended that we go to NPS, so we checked it out. The prices are unbeatable AND the employees are VERY VERY knowledgeable. The chemicals that were recommended by the employees cleared our pool up in 24 hours! We can now enjoy our pool for the rest of the summer! THANK YOU NPS!!!!!!! read more
