FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!…read more First of all, we did a lot of research on spas and spa dealers in the Metro-Plex, before we finally decided on Southern Leisure. (My husband is an engineer and I am an attorney, so, we research "projects" to the max!) We purchased a Marquis spa and Weber grill from Southern Leisure. Store Manager Garrett was very knowledgeable and helped us decide on the perfect spa and grill for us! The purchase, delivery, and installation of the spa went perfectly. Garrett and his team, including Josh, did everything they promised and on a very timely basis. We were also impressed with the professionalism of the team, as well as the detailed instructions on how to operate and maintain our beautiful spa. Everyone took all the time we asked for, to explain everything and never made us feel rushed. The spa is awesome and beautiful! After our nightly spa session, we both sleep so much better. We no longer awaken during the night and sleep peacefully until the morning. In addition, spa sessions are especially therapeutic after physical work-out sessions, to relax our muscles! And, we enjoy cooking on our new grill. Thanks to the Southern Leisure team for a fantastic experience!

Chronic Pain Review: Colby is by far one of the best salesman I have ever had the pleasure to work…read morewith. I have extreme chronic pain and health issues and we were interested in purchasing a hot tub as heat, massages and water therapy help so much! He listened to my health concerns, what I was hoping to get from it, showed me some lower cost options and then what he thought would be most beneficial for me. He then gave us a quote, we went home and got some quotes for the concert base (he gave us suggestions with that too and things to make sure we ask about) and he was available for all my questions. We went back in and make the purchase and a few weeks later we were able to go back in, actually get in the hottub and try all the jet packs. It took me longer than it should because I was trying to see how each effected my body but he was SO KIND and didn't rush us at all. DONT go anywhere else. Head straight in and ask for Cody. I will be referring everyone to him. Honestly the best. ** I will add to my review once delivered**

Petri Pools - Silver travertine

Petri Pools

I collected pool update bids from several companies and chose Petri based on their customer…read moreratings, competitive pricing, ability to start the project fairly quickly and the professionalism of Mike Rakes who did the estimate. Before Petri started the project Brennan, assigned as my project manager, stopped by to meet me and check out the pool. Like Mike, a professional guy with solid, knowledgeable answers to my questions. Project-wise we missed a few days due to rain/thunderstorms but things generally ran to plan and Brennan routinely kept me informed of progress, next steps, timing, issues, etc. A really professional guy and an outstanding service provider/project manager. The one "surprise" was a leak caused by a repair company's attempt at a fix ten years prior. It didn't show up on a pressure test and as it turned out I couldn't have reasonably expected Petri's plumbers to detect it. Long story short the prior company had clearly done a shoddy repair job which led to a faulty pressure test reading. The resulting leak became obvious after I'd paid Petri's second invoice and all concerned were confident all leaks had been detected, fixed, and paid for. Imo it's now obvious that the old botched repair job caused most of my pool issues since 2012. Brennan ensured the leak was repaired quickly and, given the circumstances, at a fair, reasonable price. Imo Petri, while not at fault, proactively and professionally managed this issue to quick resolution. The project wrapped up today and our pool looks great, we're very happy with the project and would gladly recommend Petri to anyone in the market for a pool update. These guys are professionals. Ray

Plays a mean game of dodgecall. I have had issues with this company since they resurfaced my pool…read more The plaster is now coming off in chunks. Looks like the bond was either not applied correctly, didn't get time to dry before the next layer was added or just poorly applied. I am not a pool professional, but I can now see the layers on the chunks of plaster off the bottom of my pool. I was unimpressed after about 6 months after the work was first completed. Trying to get a response after money was paid was impossible. May be good for pool cleaning, but I would NEVER invest in having them do another major pool job.

We were so grateful that the pump motor didn't burn out! My wife went by our former residence the following Monday and found the pool out of prime. I headed over and found the pool filter basket lid installed backward/upside down with "FRONT" facing the wrong way, and therefore it could not be tightened. I fixed the issue and got the pump back to prime and immediately called around, while my wife let the owner of the other company know about "yet another" of his employees' goofs. Pretty Pools had the most reasonable fees and have done an infinitely better job than the last company. We had zero issues with Pretty Pools maintaining our pool and the house just sold and the buyers have been referred them as well. Pretty Pools also does the chemicals service at our new place and I'm as pleased as can be. They also sent a tech (for a fee) to evaluate our pool heater. The information I received was invaluable and we will be using them to replace the heater. There are other companies in the area that also do great work, but charge quite a lot more and I'm not entirely sure they're worth it. Pretty Pools does a great job, communicates well and always returns calls/emails.

UPDATE: new pool service came out and said our DE pool filter needed to be cleaned. I informed him…read morethat had been done less than 2 months ago. An excellent way to spend a day relaxing by yourself or with a friend. The renovations are nice…read morealthough there are still some jets in the pools that don't work or the opposite, they blast out water to the point it almost drowns you! The indoor spaces are all really nice. I loved spending time going through all the sauna rooms & then taking a nap in the relaxation area upstairs when I got tired. The sushi place on the second floor was surprisingly good. FYI ramyun is the cheapest thing on the menu at the Korean place on the top floor & while it was good, it was clearly just instant ramyun that they charged $12 for. Next time I think I will just spring for something a little pricier. Couple of tips: It's both cheaper to go on weekdays & much less crowded. I would bring a change of clothes to wear under your robe. That way if you decide to go to the pool first, you can change out of your swimsuit to do saunas later. (Although plenty of folks just wear their swimsuit to the sauna!) Some folks say to bring a towel, but know they do provide full size towels & you can get fresh ones as needed in the locker room. If you plan to be there all day, I also recommend bringing a charger!

I NEVER expected a relaxing spa day to end with me crying in public and then crying again in my…read morecar. Today at Spa Castle, a woman was recording videos throughout the second floor. I realized I was being included in her recording and asked her to please stop because I did NOT consent to being filmed. Instead of simply respecting my request, she told me that I had an "attitude problem." She then went to the concierge and apparently received permission from a staff member to continue recording. She actually came BACK to where I was, started recording me again, told me, "I can keep recording," and called me "Karen." At that point, this no longer felt like someone casually taking a video at a spa. I felt deliberately targeted and humiliated. She also made a point of telling me that she gets "millions of views." I honestly don't care whether someone has 10 views or 10 million. Being popular on social media does not make another paying guest's discomfort irrelevant. What makes this experience especially disappointing is Spa Castle's response. I spoke with management and was told they could not make her delete the video. I understand that management may have limitations regarding someone's personal phone, but I cannot understand why a guest who had already been told directly that I did not want to be recorded was apparently allowed to return and continue filming and confronting me. I paid to come to a SPA--to relax and feel comfortable. Instead, I felt exposed, embarrassed, and completely unsupported. I was so overwhelmed by the entire interaction that I cried there, and then sat in my car afterward crying again. I can't remember the last time a business experience made me feel this humiliated. Spa Castle seriously needs a clear filming policy. There is a huge difference between taking a photo or video of yourself and deliberately continuing to record another guest after that person has specifically asked you to stop. People come to a spa expecting some level of comfort and relaxation. Nobody should have to wonder whether they're going to become unwilling content for somebody else's social media account. I'm incredibly disappointed with how this was handled.

From our very first meeting, their team truly listened to what I wanted and offered thoughtful feedback and suggestions without ever feeling pushy. They were respectful of our budget while still finding ways to incorporate every feature we hoped to include in the design. The build process was incredibly efficient without sacrificing quality. Aside from a few brief pauses for inspections, there was consistent progress with crews working almost every day. Even more impressive, Mirage Pools continued to follow through on every item on the punch list--down to the smallest detail--well after final payment was made. Throughout the entire process, they were responsive, helpful, and proactive in addressing any questions or concerns. Their professionalism and commitment to excellence truly set them apart. I would highly recommend Mirage Custom Pools to anyone looking to build a pool or enhance their backyard space.

Mirage claims to have a 1-year craftmanship warranty for this type of work, but I quickly realized that no such warranty existed. After six months the pavers are sinking again, and the area looks worse than before. After talking to Mason and showing him and his crew the issue, they were no help and just claimed that this issue did not fall under a warranty claim and was caused by ground movement. Mirage does not stand behind their work and used ground movement as an excuse. Overall, my experience was horrible, a waste of money, and I would not recommend Mirage for any type of paver work.
