We feel incredibly lucky that we happened to meet Japi as he was leaving our neighbor's pool one…read moreday -- it was honestly the best stroke of luck for our home. From day one, he has treated our pool with the same care and pride as if it were his own, and we are beyond thankful for his service. Every single week, he sends a detailed email outlining exactly what he completed, the status of our chemical levels, whether anything was added, and even how long we should wait before swimming. He also includes a picture of our pool after he's finished, which always gives us such peace of mind. It's rare these days to find someone who is not only so thorough, but who genuinely wants you to feel informed and confident about the care your pool is receiving. Our pool has never looked better, but more importantly, we trust Japi completely. His consistency, kindness, and dedication mean so much to us, and it shows in every visit. If you're looking for someone who will take care of your pool with honesty, heart, and true professionalism, we cannot recommend Japi and GP&A Pool Services enough. They've been an absolute blessing to us.

Unfortunately, that was not our experience. We did the "Green-to-Clean ($800)". It took SIX weeks. We had to repeatedly follow up because they would go ~2 weeks without showing up or communicating. When we asked, we were told there was an emergency situation, we tried to be understanding, but there was no proactive communication on their end. We decided weekly service ($250/month). After the initial clean, we signed up for weekly maintenance. Within 24-48 hours of each visit, chlorine levels would drop back to 0 ppm. GP&A's explanation was that our pool system was outdated and needed to be replaced. However, we had two separate pool inspections done when we purchased the home, plus 3-4 other pool companies assess the equipment, none of them flagged the system (installed in 2017) as a problem requiring replacement. Upsell attempts: GP&A quoted us a full system replacement (under $6,000) and then a filter replacement (~$2,200) before they said they could continue service. We decided to move on to another provider. End of service: We asked if they could continue maintaining the pool through the end of the month. Their last visit was six days before the final day of the month (image attached). The pool was visibly green and in poor condition by end of month (again they serviced it 6 days ago and it is this green; not adding enough chlorine). When we brought this up, they responded that the condition was "consistent with the unresolved filtration issue for which repairs were recommended", essentially placing responsibility on us for not purchasing their repair package. We were looking for a long-term, trustworthy pool service company. What we experienced was poor communication, inconsistent results, and recommendations that no other company has supported. I cannot recommend GP&A based on our experience.

I never received the email so I called them back and they apologized and sent the email out. After waiting almost an hour the day of our appointment and nobody showing up, I called them to make sure someone was coming. They ended up coming but were not prepared for the appointment. There was no point in them stopping by. He left saying he didn't have the dive equipment (we discussed this over the phone that they would have to dive to detect the leak) that he would check the weather and get back to me. It has now been over 3 weeks and I have yet to hear from them. The weather has been warm and sunny with zero excuses. Extremely disappointed in the lack of communication and professionalism. They have wasted so much of my time.

I had our pool mastic done by No worries pool care. A year later, the mastic started peeling off,…read moreso much so that weeds were growing underneath the mastic. We had a specialist come look at their work and they told us that they did a poor job and didn't use enough bonder nor put insulation underneath the sand. Pool mastic should last 5 year minimum. I contacted no worries pool care and a lady told me that she would come by to look at it. A couple weeks later of waiting, no one came by nor contacted me. I tried calling, no voicemail, I used their contact us on their website twice with no response. A couple times I called the phone number and it was disconnected. Finally 3 months later a gentlemen picked up, which was the owner and said he would come by that day to look at their work. When he came by, he complained to my husband that it was the sun and shifting soil that ruined the mastic (hello the pool is completely exposed to the sun, it's supposed to withstand the elements). He offered to redo the work for a 50% off discount. I paid $1100 a year ago, I wasn't going to have them come out again to do a poor job that lasts a year. Horrible company. They must be going out of business because no one picks up the phone. I ended up getting everything done RIGHT by Florida Baker at allmastic.com.
