Avoid this company…read more I was very clear upfront about the scope of work. I specifically told the owner, Paul, that there were about 3 inches of water in the pool that would need to be pumped out. He acknowledged this and we agreed on a set price for the job. After completing the installation, he tried to charge me an additional $200 for pumping out the water--something we had already discussed and agreed was included. When I reminded him, he dismissed it, saying he talks to hundreds of people a day. The situation escalated quickly. He became confrontational, questioned whether my check would clear, and made statements implying he wanted to fight. He also used offensive, racially derogatory language on my property--in front of my young children, which was completely unacceptable. His employee was present and was trying to calm him down, even stating that this kind of behavior has happened before and is getting out of hand. At that point, I chose to de-escalate and asked him to leave. This was one of the most unprofessional experiences I've had. Poor communication, attempted upcharging, and unacceptable behavior. I would not recommend this company.
