My friend Highly reopened Dave / Blades Desert Lawn Care…read more***They are difficult to get a hold of. I do not own a Mobile Phone - Dave wants to only communicate via Text Message so he doesn't answer his phone! While Blades is reasonably priced- They do not SHOW UP on scheduled days and DID NOT complete the worked they were PAID paid in advanced to do. 1. I walled my yard with Dave, the owner and pointed out importing things for him to know. They did NOT follow my directions to NOT Trim specific Plants- namely my Cape Honeysuckles and Twisted Junipers which have been hideously scalped and will take years to recover. 2. They weed-whacked my Gerber Daisies in my Annual Flower Bed saying they thought they were weeds, Mowed Down my Wandering Jew Ground Cover that I Specifically told them NOT TO DO - now I have a big 6' X 8' Muddy mess 3. Worse yet, They Weed-whacked the Electrical Power Cord and Copper Water Lines to my Fountain, as well as, severed the cords of 2 Outdoor Extension Cord Boxes. 4. Dave made promises to replace the Electrical Cord, Water Line, Replace the 2 Outdoor Extension Time Boxes, but it has been 7 weeks and has not returned. 5. He requested additional money on Nov 18 to repair the Sprinkler system - he cashed the check immediately and NEVER Returned to complete the work- I have a hazardous 2 foot by 10 inches hold in my yard. 6. Back in October, they were paid to trim my Shamel Ash tree. They left promising to be back the next day to finish it... they left the extension ladder attached to my tree for over a week before they came back to finish. An Attractive Nescience for the neighborhood kids who wanted to climb it! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ While Dave is likable, his female assistant is clueless and is the one who did the Weed-Wicking and Lawn Mowing. If you don't know watt are Plants and the CORRECT way to trim them, you should NOT weed-watching and trimming shrubbery In the long run, Blades Desert Landscaping has been a REAL Disappoint.! It will take a Long time to get my Shrubbery and Flower Bed looking Beautiful again! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Please Note; Blades Desert Lawn Care and Pool Service is NOT a Licensed Contractor with Arizona Registrar of Contracts which states; "Arizona requires a license for any project over $1,000.00"

He has left the yard halfway unfinished, Caused water damage , killed our grass we paid to have put in, and destroyed our sprinkler system because he 'thought he knew how it worked but it turned out he did not.' After the last incident we are done! We have gotten the worst service as he has done damage to our property and caused us a lot of money and headache. This person is not a legit business. Wish I'd never called him in the first place!

All three companies were highly rated in my area. The owners of the three companies came to the property to talk with me about what I needed done. Peyton, the owner of Element Pools and Spas, was the only one who gave me input that caused me to do more research and to understand much better what else needed to be done. I actually had to call the other two companies and ask them to update their quote to include the other things that I now knew had to be done. I was already leaning toward giving the job to Element Pools and Spas, but they were the last to submit a quote. Had their quote been several hundred dollars more, I would have picked them to do the work. What a surprise when I got the quote from them. They were the least expensive! I dealt mostly with Mason, the project manager, who was very proactive in communicating to me a couple days in advance the proposed schedule for each phase of the project. I also dealt with two other people in their office via email, Eric and Jennifer. They facilitated the billing process. The crews that did the work knew what they were doing. It was a happy crew! I talked with some of them and found out several had 20 or more years of experience, and it showed. In summary, I am very satisfied with the work this company did. The pool looks very nice!

I apologize in advance for the lengthy review . (Left review…read moreon Google also) I stopped by this store on Sunday, March 18th to purchase a few items for my pool (I'm a 1st time pool owner). As I tried to enter the store, I noticed a sign stating that the employees would be back in 10 min, which struck me as odd since it was during posted business hours. I than noticed a middle age woman puffing away on a cancer stick and yapping away on her cell phone. Come to find out, she is the employee! I sat in my car to kill a few minutes. Finally she is done with her personal business on work time and returns to the store. As I enter the store, Mrs Personality or Mrs Friendly looked up than continued about her business .I don't expect much, but a simple smile or a quick hello would suffice .Yet I received neither. I approached her to ask a question about basic pool care (remember, I'm a 1st time owner) and decided to Google it because she clearly did not want to be here and seemed annoyed that I was going to spend my money in the store she works for and interrupt her. I took note of her name, and I decided to go elsewhere to shop. Dawn, the employee at the Leslie's location was the ONE and ONLY reason I drove 10+ miles one way, out of my way to visit POOLWERX to make my purchase and ask a few basic questions. I live a stone's throw away from this Leslie's location. Come Monday, March 19th I needed to pickup an Auto Fill Valve and decided to swing by Leslie's, because it's convenient. Today was a completely different experience vs what I witnessed on Sunday .A young man was working alone, he must have been a newer employee as he did not have a Leslie's logo on his shirt but he did have a name tag. This gentleman's name was Mike. He was at the register with aboanot customer when I entered the store, yet he made eye contact and smiled before letting me know he'd be with me in just a moment. I looked for the float valve, but had no clue what I was looking for, so I just browsed killing a minute or two. I over heard the employee offer to help an older gentleman carry his purchase to the car, it was a large bucket of chlorine tablets. The customer was appreciative of this. Bear in mind, the employee offered to take out to the vehicle. He was not asked by the customer to do so. The employee hurried back inside the store and immediately approached me to welcome me. Mike than proceeded to ask me questions to determine if the product I asked for was indeed what I needed. He was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Mike is the complete opposite of his co-worker Dawn, and he is the only reason I will continue to shop here. I will not spend a dime in your store if Dawn is the only option for assistance, as she clearly does not care about customer service or providing a positive experience. I mentioned the prior days poor experience to Mike and he seemed genuinely concerned about the incident and apologized profusely for something he has no control over. Mike said Leslie's strives to offer the absolute best service to each and every customer, each and every time. He handed me a "water test bottle" and $199 value deal brochure with my receipt, and explained the benefits of each. Mike shook my hand and thanked me for my business, and said don't hesitate to call with any questions and he hopes to be my one stop shop for anything pool related. I sincerely hope Leslie's upper management is made aware of the way Dawn treats customers. Mike is a rockstar employee and a stellar example of going above and beyond to provide a truly wonderful shopping experience. Even though Mike may be new (making assumption based on fact he was not wearing a Leslie's polo) he was confident and comfortable, spoke highly of the company, and the reason I rated at 5 stars versus 1 star (only because I can't do negative stars) of my trip here dealing with Mrs Grumpy. I highly recommend this location, although I would turn around and high tail it out of there if Dawn is the only one working (middle aged woman) and experience A+ service if Mike (young man) is there.
