I knew that a headlight was dim, and feared that cost. We have had problems with the Buick Enclave headlights so often; we have had wok done on them five times and the cost was, generally, $600 each time. I get a call that we had an engine mount bolt that needed to be replaced (no problem) and they were looking at the headlight. When I arrived the headlight had needed to be replaced but I was informed that the previous repair had been done poorly (the gentleman at the desk had the parts available for me to look at). The cost was only 200 for them to do it right. I am fine with paying money I just want value and quality. I think these guys deliver on that.

May 21 Debra A…read more My place where I took my car closed. I went to Baum Blvd, my car is a 2021 Hyundai Sonate with almost 16,000 miles. The next day Brett called and said he had bad news. My license plate lights were inoperable, light assemblies missing. He saw this only once, my car won't pass. He called the dealer they had the them. I found this all to hard to believe, then he told me i may have slammed my truck. I am 74. He gave me numerous excuses. I said I am calling the dealer. That was when he said about me closing the trunk. I went to get it, he said it would cost 250$ they had to take my bumper off. I picked up my car an stuck my hand in the hole and pulled out the whole light, on both side! I said to Brett are these the lights, he said, I don't inspect cars. Why did i bring my car here! I left my reattached the lights in a clip that is tight,I called Brett and thought I hung up, we said about they were ripping me off. He said he heard us talking about him, I said SO! He said we don't want your business, I said I would never go back there. I am writing BB and the AG and yelp. He said no don't do that. I took my car somewhere else and it was inspected and less money than for the emissions. I am very disappointed, lie on top of lie!

I didn't end up driving this car but brought it in to them first thing in the morning for a look after I got back. Turns out they just need to pop the splash shield back up. They called about 3 hours later and let me know it was done. When they realized this was the only issue, they decided not to charge me. I really appreciate their transparency and good will. I called McKnight Auto and they told me they were "first come, first served", but were already full that particular day. I went in early the next day and opted to drop my car off vs waiting since I had a ride and there were a few customers ahead of me. After receiving their call that my car was ready and passed all inspections, I went in to pick it up. They charged me exactly what was quoted on the phone the day before and we had a nice chat. Friendly staff and seem to run an honest and ethical business. My husband took his car there as well after the good experience I had. He was impressed as well. Ladies especially, you probably know the one..like your mere presence irritates them even though you're a customer, or you can sense their annoyance at dealing with a woman rather than a man. I dont get that vibe here. The workers are pleasant and the prices seem fair. They even offer to drive you to where you are going if you don't have a ride/can't wait for the car to be serviced.
