A very cute little wine bar. To look at it, you would think you were in London or Paris. But, it is in the hip neighborhood of Tai Hang, a five minute walk from the Tin Hau MTR.
Here you can find a long list of white, red, and rose wines (and one dessert moscato) as well as a few options for nibbles. Namely, jamon platter, cheese platter, pate platter, or mixed platter - which all come with a few slices of bread and are a bit customizable: which type of cheese and pate you want is pairable with the wines.
The reason that this location does not get 5 stars is because for 140 dollars, we got a very small serving when we ordered the mixed platter. Oh, and the place has a serious mosquito problem. I get bitten easily but even my friends who don't noticed the clouds of mozzies hanging around our table despite the anti-mosquito-smoke thingey lit at our feet (which I had to ask for.) Get one of those purple-light mosquito-blasters, people! Seriously.
Otherwise, the other 4 stars were earned through great ambience and very good service - two different servers gave perfect information and advice for wines, and our party of 5 was easily accommodated. read more
