Sea food extravaganza. We had the sardines octopus entree served on water criss wow is out of this world. I had the Dorad and my partner had the tuna so delicious. The service is impeccable and Sabrina the hosted was very simily and cortious . If you do not eat this restaurant you have not eaten sea food yet. Must be visited. If you

Found some tin foil bits in the sandwich where they cut it in half which was inconvenient to pick out. Expensive too $33. Overall food was good but inconvenient and pricey

The friendly hostess is located near the sidewalk and she will bring you through a brick tunnel to the terrace. There are many tables in the open space with large umbrellas in case of rain or too much sun, as well as some tables along the edge under a roof and some tables inside (we did not go inside). Restrooms are also inside. The large plants and hanging lights make it a festive, but cozy hideaway from the noise of the busy street. Our server greeted us right away and brought menus and water. We just needed a little snack before dinner (breakfast was hours ago and it was too late for lunch). Hubby had bottled ice tea, I enjoyed a latte. We split a margherita pizza (very much like a large slice of NYC sicilian) and a chicken cutlet folded pizza sandwich. The chicken was breaded, which was not bad, just unexpected, and the sandwich was very flavorful. Both items were hot and fresh and hit the spot. Just enough to carry us until dinner! We enjoyed our meal, the time in the quiet, outdoor space and would definitely return when in the area.

Going go to start by saying the food was great. However, it was the service that lacked - meaning…read morenot enough staff to clients. We ordered food and the wait time was ridiculous. Our waitress asked if we wanted everything served at once or in 2 servings. Given we had ordered 6-7 tapas platters and the small table space, we figured 2 servings was a better idea. The first serving compromised of garlic butter sautéed mushrooms (7/10), maple syrup doused grilled eggplant with goat cheese (8/10) and a Spanish charcuterie & cheese plate with olives (6/10). The food was in all great, we finished the first serving pretty fast. We figured the second serving would come more quickly but it never did! By then we were already full and tired. It could've been that the kitchen had already prepared the food and the waitress had too many customers to serve. I called her over and told her I would only pay for the dishes we ate because the food was taking too long to come out. She got defensive and said the food was on its way and ready. I insisted no. After which, I asked if we could pay right away as we had to head out . Another 15-20 min wait as she served others . My impression would be if I had 2 customers that were upset and ready to leave, I would tell the other table " I'll be right back shortly , I just have to close this table off". She had no sense of time! It's too bad that the service can't match their quality of food and atmosphere. Hire more staff because clearly there is a demand for food but a lack of service will bring the hype down.

Calamari for an app. A lobster roll for my meal and a drink. The sangria came quick and was good, a little syrupy. The calamari and lobster roll took a while, but maybe they are a bit more relaxed in Canada. No one was available, even for me to waive down, no check ins either. Again, probably customary in Montreal, I don't know the culture that well. The calamari was pretty looking, but it was tough as a well done leather glove. The "lobster roll" had about two pieces of lobster, the rest was small shrimp. The flavor was good, the bun was perfect. But still, for the price, a disappointment. The French fries were delicious but soggy. Maybe that was a spin on Poutine.??? I sat for an hour without being able to get someone. I will not return.

Open kitchen with two chefs and two front of the house staff who were warmly welcomed me and were professional throughout. Had the oysters, clean and crisp with a nice Spanish Cava. Tried the lobster croquetas and the anchovy toast points. Tapas were in point, the anchovies were a tad too salty for me. Ended up ordering the catch of the day, butterflied sea bream. It was the piece de resistance. The fish was perfectly cooked, and the cheek/head was juicy all the way to the tail. The sides were fine, the papas bravas could have been crispier, but fine. Green beans were nicely seasoned. Had half and waved the white flag. Paired it with a tasty Albariño. Great start to quick sojourn in Montreal.
