Well... NOT this time...... :( We ordered one dozen of oysters for $32 (i.e. not cheap). So-so size and freshness (i.e. not justifying the price point), but the thing that turned me off was that the oysters were shucked fairly poorly. You can probably tell from the picture below that there were many bits and pieces of shells inside. The overall market is great, but I'll certainly try oysters at another store next time.

Portuguese food fit the bill and Douro had exactly the menu we were looking for with sardines, croquettes, caldo verde, and tons of fish and seafood choices. As fitting our last meal in Montreal, Restaurant Douro was the best meal and friendliest service we had in Montreal during our stay and we highly recommend it. We had a choice of three daily fish special: Icelandic cod, branzino, and Arctic char. My wife had the char and I had the cod, both elegantly and perfectly prepared.
