I found Leo's Taco Shop on Yelp while craving some good tacos, but unfortunately, this experience did not match the star ratings at all. I love food trucks and think most of the time they have some of the best food. They were located in front of a convenient store which was easily accessible from the street. We spent a little over $40, and for that price, the portions were very underwhelming. The street mulitas came with no guacamole, a skimpy amount of cheese, and barely any meat onion and a little cilantro... come on now. See pic below. The tacos themselves were just meat, onions, and cilantro--super basic--but the biggest issue was the meat again. It had a smoky flavor, but it was dry. Nothing juicy about it at all. Honestly, if the mulitas at least had enough cheese, it might have helped mask the dryness, but nope. Between the dry meat and the stiff corn tortillas, it just wasn't hitting. The sauces did have good flavor, but if you're someone with a mild tolerance for spice, they may be a bit much--so that didn't really save the meal either. I ended up taking the food back and asking for guacamole and somehow he didn't understand English at this point. He gave me some in four small sauce containers, and when I pointed out the lack of cheese on the mulitas, he handed us shredded white cheese in foil to add ourselves (as shown in the photo). That alone says a lot. Overall, I wouldn't revisit, especially just passing through town. There's definitely room for improvement when it comes to quality and portion sizes for the price. read more

I won't be back to this food truck. Quesabirrias were terrible as well as the quesadilla with meat. My SO ordered a birria burrito and he said it wasn't bad but it was not the best either. Bust based on the rest of the food I would had given 1 star. Only two salsas and both of them are two spicy. Nothing in the middle. The carne asada was dry and old, not enough cheese on the quesadilla. The birria consomé was meh. read more

It's right across the street from food 4 less and in front of the liquor store. Not sure on the schedule but they are always there when I need to get a burrito so no complaints. He told me my total was 8$ I handed him a 10$ and he said thank you and walked away didn't even give me my 2$ back so I guess they tip themselves lol crazy part I was actually gonna tip them more but I seen he didn't even bother to give me back my change so I didn't lol . So when I went you guys weren't even busy . The English was perfectly fine and I'm glad you remember who I was because that means that you know what I was talking about and didn't give back the change . Pretty solid. I got two things, the surf and turf burrito and the al pastor torta. I give the surf and turf burrito 5 stars and the torta 3 stars. The burrito was great! Shrimp was juicy and not soggy and the ingredients were fresh. I'll come back for this. The torta however was average at best. It was dry and there wasn't much meat. On top of that it was over seasoned with cumin or added on after it was cooked. Cumin is necessary but it should be overpowering. DO NOT get the torta. Definitely come here and get a burrito. It got sick eating here.. Tacos were tasty, I got two carne asada and one al pastor.. But I got sick.. I came to eat tacos here in the evening about an hour before they closed and about 3 hours later I was nauseous and vomiting. I won't be eating here again.
