We purchased our countertops from Atlantis a number of years ago and our cooktop recently died so…read morewe had to get a new one. We attempted to replace it and upon removal of the old cooktop we discovered that the new cooktop wouldn't fit the hole cut by Atlantis's contractor as it was miscut. We found out that due to the miscut that the hole would fit very few of the cooktops on the market today. We contacted Atlantis to see if they would do anything about the miscut and spoke to Allison but she says she can't find any record of us in their system. We had a small issue two years ago and they were able to find us in their system then so what changed? We sent her multiple emails we have of the previous conversations between us about issues with the countertop but her only reply was "we don't have you in our system". Unfortunately we don't have a receipt of the purchase as it was destroyed in a flood but you would think that a reputable company would keep records like this. We attempted multiple times to talk to the owner of Atlantis but have had no luck as Allison won't provide us with contact info for the owner and if we call now she just hangs up on us. I'm not sure if the owner (Mike Harrison?) is aware of this issue or not or if he is aware and Allison is just the gate keeper. Either way, if you value customer service at all I would highly recommend that you look elsewhere for your countertops.

We needed them for the kitchen counter, a huge island, a buffet, a built in dresser, a powder room and the master bathroom. My wife wanted Quartz, so I sold a kidney through uncle Joey to pay for it, and we eventually decided to go with a full height kitchen backsplash as well. I called several places, pricing was similar, but when I spoke to Matt "it was like Sparks, down on E Street!" Matt was so friendly and inviting and wasn't pushy. He just said our remnant yard is open, come by anytime you want and take a look. So we did. I can't remember if I called him, before or after we went by. We went through the show room and looked at several different Quartz samples, prices varied so much. We finally chose a very reasonably priced quartz product that looked very nice for the entire kitchen area, and the buffet in the dining room. For the other pieces, that were going throughout the house, we chose those out of the remnant yard. The remnant yard holds lots of different types of stone, and they are discounted, so you can find some great deals. I also ended up having the entire master bathroom shower bench, niche surrounds and threshold cut out of Quartz. Sorry for all the detail. Matt is a great person. I found him very sincere, helpful and honest. He was with me through the entire process. We had a few issues along the way, and trust me, if you haven't renovated expect issues. They're going to happen, it's how you and the people you deal with take care of them. That's when I met Don, the owner of G&M. What can I say, I wanted to hate the guy, but he was so nice! There was a small accident, which I understand can happen when dealing with these very large and heavy pieces of stone, and Don without hesitation took care of the problem. Lots of…read moreproblems with the install that were originally jointly caused by Granite & Marble Solutions and our builder, and the owner did the right thing at that time. Subsequently with seeing even more install issues that are solely on Granite & Marble Solutions, they are completely unresponsive and keep kicking the can down the road. Very bad customer service. Pretty clear that they just hope I will go away. It's been very disappointing to have spent the money we did and have all the install issues which permanently impact the quality and look of the stone. I've waited a long time to post a review hoping they would come to the table.

Capital Design Cabinetry gave me THE BEST quote for the custom cabinets that I wanted for my house…read more I was turned down by many cabinet suppliers because they no longer carried the rope trim door style that I wanted for my kitchen. The places that had a similar door style only came in a set color that could only be changed if I hired another person to sand and re-paint the doors which would cost more than buying the door itself. Payam did an excellent job color matching the stains and paints of my cabinets with the wood and tile samples I gave him. My design for the kitchen and bathroom came out exactly the way I wanted to and the colors all flow together so beautifully. Aside from doing amazing cabinet work, Payam is also very attentive and always answers my calls/texts to address any questions that I have even after installing the cabinets. His reliability and honest work has made me become a customer for life. I have attached before and after photos of the kitchen and bathroom. My house is still under construction and the proper appliances made to fit the cabinet cutouts are on back order so please only pay attention to the cabinets and not the surroundings!
