I read the reviews for Georgia Stoneworks and went with my gut and gave them a call. I'M SO GLAD I DID!!!! I spoke with John and explained that I needed my quartz countertop ordered and installed as soon as possible so that my plumber could finish his work before my permit expired. John and his crew were excellent from start to finish. He came by to do the initial quote on Friday, had the measurements done on Monday, then fully installed on Wednesday -- so less than a week in total for a fairly large kitchen job (67sq ft of quartz). Awesome! Great customer service the entire time, and he genuinely wanted us to be satisfied at the end of the day. He was open to all our requests (an overhang on the island, an extension of the counter near the sink, etc), and gave great advice. The installation guys (Goody) were polite, efficient, and timely. There was a fitment issue with the dishwasher, and John sent the guys out the very next morning to set it up perfectly. No complaints from us, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys to any of our friends or family. read more

We were going with a big box store for our kitchen counter. It was going to be a very long wait, and the company coming out to actually install the counter had terrible reviews. We quickly found Georgia Stoneworks. John and his team worked extremely quickly to help us out (we were about a year into a 3 week project). Counter tops of my kitchen is something I love the most. They are quite better than I expected them to be. They perfectly match the floors and the splash guard. They also have very small specks of sparkle which give them extra shine which make them look so great!! I am really thankful to the people who made it possible, John and his team. I found Georgia Stoneworks through the yelp reviews which were all 5 star. Not only did the company do a fantastic job on my countertops, but John the owner was extremely personable and honest. He even gave me much needed advice in related areas. John explained the intricacies of granite work ranging from cutting, movement within the slabs, durability of the material, and the importance of seeing the entire slab rather than just the portable samples. He also made it a point to attend the installation to make sure my wife and I were 100% satisfied. We liked him so much we plan to use his firm on our retirement home soon. This man JOHN CAMPBELL and KEN OLIVER are SCAMMERS to say the least! I paid this dude 10 THOUSAND DOLLARS as a deposit to do a room add on to my home ( General Contractor). For a month John gave me bull crap and excuses as to why he couldn't get things done. He never delivered any of his own deadlines and got a attitude with me AS IF I took his money! WHAT AN IDIOT. He never did any work for me and ran off with my entire deposit and is not taking my calls or responding to me. Of course I am taking legal action to the HIGHEST level toward this fool. Purchased my new kitchen countertops from Georgia Stoneworks and it was fabulous experience. 1) They measure using the old wood template system. This takes considerable more amount of time but a laser measurement is sure way to have crooked countertops. Lets face it our walls are not straight, so templated countertops allows them to cut the stone based on the wall. 2) They were a pleasure to work with and MUCH cheaper than the big box stores. 3) The stone was delivered and installed within one-week from template. The lack of integrity is astonishing. Please do your research and find a different contractor. This company will leave you unbelievably frustrated and wishing you had hired someone else even if it cost you more. We never once received credentials of any subcontractor that entered our home. We never knew if we had convicted felons or sex offenders in our home. We had to be very firm with the owner to get his insurance and license information as a precaution in the event his "crew" stopped showing up towards the end of our project.
