Eric was very responsive from the get go. He was thorough in explaining the process and what was needed to complete the job...and then some! Eric's communication was awesome from the first time I reached out. He was professional, friendly, and professional. He let me know the morning of when he was on his way and progress getting here (his commute was 90 minutes away). I got a quote for material and he offered to call and get a better price and then I called in to pay for it. What a kind gesture! He and his crew were timely and efficient. Eric explained the process and showed us what he was going to do. When he ran out of material, he got more and when he charged us for the material and trip, he didn't price gouge. He showed us the receipt for the additional materials and that is what we paid. We couldn't be more happy with job and Eric's professionalism. Ours was a large project - a combination of several small projects including a gas Fire-pit, a large Water Feature, an Outdoor Kitchen complete with Grill, Refrigerator, Stove, etc, a Pergola with Swing, an expansive Landscape with hundreds of plants/trees, and a Fenced area for Raised Garden Beds. Hugh Dixon (Owner/Project Manager) was extremely detailed oriented and took pride in his work. Every detail was executed with precision and care, from the quality of the materials to the thoughtful layout. Even after a feature was completed, I would often see Hugh observing and changing something (that I saw no issues with) until he was satisfied. Hugh never cut corners and listened to all of our suggestions, even made last minute changes when we changed our mind on something. And the end result was simply spectacular. Our friends and neighbors say they had never seen such an expertly laid and meticulously installed flagstone patio. Hugh's team was extremely professional and punctual. When they would leave at the end of a hard work day, they would clean the entire area, wash as needed and will leave the work area spick and span. Some of the other companies I had gotten quotes from told me that I would need to hire additional companies/people - for example for sprinklers relocation, or for bringing a larger gas line for the fire pit (because I wanted a roaring fire), or for any carpentry work etc. Hugh's team did everything from A to Z for me, no additional help needed from anywhere else. Hugh had promised to wow me, and I must say he more than kept his promise. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are evident in every feature, and we're thrilled with how the entire project has turned out. When Skip replaced my front concrete porch he added some type of colorant which wound up drying to…read morean uneven mess. There was also an area by the front door that was an uneven concrete mess with big gaps between the brick and concrete. He came out to attempt to fix these issues . He advised me that I should just have the concrete painted to cover up the uneven color, which will result in more money out of pocket for me, to cover up shoddy work He claims he "fixed" the uneven area by the door. It now looks worse, with different color, texture and a raised area. I have had painters in to look at painting the concrete. They have expressed concern that the "fix" in the front will likely look worse when painted, much like a big drywall patch would look if not smoothed and sanded. I reached out to Skip about trying to rectify this problem area and he just said "Sorry". Claims he did all could do. I'm now stuck with additional expenditures to attempt to correct a giant eyesore in the middle of my entry
