I had a full kitchen installation done about a year (start of 2024) ago to experience the functionality of the kitchen before I decided to write a review. Starting with the design, made numerous amounts of changes and guidance from George and his team. What was very important to me was the timeframe in which the kitchen was completed, the hole project was completed before the completion date. Spartan Kitchen was able to finish our basement March 2022 and it turned out great! The project included a theater room, full kitchen, bedroom/closet, multipurpose room, and a full bathroom. Unfortunately it took longer due to supply shortages, but the end result as you can see from the photos attached is spectacular. The cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom turned out better than we expected. The shower and bathroom in general, which look amazing, are a result of George taking his time to ensure we were happy with the final result as well as hanging blinds, barndoors, closet fixtures, and other extras. I had cabinets installed that came with a sink, counter tops as well. Save yourself the headache. They gave me a quote and advised that if I wanted them to connect the pipes it would run me about $1,000.00. I don't have enough time nor space to give you all the details. The sink was defective, had to be replaced and I had to pay the plumber a second to reconnect the pipes. Supposedly they would pay for the second install, the plumber quoted me a price of $475.00 because he had to cut the pipes and do a reconfiguration. The person I was working with said, that sounds a bit much, my response was not nearly what your quote of $1,000.00 was. I have yet to get the money. I finally bought a range hood, and guess what, they didn't allow enough space for the hood to fit, off by 1/4 in. These people supposedly do this for a living that they hire for installation. You would think that they would correct any problems that occured, but I guess that would be asking for too much. It's alright that I'm out of $475.00, a range hood that will not go over my range, and you took my $9,666.00 dollars. I first found Spartan when I was looking for a bathroom vanity cabinets. I first tried a popular supply warehouse nearby. I wasn't happy with their customer service, so I stopped here. George is very laid back, and answers even questions I didn't know I had. His input was very valuable for me to choose the right vanity, size, color etc. The fact that it's a small business was very valuable to me. Both George and his wife Ada, had ample time to sit with me and provide the information I needed to make a good choice. I was a little worried about paying for the vanity before it being delivered.( they do have lots of exact examples for you to see however) However for anyone worried about that....put your worries aside. George delivered it for FREE....safely and without a spot on it. We had even agreed on him installing it...but rain and our schedules interrupted it, so I had my contractor install it. Overall good experience with George and Ada. Their price was very competitive with surrounding businesses. We found this place by chance. We went to a place next door looking for a bathroom vanity for our bathroom remodel. As we were leaving I noticed their shop. We stepped in and asked if they could do a bathroom vanity. The sales lady said yes and she worked a quote for me. It was considerably lower than anything I had found so far. It was everything I wanted, solid wood, fully extending drawers with soft close. I did not order right away, as I wanted to research the company. You will find some bad reviews. But I also found reviews that explained what happened. This company has been reclaimed by the original owners. The person they sold to is what the bad reviews are about. I was very eager to get my kitchen renovated, but was quickly disappointed. We set up an appointment for there designer to look at our space. She didn't show. I called her 1/2 hr after and then she came. She told us she would have designs within the week. I reached out 2 weeks later ...no designs no call back. I called 3 times over a month and finally got a call back from the owner. He told me that she had been really busy. I said it was okay as long as she got back to me that week. The big box store promised that I would have them by the end of September, and by Thanksgiving, they could not promise that I would have them before the New Year. With two bathroom renovations stalled because the cabinets were not going to arrive for weeks still, I stopped into Spartan Kitchen and Bath to see if they could help me. They were wonderful. They promised me cabinets within the week, and they kept their promise. I ordered everything on a Thursday and the cabinets were installed by the following Wednesday (unbelievable!). We had our whole kitchen done and they demoed and had the cabinets in within two weeks. Finishing touches took an extra two weeks (4 weeks for all work is not bad considering most take longer) but the installation work was done with high quality and the installer was very cautious. Even though the cabinets were not custom they made custom modifications that gave our kitchen a cystom look and feel. The looks as good if not better than what you will find in magazines. we had an issue the team at Spartan was very quick to resolve, no issues encountered. read more

The folks at Spartan were great. When we initially called we had a few hiccups on both sides but Rich was able to ease our concerns. He walked us through the process and gave us several options above and below our price point and provided pros and cons for all options. After deciding on the layout and the cabinets we wanted, Rich and his team came through as planned. If you want to wait months upon months upon months to have a simple renovation completed please go with this company! No kind of organization and complete lack of respect. Well all started well as things usually do. But as soon as the renovation started on demo day issues came up. Rich was completely rude to the man doing demo and proceeded to talk to him as if this man was his child in front of me and another family member of mine to the point that I felt so bad for the guy. Rich talks to people as if they are peasants including talking to me like this several times when I had questions about my kitchen especially when you catch him lying. Which happens don multiple occasions. They play the blame game on each other and take no responsibility for the lack of communication within the company if I can call it that. The only person trying to help me initially was a man named Gordon and halfway through he quit. So all that I am left with months later is communicating with the Owner George. I still don't have all of my cabinets in the kitchen and never have at any point but they did make sure they took the 2nd payment for the job. Read very carefully! You don't owe the 2nd deposit until ALL cabinets are delivered! They called me even before the bottom cabinets were even in my home to get the second deposit. After 2 months I received my hood. Here we are over 3 months later and still dealing with issues installed! DONT EVER USE THEM FOR COUNTERTOPS. I paid a lot to have Quartz and they didn't install it correctly! THEY SELL IT BUT IT GETS FABRICATED BY ART STONE - 1800 Wilson Way SE #2, Smyrna, GA 30082. They are rude, inconsiderate and don not care about the clients! They messed up my island in the kitchen which I paid a lot of money to have done. The waterfall edge of my island was suppose to be Mitered and it wasn't. Remind you I told Spartan this and I told Art stone this as well. They mitered the whole top part of my island and not the waterfall edge. Here we are almost the end of July and they still can't correct the issue. Art Stone has promised to come to my home 3 times now and me or my husband take off from work each time and they don't show up and to top it off we don't even get a courtesy call to let us know that they will not be showing up. So we wait around and they don't return calls even if you do call. I have talked to the owner Wellington and he is the rudest businessman I have ever encountered! First of all even though THEY messed up your countertops they don't care about coordinating with you a convenient day to come out. They set the schedule and tell you which day they are coming regardless if it works for you or not. When I called him to ask him if they could come on Monday instead of Wednesday he got loud with me and said no. I asked why? He said don't ask me why. I said I am paying to have a job done so I would expect to get answers. He proceeded to yell at me and tell me that I don't pay him that Spartan kitchen does and to not call him asking questions to call George. This is second time he did this! The first time I called he cursed at me and yelled at me then went to George and told him that I cursed and said these things to him which were a complete LIE! Here we are months later and they still won't correct the issue! They didn't show up last week on Wednesday and they have not even bothered to call me to tell me when they plan on coming. I called George the day they didn't show up and he was boarding a flight and I told him what happened and I haven't received a call yet. I tried calling back and he won't be back until August the 8th. I guess finishing my project is not important to either Spartan or Art Stone. This amount MANY MANY MANY other issues have happened but it would take forever to type it all. I have proof of everything I say including e-mails and phone conversation with Wellington and it is sad that I have to do this but after months and months of trying to be nice I have had it! I have spent over $15,000 and they have treated me like trash in terms of just doing what they say they will! I still have a cabinet door missing my island is not as promised! This is literally the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my entire life and I wouldn't suggest ANYONE use either company! read more

NO. Not NO but H E HOCKEY STICKS, NO!! Too many issues to even go into, from quality of cabinetry to poor installation of cabinetry, having to call repeatedly for follow-up, and they couldn't keep a schedule if their job depended on it. I came to the job after the granite top was installed, only to find that the two side splashes were not installed, as there was a bow in one wall. Not only did I have to rent a belt sander and sand the walls, I then wound up having to set up MY tile saw and cut AND RIP AND install the granite splashes because the "granite company" was apparently NEVER available to do their part. I'd give them all an F. The cabinet installer set the boxes crooked so I had to have them come back to correct this. Two boxes, and they couldn't get a straight line across the front,, drawers were not aligned, unfinished ends,, etc. I could go on a few days but take my word when I say, I will not give them my business again. I actually found this company by accident ... I was looking for another one and could not find it! But I am glad that I did find Spartan. I used this company for a counter top and back-splash in my kitchen. They did the removal and installation of everything. It looks beautiful!! The entire process was not 100% seamless because that is what happens with construction however, they came back to complete everything until it was 100% to my satisfaction! Run from this remodeling contractors. Signed contract in December and job still not done. They will look for the cheapest people to do the work. Then the work is so bad it has to be redone. Their saying is concept to completion. But that will not include hardware for you bathroom or kitchen or lights. This was not a hard job. I came into Spartan Kitchen & Bath in 2013 quite by accident. I was on my way to Appliance Mart located around the corner. I needed no frills but quality kitchen and bath cabinets and was limited by my insurance funds due smoke damage in my home. I was greeted courteously by the Pam the office manager, and introduced to Brian, the cabinet designer. I explained what I wanted for my cabinets and he took great care to listen and jot down my requirements. I explained to him that I had a time constrain for making and getting the cabinets delivered and installed. Brian went out to my home and measured the areas in my kitchen and bath, got busy on the design and emailed me his design. It was exactly as I had asked for. Spartan & Bath had my cabinets ready for installation in one week. The cabinets are what I expected and I am very happy. A few of my cabinet doors needed tightening so I contacted the owner, George, and he worked me into his installers schedule and this was taken care of for me. I am a happy customer. Excellent service and beautiful products from Spartan. My kitchen is gorgeous and the craftsmen who created the cabinets and the installers who put them in were real professionals. Very competitive pricing and wonderful results. One caveat is that I would not recommend getting your granite through Spartan. Their subcontractors who did the granite were not as skilled as they needed to be and we had to come up with several plumbing work-arounds as a result. Spartan helped with those issues tremendously, and Roger in particular, was a genius at making fixes for granite issues. Strongly recommend Spartan if you're looking for beautiful and well-made custom cabinets, lovely design, and competitive prices. And I'd recommend Luxor in Roswell for the granite. read more
