We have only been here a couple of times a while back. It's close to the exit off 96, just past the gas station. Ate a medium Leo's famous Greek salad, pita on the side and two grilled chicken pitas. It's average food. I tend to prefer National a bit more. read more

Not really a fan. I ordered a grilled cheese and chicken noodle soup. My soup tasted sour, and when I let the server know, she seemed confused and said that the chef must've added lemon juice into it. Ok? Then she replaced it with a vegetable soup that wasn't really that good. My grilled cheese was pretty stellar. That's why I gave him a two star instead of a one star review. The employees seemed friendly enough, but everything just seemed really disorganized like the woman who was running the cash register was also handling carryout while three waitresses just stood around. Like why not jump in and help each other out . The location is pretty convenient to a lot of stores so I think they get a lot of business that way, but I'd recommend going to another location. read more

Ordered through door dash and was charged extra for cheese and onions on my scrambled eggs and never got the onion and cheese. My breakfast was a pile of slop. It's was so greasy and gross. Never again will I eat here. read more

We were invited by our 85 year old friends to eat at Leo's in Howell. We haven't been together in years. I ordered battered fish and chips. The fish were saturated with grease inside and out. The fries were cold upon delivery. I didn't want to create a scene because of our friend's invitation, so I quietly sat there pretending to eat the grease and very cold fries. Finally I stopped. About 15 minutes before we left the waitress approached me and ask if there was anything wrong. I told her, and she asked if she could get me something else. I said that we're leaving soon, and I didn't want my friends to sit there and wait for me. There was something very wrong with the fish that was served. It's sad when you only visit a place once, and you experience a situation like this. I probably should have got a hotdog I guess? read more

Yummy yummy great service 10 minute wait time is great takeout also great just great no this is not ai generated

I ordered avocado Toast to go and this is what I got... no seasoning just a plain slivered avocado and toast. Just so you guys know avocado toast usually has guacamole on top with seasonings. read more

Leo's Coney Island - Bad Avocado toast - Diners Near Me - Howell, Michigan

The chicken lemon rice is so good. The staff is friendly and a nice little place to eat

I ate here while passing through a few weeks ago. The food was good and the service was quick. My waitress was very pleasant. The bathrooms are clean and kept up. Overall, it was a nice experience and I'd stop here again if I were ever in town. read more

I love Leo's... but this location, ever since the virus, has really gone down hill. First off, the place never seems clean and always has a old mop water smell; which is surprising in this time. The bathroom door handle was sticky, there was no soap in the men's room; only hand sanitizer! Then there's the food... where to begin?! Our fries were undercooked and soggy with oil, while the onion rings were burnt! My gyro had a chemical taste... I think it was the sauce; it's like they forgot how to make it or dropped some windex in it! Yuck!! The waitress didn't know the menu and clearly didn't have kids, because despite us being her only table, she wasn't very responsive and as our kids were going nuts because they were hungry, she didn't do much to help speed things along. read more

I feel bad for these people who had a bad experience because I didn't! Service was good, food was quick, speedy, and delicious.

Great service and good breakfast for the prices. The building and landscaping is falling apart; in much need of attention. Seat yourself is fine, menu is typical Coney Island, and service is fast. Great location, in proximity to Tangler Outlet. Stop in to refuel from the grueling shopping slog. read more

I have never had a problem with here and i've been going forever. The service is always well, we are constantly checked up on which is nice. The food is as you would expect mo complaints. read more

Our first visit to Leo's was in April. We had never been to this location before and didn't know what to expect. The inside was clean but somewhat dated. As soon as we sat down we were greeted by our friendly server, (Morgan?). She was very patient and provided recommendations from the large selection on the menu. We went with her recommendations and ordered Greek salads, chicken wings, coney dogs, a wrap and a couple of different appetizers. Our food and drinks came out quickly and was very good. Since then we have been back 4 times. Todays visit was no different. We were greeted by Ashley' friendly smile and enjoyed good food and great service. The west side fishing group looks forward to visiting on our next trip. read more

The only Leo's in the chain that puts lettuce in a Village Salad and wants to charge you the extra money for vegetables you won't get. No manager available on Saturday to inquire about the discrepancy, but the wait staff said that's a managerial decision and that's how "we" do it. Seems like that can't be? Would have much rather had the trusty Leo's experience I've always had everywhere else. read more

Walked out of leos after a meal and had a bad taste in my mouth. Flies roamed around the resturant and the food was subpar at best. The busboy (or man I guess) hover around the resturant waiting for you to finish a plate or glass. I usually enjoy the leo coney island chain, but this one needs work! read more

Found a broken toothpick in my food which was in my mouth after the bite I took. Told the waitress and she could care less. Would not recommend going to eat here unless you want to choke on a toothpick. read more

It gets the job done.... Just go with it. The Chicken noodle soup was luke warm. I bet of I asked, they would have warmed it up. Staff is friendly enough. Cheesesteak tasted good. It's not fancy, but just enough. Feels like the waitress are the local high school kids. I shouldn't have to ask for Tabasco, they should ask me if I needed it... They also ask you if you'll be putting a tip on your credit card. Um, isn't that a little presumptuous? It is what it is.... read more

Part of a larger chain of coney islands across SE Mich. Located across the street from the Tanger Outlet Stores in Howell. x133 on I-96. This location is way smaller than it looks from the outside. The food was good, the atmosphere was decent, the crowd was nice (it was uber busy on a saturday afternoon when we were there), the service was fair, the prices were typical for this type of establishment. All in all an average experience. 3 stars. read more

I spent many years growing up in the Detroit area before moving to Chicago - I miss every day the Coney dogs I grew up with and Leo's is the place I stop in whenever I come to town. While there are diehard fans out there of American and Lafayette (I am not EVEN going to get into that debate, despite the fact that I have a favorite) I usually will choose Leo's because of the convenience factor. I find it hard to compel me to go all the way downtown, when a reasonable version is just minutes away from where I am visiting. Now--if I happen to be going to a Wings, Lions or Tigers game, that's an entirely different situation. read more

I pulled over for the hot dogs, and was disappointed to find only three options: plain, traditional coney, or traditional coney w cheese. In a world of countless creative hot dogs with tons of options, this was really sad! Even Sonic Drive In's have more variety. The coneys themselves were average. Nothing special, but certainly not bad. read more

We eat here whenever we shop at Tanger Outlets--I guess we have to, as the outlet has closed ALL their restaurants! Leo's is fine. It's clean enough, quick enough and hot enough. It's always uncomfortably crowded and just a bit shabby. read more

They forgot parts of the order. Went to retrieve the missing items. When eating Greek chicken wrap there was a big dead fly tossed up into the wrap. Unsanitary and disgusting. read more

Let me start out by saying i love most of the leos coney island restaurants but this one on burkart road is by far the worst leos anywhere. I have been 7 times now and 5 out of the 7 times my food has been wrong or gross and old. I walked in today and we sat down at a booth and 4 girls who worked here looked at us sit down then continued to talk about a bar and locations how to get to a bar for 11 minutes without even coming to the table. So when she finally came over we ordered and the omelette came with no cheese which was wrong and the avocado i ordered on the side was black and some frozen in the middle. They also just threw a whole avocado on the plate and never even bothered to slice it up. After the waitress dropped our food off she never returned again for coffee and she has been walking past our empty cups for almost 20 minutes now. Worst money and waitresses ever! read more

What's not to love about Leo's? Fast service, great diner food, AWESOME coneys that are only a dollar on Tuesdays. A staple for us.

Good place for breakfast! I tried the gyro omelet, which was good, but since I am not the biggest fan of gyro meat, my appreciation for t might not be as great as others. Liked everything I had and the price was good, but it does get pretty busy in the morning. read more

This place is horrible! It will give you serious health problems!Stay away from it! We were there today and ordered two small salad, the whole thing was rotten! Avocado is pure black, cucumber slices are still frozen, and the lettuce is turning black! The salad looked like had been siting in the kitchen for 100 years! No idea if people there had lost their sight or what, from the chef to the server, why do they even serve this poisonous food to people??? I had to show the waitress how bad the salad was! And then at check out, they were even asking for a tip! Shame on them!!! See the rotten avocado on the plate I picked out!!! read more

Perfect for breakfast. Best corned beef hash in the whole entire WORLD. I would go every morning just for the corned beef hash. delicious food. Diner atmosphere. So good. Going tomorrow for the corned beef hash. read more

Food was served quickly. Coney Island dog was okay; not spectacular. Food was just adequate. Menu had too many types of food: Greek, Coney, American. Would recommend removing some items from the menu and concentrating better on the remaining items. Service was mediocre. Asked for "no mayo" but apparently server mis-heard and we got "light mayo" instead. Left cash tip at table but server acted offended because we didn't put a tip on the credit slip. read more

The food here is decent, your standard Leo's Coney Island fare. Service is friendly and quick which we appreciate. Located near the outlet mall, it's convenient to get some food after doing some shopping. The interior is a little dreary and the bathrooms not so clean. It might have been an off day for them in the cleanliness department? read more

Today I placed a carryout order. The first time I called, I was immediately placed on hold. Several minutes later, she came back to the phone. I placed the order, and right after I did, the phone disconnected. I called back and was immediately placed on hold again for several minutes. I hung up and called back and told her "This is the 3rd time I've tried to place an order!" She said "uh yeah, i accidentally lost you the first time...but I've got to finish something up really quick. Hold on a minute" When I went in, the line for the register was all messed up, so she took two people who came up to the register AFTER me. I was on my lunch break and had placed two separate orders for my coworker and myself. The girl said incredulously, "I see you have TWO orders?! Did you want me to combine them???" (which is quite ignorant, but no biggie) I then got back to work and found they left out the pita bread that I should have received with my Michigan salad. I was not amused. My coworker said her cheese fries were DRY, and there was a mere SLIVER of cheese. She admits, however, that her potato skins were "okay" These broads need to it together, because i'm on the verge of taking my business to AllStar Coney. They also are always standing around, gossiping, and not doing much else. Their primary objective is to "look cute at work" read more

Restaurant is typically dirty, always seems to have a lot of flies. Food is hit or miss. Sometimes it's average coney island fare, but sometimes it's gross (bad lettuce, burnt fried food). Waitstaff is average for a coney island restaurant. read more

Service was horrible. Server was Hailee. All staff seemed to just stand around. We had to ask for coffee refill.

Wait staff is very helpful and nice for the most part, the food is great. It seems like they are way under staffed on most days and it's also the hottest place I've ever eaten at. It feels like they have the heat on every time I go in there during the summer which is very unpleasant. The worst part about any restaurant is when it feels like an oven when you walk in and that's Leo's. I would recommend their food to anyone but would not recommend eating in because it's unbearably hot in there and it is very difficult to enjoy your meal when you are burning up the whole time. Bottom line is they really need to turn on their air conditioning! read more

Huge menu, good prices. We are from out if town shopping at the outlet mall. This restaurant looked busy, so we decided to try it. Our food was very good. Server was friendly but not super attentive. Would have been nice to have refills on beverages. Only negative besides refills was watching the four servers standing behind the cash register area counting their tips. The gut busing the tables was a hard worker. The place was clean. read more

Food here is real good, service can be a bit slow but they are always busy so..... ate here with my parents when they were in town for a visit.
