The prices here were not that bad especially being in Positano. I got a mushroom and spinach omelette which wasn't bad just very cooked making it a bit dry but good overall. I wanted just egg whites but not sure if that was even an option. For desert we got a tiramisu which was good and a lemon sorbet inside an actual lemon which was delicious and very appetizing. We sat right outside with cars and people constantly driving and walking by but it wasn't a problem and it was a nice experience, something new and pretty much safe. If I ever come back to Positano I would come back here again. The staff here was also very helpful and nice.

We had limited time and couldn't make a reservation but to our delight, we got there just as they were opening and were seated without an issue. About an hour later, it did start to pick up. The service was a bit slow but it seemed to be two servers that were very busy with the crowd continuing to arrive so it was understandable. I don't feel this was so much authentic Italian dishes but it definitely was just what I was looking for. I opted for the fettuccine with shrimp that was not too heavy with a hint of lemon-just perfect. Of course, we also had lemon spritz as well. Overall, I would highly recommend!

The cheese pasta that I had (forgot what it was called) was AMAZING! Just such a unique flavor and I'm so glad that our server recommended it to us. What made us come back was how kind the servers were towards us. We were waiting to sit down for around 5-10 minutes and a table became available. We wanted to wait for the servers to seat us because common courtesy and whatnot. However, a family that just got there had their feral teenage child BOLT towards the available table that we would have probably been sat at because we were next. We tried to tell them to wait for the servers to clean the table and to inform them that they were cutting in front of us and others as well. They pretended not to understand us. The servers noticed this and went out of their way to help us find an available table. They also apologized profusely to us and the other parties waiting as that family jumped the line. They went out of their way to make our experience awesome. I also LOVED my lemon slushy. The gelato they served us at the end was delicious and an unexpected surprise. The incident with the family was not at all their fault yet they took responsibility for it and made sure we were satisfied. The food was amazing and we came back again to try even more menu items (which were amazing) and this time no table snatching families with unruly children! I came back on my last night to say goodbye to our servers. They still remembered us and made us feel so special. Thank you to Monnalisa for turning a sour experience so sweet and becoming our fave spot in Sorrento.

Service was gracious, the views were spectacular, prices reasonable for location, and the food, HEAVENLY, all cooked perfectly al dente. My husband had the linguine alla vongole. He said you usually only have pasta left at other places but they were so generous with the clams and they were so tasty, he had plenty to devour until the last noodle was eaten. My amatriciana's tomato sauce was so al dente and the tomato sauce was so fresh, there was no need to ruin it with a shovel of cheese. The meatballs were to DIE FOR. Seriously we had ordered a mountain of the stuff. The restaurant looks alarmingly like a tourist trap but in our humble opinion, is anything but. If you're in Positano, this place is a classic. (And the plates! You'll know what I mean when you see them. So regionally perfect and memorable. We took photos of them along with the views!)

The service was mediocre at best, you could tell they were mostly interred in turning over tables instead of providing good customer service. We ordered to starter salads and a couple of entrees. The salads ended up coming out with our food, which I guess is maybe how they do it in Italy, and the salads were very disappointing : arugula with tomatoes (no dressing) for 8 euro. The food was actually better than expected, but I think we had pretty low expectations. The steak frites was good and huge and the pasta vongale was also good with a lot of clams. The view was great, you are overlooking the beach here. As I mentioned, the food was decent but don't expect too much in the way of experience and service. O and I would recommend that they make both of their one stall bathrooms gender neutral - right now they have a men's and women's and the women's line was 5-10 women deep at all times; us Americans used the men's to cut down on the wait.

You order and pay while they make your cones for you, and most people took it to go. The fried seafood was fresh and served hot. We ordered the mixed fish and the fish and chips. Highly recommend the mixed fish so you can try a variety of options. Portion size was good for the price. As you can see from the photos, the cones were practically overfilling. There isn't too much seasoning though and they only gave one lemon per cone. Very difficult to find a table. There's only a couple tables and a handful of bar stools inside. They also sold cold bottled drinks along with a larger menu inside the restaurant.

I wanted to be seated in the air conditioned dining area, but I was dining alone and they didn't have single seating inside, so I was seated in the outdoor area. Fortunately, it was cooler today than it's been, so I was comfortable enough. The octopus salad was good, but not quite as tasty and tender as I've had at restaurants in Portugal and Spain. They brought a whole bag of sliced bread to the table (about 6 slices) and there was olive oil and balsamic vinegar at the table. Cost was reasonable; 10 euros plus 2 as a "cover charge". The octopus salad came with tomatoes and Kalamata olives on a very small bed of arugula. It was the perfect amount for me as I wanted something light.
