I researched local dental providers within my new network and stumbled upon the stellar reviews from my fellow yelpers. Luckily this office is so close to home for me. I was politely greeted and filled out all intake information with the 2 front desk girls. They were professional and kind. I then met with hygienist Hazel who took her time cleaning my teeth, was very gentle and afterwards had a brief consult with me about flossing more to avoid plaque build up. The other hygienist Gloria was very welcoming and kind as well. Dr. Jacob entered the room and was extremely friendly and bubbling with a great sense of humor. He consulted with me about the enamel stains I've had on my two front teeth since a child. This is the first time a dentist has suggested an alternative to invasive porcelain veneers. For years, I've met with different providers and there has not been a solution. He discussed a mild Icon polish treatment and was happy to review what my insurance covers. I'm extremely satisfied with my visit and can't wait to return for this procedure so that I can feel more confident smiling. Just like rapper Cardi.B I just want to get a bag and fix my teeth. You know it's not cheap :) The parking lot is super convenient for patients. Such an added bonus for this area that monopolizes on municipal parking.

My mother just came back from this place and got her tooth taken out. I'm talking about you Delba,…read morewhy are you telling my mother to smell her own tooth because it was rotten. What happened to being profesional? Do you think it's because of the area where ur office is that you can treat people like that? You have all these certificates on your wall, and yet your character does not reflect them at all. And to set her next app until October is ridiculous. How about you smell the tooth next time since you have the audacity to say something like that. Surprised people even come to you despite all of these negative reviews. You think because she only speaks Spanish that you can just treat her that way. Thankfully, I am someone who knows how professionals should act and I know how to write a review. Anyone who wants to come here, just don't. Find another dentist. Don't waste your time.

During my husband's recent visit to this dental office, he felt uncomfortable with the way one of…read morethe dental assistants Yaritza Ortiz interacted with him. In his opinion, the behavior came across as overly flirtatious, and it didn't feel appropriate for a professional healthcare setting. He went in expecting a comfortable and professional experience, but left feeling uneasy because of the interaction. While the dental treatment itself was fine, I believe maintaining clear professional boundaries is important so every patient feels respected and comfortable during their visit.

I recently had an issue this last week. when I called to make an appointment the receptionist that answered was very, very rude, and rushed me off the phone. When I had questions regarding my situation she didn't want to be bothered and rushed me off the phone. When I arrived to my appointment she greeted me with an attitude and in the welcome sentence she jumped to say you have no insurance and we'll discuss payment after your visit. As if I didn't already know that and always pay in full the time of my visit. I left needing to see an oral surgeon. as I was leaving I asked for a referral. I was told I didn't need one. When I arrived the following day to my oral surgeon appt. they asked for my referral that I didn't have. I called Raios office (110 E. Main St Huntington) The same girl answered the phone. I told her the situation. She was so rude again. Told me she was emailing the referral to me, I asked her not to as I was already in the chair. She snapped and said "what's the difference if I send it to you and you send it to them" and slammed the phone on me. I immediatelytried calling back as did the receptionist at the other office and no one answered. It's hours later and I still don't receive the email. I do not appreciate being treated that way. As I have spent a lot of money in the past. Out-of-pocket full payment upfront. I travel 45 minutes to see them because I trust the doctors. And I value their opinion and as of right now they have never directed me the wrong way. I've had a wonderful experience with the other receptionist there, Stacy. She has taken great care of me and my family. But as for this other receptionist, the way she treated me was disgusting. It had me second-guessing if it's worth the 45 minute drive to see a doctor. I'm sure I find a doctor much closer Dr to me. I don't deserve to be treated that way and I will not be treated that way. As a business owner myself , I would not put up with my workers treating my customers this way.

Before my HR person got back to me they changed their tune by saying they just called my insurance and said there is no waiting period and the previous person they spoke too at Anthem gave them that info.
