I've also had a few cavities filled by Dr. Barkoff and the process was minimal pain and discomfort - not like previous fillings I've experienced. I was so nervous but he explains everything to you and is so knowledgeable in his field! He talks to you through the whole process making you feel more at ease and comfortable. An added plus that he is approachable with questions or concerns you may have about your teeth. The atmosphere of his office is friendly and very clean - which I love. I actually ventured out to a different dentist for a few cleanings because the location, at the time was more convenient. But that office doesn't take my insurance anymore and I was on the search for a new dentist again. I called Dr. Barkoff's office a few days ago to see if they still took my insurance and I was so happy they did. My information was all still intact - making my transition back to Dr. Barkoff's office so effortless. Another plus is that they email you reminder of your appointments! I reached out for an initial visit and spoke with by far the rudest and most arrogant receptionist I have ever encountered. Not only did she talk down to me the entire time, she argued with every little statement or response I made, and refused to be cooperative in any meaningful way. She liked to add, "I've been in this business a long time" with every response she made. I have never been so disgusted and offended by a medical secretary in my life. The perpetual condescending tone, the offensive quips and jabs at my "knowledge of dentistry," and non-stop sighing are a new low for me. If Dr. Roula Kapetanos Panas is reading this, I want you to know that you lost a customer and a patient all due to the arrogance and rude behavior of your secretary Susan. The dental rooms are new with state-of-the-art equipment. My dentist recently merged with this group which is the apparent reason for my first visit here. Other than my dental hygienist being the same person, and my dentist as well, there is not much more I can review at this time. I have been extremely satisfied with my dentist and dental hygienist for years. We shall see where this goes in months to come.

His office staff is terrible and Michelle puts wrong codes into insurance company so she can try to charge you extra money out of your pocket. She also will try and cancel appts you made to squeeze people in without insurance to get the money for big procedures. I have opted to discontinue using the office for future procedures
