Working with Jose, you'll very quickly realize how honest he is. My home was built in 1902, so there were obviously some challenges. Jose would contact me, discuss the issue, and offer several IN CODE options. He impressed me with his knowledge of county and state codes. Again, HONESTY!! His quote was one of best I received, but I still would have chosen his company, due to the way he presents himself. I found myself at home with some health issues on some days while they worked, and to be honest, it was very amusing, and relaxing for me. I would hear the music playing, and one of his crew members would suddenly break out singing to the song that was playing. Things like that showed that they were enjoying life, just working away, and happy. I also asked Jose to quote a roof for my house. Again, he was THE ONLY guy to actually get on my roof and measure things. I could hear him stomping around, checking the integrity of the plywood. No one else even got up there. So, if you want an honest, hard working construction team, these are the guys to contact!! Jose also has some fantastic referrals for the work he doesn't do. Not fun, anxiety and stress kicked in hard. I wanted to hide and just forget it all. But my roof was leaking. The big brown tarp was a dead giveaway. I'd given up in total confusion with bids from $18k to $57k, a lot of promises and more than a few insults. And then I met Chris, the owner of Five Star. He listened to me and my story.
