Elite Armory is one of three of my favorite local ranges, so I trust their advice. They've never led me wrong. I'm still amazed at how much my accuracy improved after just one session with Silvercreek. Conrad's observations are keen and insightful. He imparts wisdom in a way where you can actually use it to improve your form and mechanics. What's even better is that the improvements stick with you if you continue to practice and keep them front of mind. Since my main instructor is now retired, there is no one I trust more than Conrad. I've trained with several local firearms instructors and he is the best I've come across. I like that his classes aren't jam packed so you get good one-on-one attention. He comes off as a skilled and caring instructor who sincerely wants to help people rather than turn a quick buck or prove his superior masculinity. My CCW qualification always happens right in the middle of summer. As a lady who is accustomed comfort, Elite Armory is the best local range to qualify in. I'm not a fan of training for CCW qualification outdoors in the dirt and dust, roasting in the summer heat and sun for hours and hours. Peeing in Porta Potties. Nowhere to wash your hands. No thank you. But I digress... Anything involving life or death situations, you want to be sure to train with the best. I have no doubt Conrad will help me undo any subtle bad habits that creep in and weaken my form over time. Ideally, I'd like to train with him every six months. It helps that his pricing is fair. I like that he doesn't gouge. He's not the cheapest, but he's also not the most expensive--he's right in the QPR 10 ring.

I took an Intermediate Pistol Course earlier this month with Matt and Ben leading the class -- both were phenomenal instructors. Each instructor had their own philosophy and methodology with handling and tactics. I appreciate that they also brought their "real world" experiences into our group discussions. Since the instructors have LE and Military backgrounds, better perspectives and examples are shared with the class which is an added bonus for those who are learning new concepts or strategies. The course I took was at Field Sports Park on the border of South San Jose and Morgan Hill. We had a private section of the park which worked nicely for our intimate class size of 10. The class started at 9am and ran a little bit past 3pm. We completed drills as a class and did some additional work in smaller group sizes of 1:5. I enjoyed the session so much that I signed up for 1:1 instruction for a new weapon I just purchased. Signing up is easy. Just browse through the course offerings on the website, select and pay for the course you want to take (check for prerequisites), and Adriana (I believe she's the Operations Manager) will respond to you promptly with all the details you need. By the way, Adriana has been an absolute pleasure to work with -- she's responsive and really great with answering questions. Overall, there's a pretty awesome team running this business. I would highly recommend for beginner shooters, skilled shooters, expert shooters, and every skill level in between!

Great experience with LEO Defense Concepts! I completed their 16 hour CCW course this weekend and…read morelearned a lot. The first day focused on firearm safety, education, and California CCW laws. The second day was hands on training and qualifications. I learned a lot about proper holstering, grip, sight alignment, and overall firearm safety. I go to the range regularly and thought I was a decent shooter, but this course showed me there is still plenty to learn and practice. What I learned about proper grip made me change everything I knew about it. Joe and his team are amazing. Joe brings a ton of law enforcement experience and knowledge, but explains everything in a way that is easy to understand and apply. I took my first handgun skill builder course with Josh, Mike and Steven this past weekend. They were all extremely friendly and did an absolutely awesome job instructing the class. The top priority is always safety with LDC and it definitely does not go unnoticed. I truly appreciate the way that they communicated with everyone; information is very streamlined and truly a great transfer of knowledge. I will continue to take classes with LDC and recommend them to all of my friends and family! Everything from start to finish was nothing short of amazing. The 8 hours of classroom time was extremely informative with real world situations which made it relatable and fun. The information was all clearly explained which made it extremely easy to digest. I feel truly thankful for all of the assistance/coaching that I received from the entire LDC team. We had the luxury of working with Joe, Archie, Mike and Roman; they were an absolute class act all around. The time on range was extremely safe and an absolute blast. I truly appreciated that information. Coming in on a Saturday afternoon, it was a full house. The range master was very informative and showed me a few great pointers, being a lefty. Safety was very prevalent. I absolutely appreciate being in a space where it doesn't matter if it's your first or fiftieth time here-- follow the rules. Can't wait to bring my family back here!
