I am getting the runaround and it is very very frustrating. I've been told I will receive a phone call several times and Hayley has not called me back. I came in another time to just get sized up and pay. I've been coming there for a few years now, today, which is Friday, 19 December 2025. People had appointments to get what I needed was my eyes to just be sized. I already glasses, which were Versace. I was waiting about a half an hour and a girl came in and I did not know she had an appointment. I said, hey, I was waiting.. So the employee that had the appointment with someone came up to me in a very condescending, patronizing and cocky Way and told me "that she had an appointment. And maybe you don't know this" and more....but she was basically "putting me in my place" so to say,for me out for saying that I was waiting and I think I'm next. I was taken back and ready to walk out.. But I waited, then somebody walked in with another appointment. So I did leave. Then I got home and called for an appointment. I was told that I'm to walk in and then they size me for my glasses. Well, I wanted an appointment, but maybe this is a sign for me not to purchase them. Because talking to them on the phone was even more difficult as I asked for Krystal, who is the first person that I saw and was very willing to help me when I walked in. They ended up transferring me. To a girl named Renee, who I think was the person that reamed me out sitting in the chair. As if I was a second class citizen.. I said, but don't I need an appointment for when the Care Credit person is in. "No, you could just give us the numbers and. We'll call you. Again so unprofessional, and I don't know where these employees came from, because it used to be such to go and get my glasses, but I will no longer do so! I will just go to euro optical where you're treated kindly. Maybe it was the day that I went in in the COO was there that everybody was kind and doing their job but people were sitting there talking on their phone and I'm just waiting to get sized and pay. I did nothing wrong and I was treated so poorly!

After getting my eyes examined, and ordering a 'sample' contact to try, they couldn't find the sample after notifying me it was in, then tried to give me 3 boxes of totally wrong ones. No one could understand or explain why the wrong item(s) had been ordered... had to wait until the correct one came in, and decided to place an order. My husband got a text the contacts (his and mine) were all in. When he went to pick them up, his were ready, but they had 'no idea' where mine were. We're they ordered? Did we get notified they were ready? People scrambled to look for them, found 2 of the 4 boxes, and Candice assured him "we will call you FIRST THING tomorrow and let you know where they are." They never did. But when he was leaving, the front desk person, Debbie, insisted he pay for ALL our contacts, even though we were short 2 boxes. When he realized he could not get through to the woman that we were getting 6 boxes, not 8 (evidently she can't divide $320 by 8), he paid for them all. Again, we did not hear back from them. I called the next afternoon, and they were not there (close on 3 on Fridays). I left a long, detailed message, and asked to be called on Monday, or I would contact my credit card company to dispute the additional $80 I was changed. An automatic text thanked me for calling; I replied with a request for a Monday call back. (crickets).... On Tuesday, I emailed the practice owner, Peter V. Mogyordy, to inform him about the service and communication, or lack thereof, I was getting from his staff. (crickets). (Crickets) on Wednesday. On Thursday, I went to the business. I was angry and asked where my contacts were. Everyone acted shocked I hadn't received my contacts. Candice acted like this was the first she had heard of my 'lost' contacts. They looked for them. They wanted to know which ones I hadn't received. They wanted to know if I needed any to get by. They balked when I said I wanted my money back for the contacts I hadn't received. Candice assured me she would get back to me by 5:00 that afternoon. She did. She said 'We have called the manufacturer and they have told us they are in route. I will have them ready for you first thing tomorrow morning.' (An emergency FedEx shipment?). I asked her to contact me when they came in. After 12 noon, with no contact, I texted Candice and asked if my contacts were in. She said they were. So much for the notification. My husband went to pick them up. When he told Debbie he was there for my contacts, she told him to 'have a seat' while she looked for them. She did find them this time, and he was on his way. The lack of customer service. The lack of simple communication. The disorganization. The absence of any real concern or personal responsibility by Madison's staff makes a great eye exam pale in relation to their service. Suggest if you do go there, do not buy anything from them.

He says that the doctor he's interacted with (Dr. Kaye) is extremely kind and helpful. He plans on going back for a LASIK consultation in the next six months and he's pumped about it. I'll update my review at that point. As far as my experience goes, this place is gorgeous and looks high class - the way you would picture an Optometrists / Ophthalmology office located in Westlake to look. When you enter the door to your right is the actual Optometry / Ophthalmologist 'doctor's office' type area and to the left is a gorgeous high end looking lens/frame shop. The walls are covered in jazzy, classy, and cute frames. You're guaranteed to find something that suits your tastes here. While most of the frames carried a high end brand name (Fendi, Versace, Coach) I overheard the technician inform a customer there were frames as low as $50 dollars available - which is great if you're a baller on a budget! All of the people I encountered here (the receptionist on the doctors' side and the technician in the frames area) were all smiles and willing to help. If I ever need contacts/glasses this will definitely be the location I choose!

This business opened 2 years ago (in 2018) in Rocky River so they are still fairly new. The facility is very neat and clean. EYE EXAM -- The whole exam took about 15-20 minutes. You will go through the standard eye check then test your eye sight by reading letters off a board. I also added 2 additional services, a blood pressure test one other test (for a total of about $25 extra). I can't remember the name of the other test but I think it was a glucose test. My insurance covered the eye exam and new frames (new glasses). I paid extra because my insurance didn't cover everything 100%. I also added blue light to my glasses to reduce the effect of eye strain when starring at a computer. GLASSES -- There are so many options to choose from. Cindy, the front desk clerk, helped me choose which frames to get. I ended up with a colourful and patterned DRAPER JAMES frame. Draper James eyewear was started by actor Reese Witherspoon which is cool because I had no idea that she had a glasses line. I recommend Dr. Hopper if you are looking for a eye doctor in the west side of Cleveland. **** - 15/100 total reviews in 2021 - 434 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 19 January 2021
