Top Notch Service! This place was nice, I was greeted when I arrived and given a tour of all the lenses (I felt like a VIP). Then she gave me a shopping tray to put the frames I liked in, and we sat at her desk to discuss. Using the tray was kind of awkward as picking up frames and trying on frames was difficult with one hand. You'd think I'd be an expert in that though... I had a prescription already, so I was just looking to find a new pair and after going through some frames, I found a pair that fit well and looked acceptable and we were onto the pricing portion. Luckily, they were having a Labor Day sale with 50% off Lenses and 30% off Frames. Score! We went through the fitting process, she attached some type of measuring thing to the glasses to measure my head or something or other and placed the order. I paid and an about a week, my new set of eyes was in! I can see clearly now, the rain is gone... but give it 5 minutes and it will be back! It's Florida! read more

From mixed communication with the ordering process to them damaging the meta frames they ordered by shoving my lenses ordered in them (they first told me they'd reorder them but then declined instead to shove them in) and the mic doesn't work on my brand new pair of glasses because they didn't wait for the new lenses to come in plus there are tool marks left on the rim. My first experience with LensCrafters is not a good one. I will go back in tomorrow and see if they will make it right since I just picked up glasses today. read more

He also volunteers with LensCrafters in poor countries to give free glasses to thousand of people who may never get them. Vastly improved here. Give it another try! After going to the optometrist inside LensCrafters in Waterford Lakes, they gave me my new prescription and to ge my new glasses I went! I met with Gerardo, a very nice and knowledgeable agent who was able to pull my information from my last glasses which I had made in MA. That made the process fast and easy! They confirmed I could use my same frames and went over my insurance benefits. He made sure to confirm my measurements and let me know an approximate time my glasses would be ready for pick up. This year my eye insurance changed and my previous eye doctor was no longer in my network. Additionally, my contact presciption ran out during Covid-19 and I was in desparate need to refill my prescription. After searching numerous places this particular LensCrafters location had the earliest appointment. It was meant to be because I had a wonderful experience. I had received numerous texts and e-mails regarding their safety protocals prior to my appointment. As requested, I called upon arrival and was told to enter with my mask. Everyone in the store and exam area work masks. The exam was a breeze. Afterwards I spoke with a sales assistant to select a new set of glasses. I was torn between 3 frames and the sales assistant guided me to select one. Overall, the customer service was excellent. I will definitely be back next year for my next appointment. read more

We've been going to this LensCrafters for almost 10 years. It seems like their service has declined in that time. The optometrist is good. He's patient and thorough. But that's where it ends. His receptionist tried to charge me their standard non-insurance price of $89 for an exam, not even bothering to check my insurance. One I told her about it, the price dropped to $25. Had I not said anything, i would have overpaid, assuming the higher amount was accurate. I got no apology from her. Then she started asking me questions that were all on the paperwork I completed online the day before my appointment. I had to keep pointing her to that paperwork because I didn't feel like wasting my time because of her unwillingness to look in her computer. After my exam, I selected frames. I was observing both employees there, and one seemed a lot more knowledgable. Unfortunately, I got the other person. It was an ok experience, but I found that he wasn't really able to explain my insurance to me when I was getting charged for something I thought should have been included. I have been here twice to purchases glasses and both times it was relatively easy. Mind you, I have a good I idea of what I want/need and I don;t entertain the sales pitch. That being said, they have never really given me the sales pitch other than to say "do you want this?" to whatever add-on they offered. They seem to be able to navigate my insurance and get me in and out of their quickly. The only part I hate is the fitting part with the new glasses--it tends to take too long and by that point I am done. The last time I went in to pick up my newly ready glasses I told them I just wanted to leave but one of the employees asked me to indulge her, promising to be quick. I went to the Casselberry location and I had a great experience. I booked online. Doctor Ron was great explaining everything. The beautiful young lady who did all of the eye tests was very professional making sure i knew everything was cleaned between clients. Everyone had masks on. Roshane Hayes helped choose my glasses and fitted them to my eyes and face. He was professional, personable and engaging. Great people skills. I have come here twice and had great service both times. My husband also comes here too and we both have the replacement insurance and yes we have used it more than once. You get brand new glasses if you break yours for a year from date of purchase. $34 is so worth it. I also had a coupon for free sunglass! I got $188 worth of free sunglasses! Yas I love a good deal. My overall experience at this LensCrafters is below average. Although the eyeglass department staff is very friendly and professional, they are understaffed and not very knowledgeable. I am unsure whether the associate I was working with was new but she had to constantly stop and ask for help from other team members. It was not just her, I noticed the same from other associates the few times I was there. My eye exam was okay and since I had already gotten my exam done there, I decided to purchase my contacts and eyeglasses there as well. The contacts associates were also not fully knowledgeable about the process, contacts, pricing or the overall department. They also referred to their head team lead having to stop multiple times and lining up to ask the head desk associate questions. The team is understaffed, their timelines are not accurate and their eyeglass selections are limited. Moving forward, I will consider comparing reviews before making an appointment. read more

Sat in the store for 45 mins, wasn't greeted or acknowledged in any way. I politely waited for my turn to have my glasses tightened. No organization to know who Was here first and when it was finally turn I waited another 20 mins to even be spoken to. Don't waste your time here, and go Somewhere else more helpful. This place is a ripoff. Glasses frames cost over $200 and they wanted to charge me over $600 for the whole thing. The sales lady of course upsold me on "blue light filter" and "anti-glare coating" but when I expressed shock at the total price she quoted me a price of $400 without it. I have been a LensCrafters customer since I was 12, I'm now 23. I definitely know my way around this place and can tell who knows their stuff and who clearly doesn't. I've had a few issues here and there with them but never anything to deter me from discontinuing my business with them. I recently had a bit of a "tough night" and lost both my glasses (sunglasses and everyday glasses). I couldn't wait to get a new pair of glasses because when you have to switch back to your old prescription and you are dealing with migraines daily nothing in this world can touch the pain besides getting your correct prescription. I thought about buying online to save a considerable amount of money because let's be honest, LensCrafters is PRICEY! As soon as the thought came it left because I couldn't imagine having to wait that long to get the relief I desired. I was willing to pay the larger price for convenience. Needles to say an hour in LensCrafters and I was set with my new glasses and sunglasses (I bought RayBan sunglasses so I had to wait a week for those. No biggie. Normal.) I did have to go back yesterday because I was charged twice for my protection plan and needed to be refunded and I also needed to get my glasses readjusted and was a bit hesitant because I was ready to be home after a long days work. I called ahead to let them know I was coming and was greeted when I walked in by a manager named Enchante. Little did I know this woman would CHANGE MY LIFE! I'm not sure how long this sweet woman has been employed here but as a loyal customer I hope to see her every time I come back. Not only did she assure me she would see that I got my refund she readjusted my glasses with such care. She took time to sit there and explain to me what she was doing and why. When I put my glasses back on I was AMAZED! Enchante changed my glasses wearing life. I've never had a pair of glasses fit me better than when she adjusted them. Any daily glasses wearer knows this is a make or break difference. Not only did Enchante take her time but she was most definitely the sweetest and most kind employee I have ever come across at any LensCrafters, heck maybe any place that deals with customer service. Just like many others have mentioned....optometry side is very slow. Appointment at 340, arrived at 330. Taken back around 410. Did one set of exams and sent back to waiting room. Called back again at 500 and met Doctor and did 2nd set of exam. 3rd part of exam was supposed to be dilation of eyes, but after being told it would take another 30-45 minutes for solution to work and then be called back again, I chose to skip it and call it a day. First and last time at a retail located optometrist. Retail side was very attentive and very devoted to helping. They explained everything very well and set expectations for insurance and out of pocket cost. The biggest drawback....this is a retail chain and their prices reflect that. Very overpriced for frames, lenses, etc. Decided against getting my glasses from them and will shop other options. read more

I go in today to find out information. I couldn't even get a question out before I was walked over to the Doctor's office. After that info was figured out I go back to the glasses side and the same woman that directed me to the doc starts to tell me tto check insurance for a visit. I say it's ok I will figure that part out I just want to .... And that's when she walked away to help two people that walked in the door without a word. she completely disregarded anything I was going to say like I wasn't even there. I love LensCrafters and have been going for year. This location is a strange one. My appointment was for 11:20; I wasn't seen until after 12:30 so good thing I had no other plans! The eye doctor was however wonderful, so that was a plus. The low rating is for the eyeglass side of the store. While I was waiting for my initial appointment the 7 employees were hounding everyone in the waiting room to try on glasses or if they needed assistance with anything. However when I came out after my appointment and DID need help looking (spent about 20 minutes trying on and taking selfies in various frames) the 7 of them were in a circle by the window where you can see them making glasses, loudly telling each other stories. It was really bizarre. Would I go back for an eye exam? Probably. Will I be purchasing my glasses there? Probably not. read more

Scheduling at the Dr's office is an issue. I was sent a text to confirm a 1PM appt. I did. Was sent a confirmation email that my 1PM appt was confirmed. Called to verify, associate told me I was confirmed for 1PM. However, when I arrive the day of my appt, the associate tells me "I have you down for 1:40PM, that's weird." I show her my confirmation. She affirms, but I don't get called in until 1:43PM. They have me sit in a curtained area, and let me know someone else is still in the patient room. Once it hit 1:52PM, I was fed up. I had been there for an hour, yet to be seen. Between the discrepancy (on their part) with my appt time and the long wait time, it was unacceptable. I took time off my job to be here, so it would be appreciated if the Dr's office would be considerate of their patients' time. read more

There we around 8 other ppl with about 5 diff staffers assisting. The young lady was very nice and professional. I will agree with others thou, the vision side is super --slack---- Anyway I will visit again if I need to. The customer service with fitting, adjusting and finding glasses is good. I had a horrible time at this LensCrafters. Went in to try contacts and the front desk lady was super rude. and very impatient. Lots of new workers getting trained and she was very rude and even more inpatient with them! and the worst part was that she would do it in front of me! Don't get me wrong the doctor was great but the employees were horrible and ruined my whole experience there. I won't be going back sadly only because the front desk lady ruined my whole time there. Sad to say i don't know her name, but she did have a accent, which isn't a problem with me, because i have one also. If it was possible to give them 0 stars, I would. I have never dealt with such poor customer service. I scheduled an appointment over 2 weeks a head of time, because I knew my schedule with work was tight. I still had to wait 45 minutes before being seen and the whole process took 2 hours. I specifically had asked if they were able to preform a field of vision test prior to scheduling my appointment, because a doctor had suggested I get one done. On the phone, they told me wasn't a problem. When I was finally seen and the test was done, the optometrist told me that the machine was not that good and did not provide any useful results. Only positive was that they credited me back for the test... The final straw was today when I requested a copy of my prescription, I was told not a problem. A few hours later, I still hadn't received an email, so I called the office and was told they don't send out emails until 6:30 because they were too busy. I explained that I wasn't told this when I called originally and needed it before 5. I asked if that was possible and the response was "No, I am too busy with other patients." ABSOLUTE WORST. I get being busy, but that shouldn't stop you from at least being polite. read more

Then wait it gets better...after you order your glasses and the come in and think that should be quick..NOPE. 45min later I've been asked to wait in the area and only one person has gotten their glasses. Finally they get to me and they forgot to tint my SUNGLASSES. After taking an hour off work now being told to come back tomorrow because it takes time.... No one bothers to stand behind the counter and offer assistance. They weren't even busy.
