This review is about ION vision within the LensCrafters store: They messed up my prescription, I kept thinking my eyes would adjust so I waited a little too long to go back in. They wouldn't do anything for me and on top of it they have a completely non helpful receptionist with an attitude problem. Maybe her nose ring is affecting her customer service, not sure. I'm sure they're so busy they don't need my business but I'm gonna take my business somewhere more helpful & friendly. read more

I had my eye exam at Ion Vision located within this LensCrafters location. After, I decided to get some glasses. Athena helped me pick out a set of frames, and then another, which was not my intention. I appreciated when I tried on a pair and she said they didn't "look like my style." How funny, but she was right. She did a great job making a connection with me and that was the reason I ended up selecting 2 frames. The process of ordering them took a bit longer than normal, but she was new and still learning their system. I didn't mind at all and she chatted with me the along the way and felt like a friend. The finished frames came in very quickly, maybe a week or so, and the fitting at pick up was very quick. read more

LensCrafters is one of those places you walk by and don't pay much notice to, until you need them. Getting older, more near sighted, and in need of things like "glasses", this store has proven to be a winner for my family and me. They work well with insurance companies, have very reasonable schedule and wait times, and a full staff dedicated to get you what you need to see better. All while being conveniently located in the mall. I also love that these guys give great service. Sometimes I bend my sunglasses. Yes, it happens. And every time I do it I take them here where they have the tools to fix them properly. They do it no questions asked and are very friendly. After accidentally breaking her glasses, the team there made sure she was in great hands and took such wonderful care of her! Took days to get my order processed with a lack of communication from LensCrafters. I did not get the correct lenses and they refused to correct the mistake. Manager was unpleasant. I would suggest taking my business elsewhere and avoid this dying mall location. read more

What a horrible place. I've always gone to lens crafters as a child, so I was happy to drive to this location even though it is over an hour away. I was also able to make my appointment online, which is a major plus for me... Positive aspects end there... Ion Vison is located in a dumpy, sad mall. Do people really even go to malls anymore? This place needs to be knocked down. Anyway, I made it clear from the very beginning that I needed a routine eye exam, something that I am years behind on because I've always had excellent vision that does not require correction, and that I was interested in color contacts for halloween and other costume events. So these people gladly charged me and took my money for a "colored contact lens fitting." But then during said fitting, there were no color contacts available! I ended up getting two different colors (one in each eye) of contacts that were not even colors I wanted. The doctor told me he would order the other colors and that I could come back to pick them up and try whichever colors I wanted, because it was all covered by my "colored contact lens fitting" fee. So they called me and I made the hour+ long journey back to this awful place, only to find that they still had no color contacts. None. The person behind the counter told me I could just order some. Really? What is the point the of the "colored contact lens fitting" exactly, if it does not even exist? At this point I was still willing to cut my losses. But then they sent me a survey by email. And so completed that, responding that the service was completely unsatisfactory. They responded by saying: "Sumira, we're disappointed to hear of the negative experience you had at our location. We regret we could not get exactly what you wanted as far a trials, unfortunately it is the manufacturer's policy that they do not send out colored contacts with prescriptions. If we can remedy the situation in any way we would be glad to. Feel free to give us a call." I mean, really??? I didn't want color contacts with a prescription and that is something I never requested. They conveniently make an excuse for sheer laziness. Just refund me for the "colored contact lens fitting" fee, considering that I have to go again to a different eye doctor who actually has color contacts available. I suppose they need to scam patients to actually keep the doors open at this dilapidated and depressing place... read more

I have been getting my glasses and safety glasses from here for years. However after the last couple of years they have hired an individual who has not only messed up my order, but he also lied to me about my safety glasses. I was told that the nose piece on my safety glasses was replaceable as that was the design flaw from the same pair I had previously. So I bought them again. I took them in today to be told that they weren't, and never have been replaceable. The only reason I can give this place two stars is that they allowed my one year warrantee that expired 20 days ago to be used to replace my safety glasses, because the nose piece had worn out. Buyer beware. The nice people they have to help you, make wages based on commission. They will try to get you to buy your glasses with all the bells, and whistles to up their pay. Just so you are aware. I will be going elsewhere next time. read more

Five years ago I had a horrible experience with this store, but people deserve a second chance, so I went again on 20 Feb 2016. The doctor who gave the eye exam was fine but a bit unprofessional with his corny jokes, but he did seem proficient in his tasks. Then there is Stephanie (sales associate) who is unprofessional, rude and tried to bait me into a confrontation when I informed her I would be contacting her corporate offices and mentioning her by name in my complaint. When I asked not to speak with her anymore and to deal with another associate, she began to act melodramatically stating i scared her and she was calling security if I continued to speak to her. She just couldn't walk away and let me deal with anyone else. She seemed mentally unstable to say the least. Best tip... go anywhere else! It's just not worth the headache and frustration. I hate to paint all employees with the crazy brush, but this is twice in five years that I have found the "crazy" one, and had a horrible experience. At least last time they sent my a total refund. This time I'll just be happy to walk away without the stink of Crazy all over me. I hear Costco is cheaper and better service. read more

My 30-day satisfaction guarantee was about to expire, and they were willing to extend it a few extra days to make sure I was happy with my second pair of frames that I had bought. I worked with Sarah, and she was WONDERFUL - she adjusted my glasses a few different ways until we found what was perfect for me. So thankful for her generosity of time and for her patience helping me feel totally comfortable in my glasses. read more

Their optometrist was very thorough and did a great job. They did a great job in helping me choose frames and options for my lenses. My only complaint is that their price seems to be higher than competitors. The service was good, but I would suggest price checking before making a decision. read more
