They were confident their Zeiss lab -- in Kentucky or Germany -- could handle it, and they were absolutely right. I chose a pair of fantastic blue frames that really complement my face and style. For years my lenses have been thick, but Eye Candy was able to use 1.74 glass lenses that are the thinnest I've ever had. They took a bit longer since they were made in Germany, but the first-time quality was perfect. I'm over the moon with my new glasses. Outstanding service, expertise, and results. My husband was having some vision issues and saw an ophthalmologist at a private practice in our…read morearea. The doctor checked his vision and said he needed a new prescription that required specialized lens. He is a truck driver so it's important that he get the correct prescription for his needs! After the exam this ophthalmologist said the new glasses would cost close to $1,000!! We decided to take the new prescription to America's Best at the North Olmsted location. The store was very clean and well organized and upon arriving we were greeted with a smile. Our technician was Selena Ortiz and she was a delight to work with! She was kind, professional and very knowledgeable about these new "special lens" my husband required! She explained in depth how they functioned and how they would help my husband! She was very patient with all of our questions as well! When all was said and done the lens that a private ophthalmologist wanted almost $1,000 for ended up costing us half that price! America's Best will now be our go to for all of our optical needs! Thank you AB and thank you Selena Ortiz for all of your kindness, patience and help! It took them three attempts and weeks to get the bi focal placement right in the lenses. Final straw was today I broke the arm of my sunglasses..not the frame at all the frame and lenses are perfect I took them up to the store expecting to be able to order and pay for a new arm. It's literally held on by a small screw! I was told somewhat rudely tonight that I'll have to have my lenses put into new frames they don't order parts for glasses. I'm done with this place. Do yourself a favor and go to Warby Parker like I should have. And will in the future.

Because of her snarky disposition, I don't trust the accuracy of her answer. However, I would trust her to urge me to buy anything, even if it was not needed, to beef up her commission. Today was the first time we visited Dr. Bobst and we were both impressed by the practice. The front desk staff were friendly and very helpful. Dr. Bobst himself was personable and quite knowledgeable. The regular optician was not in today and we were hoping to get the ball rolling on new frames for my husband since his glasses are broken. Even in the optician's absence, the staff was able to at least get everything measured so that the optician had his measurements on Monday to order the glasses first thing. It was very helpful and we really appreciated the great customer service in times when it seems like that's the lowest priority for a lot of places. Needless to say, we have officially found the place we will be going for all of our vision needs.

My trial contact lens took 3 weeks to arrive, picked them up with NO instructions. I've never worn contact lenses. Didn't even have right or left on them. Couldn't see anything up close, called the office and explained that. Said they were not multi focus I said that's what I thought I was getting. Well I couldn't see anything up close including my phone so I told them I'm not wearing them. Made appointment a week and a half later, no idea what for no one told me anything. Arrived at my appointment told the person who greeted me that I'm not sure why I'm here, she said she wasn't sure either. Told her I don't have the contact lens in because I couldn't see up close, she said ok. Fast forward to the Dr. Told him about all I just explained. He said they are multi focus I said I have no idea when I called the technician said they were not. He said let's have a look, I'm like I didn't wear them. I had no idea what this appointment was for, no one told me to wear them. He then laughed at me, like he couldn't believe I didn't wear them to this appointment. Unbelievable, no communication at all. Will not be going back.

We were called back right on appointment time- no waiting around watching your time tick away. Jackie was amazing with my son's pre-appointment exam, letting him know what she was doing before she did it. Dr. Wiersma was professional and to-the-point; I had full confidence immediately and appreciated his time presenting options and answering questions. He took us to the front room and Natalie helped us from there. She was friendly and professional. We never once felt forgotten or unattended to, which happens as you wait and wait somewhere.
