They get it right the first time. I bought a new pair of prescription glasses. They arrived early, and needed no adjustments. The lenses were exactly as prescribed, and the nose pads needed no adjustment. I've been going to them for years, and highly recommend them. read more

Love love love this place!!! The doctors and staffs are always nice and thorough, the LensCrafters staffs were superb! I was not even buying glasses, but they were super friendly to adjust my glasses. Thank you for great customer service! read more

Great customer service. Thorough exam. They helped you pick out frames that are flattering to you. But here's the rub: Over one year later, I received a bill for $245. Over a year?! Prior to receiving the bill in the mail, I had no idea that there was any hang up with my insurance or that I may be on the hook to the tune of $245. Ridiculous. read more

Sehgal Eye Associates at Lenscrafters could be better. The doctor gave me prescription, I had several pairs of expensive glasses made. When I picked them up, I had difficulty seeing. I had the owner of the practice double check the prescription and it was not even close. They gave me a wrong prescription, plus heart burn. No apologies from the owner. Then they sent me a letter demanding more money even though my insurer says I had no balance. I would not and cannot recommend this practice. On the other hand, Lenscrafters is great -- albeit expensive. But if you have a problem with your prescription or are dissatisfied, they will be very accommodating. I would recommend this store, but not the Sehgal Eye Associates. read more

I have to segment this review into two parts: First -- I would give them 3-4 stars for the service. Very nice people, professional and patient. Second -- I would have to give them 1 star for the cost. For a routine eye exam they will charge you or your insurance approximately $280. While this may be the "regular" price, there are a lot of reputable doctors of optometry that offer coupons for eye exams (for as little as $30). At the very least they could have informed me at the beginning of the appointment what their charges will be. And next time I go to any eye doctor I will ask what the cost is up front (I just didn't expect it to be nearly $300!). ***** If you have a limit on your eye care benefits -- Seghal Eye Associates at this particular Lenscrafters location will eat up your benefit in no time. This may leave a rather small amount for you to get your glasses, contact lenses, or other eye care items that your insurance would normally cover. ***** The selection is a matter of style. They seem to have a lot of fashionable/catchy styles, but fewer regular/plain styles. read more

They are fairly quick with walk-in eye exams. I was suppose to be examined in 30 mins; but it turns out to be 5 mins. I wish they had more brand selections so there would be more styles. Nothing there really caught my eye; but I was in for the 35% off. I was in and out in a fairly reasonable amount of time considering that there were tons of people there. the wait list was 3 pages long; but I didn't have to wait for more than 10 mins after I signed up (I didn't realize there was sign in procedure till I was 15-20 mins into browsing). The associate was also very patient with me. She helped me in selecting a style fitting for my prescription and my head size. She also took digital pictures of me (side/front) so I can see how I look. I ended up not buying the frames that I selected; but rather the one she selected for me. read more

Stay away. I went to this eye Dr. for a contact and eye glass exam. I work in the mall and it was convenient. When I got there I was told by the older Dr.(not Seghal) that he was covering for Dr. Seghal and was not comfortable doing a contact lense exam. so I had to go back another day and have everything redone. It's been a year and I need a pair of glasses. I lost my prescription during my move up to this area.(my fault) I called 3 times and have yet to reach a real person! I asked to receive a call back in my message. I have yet to receive a call back and will have to go in there and ask for a copy. A place I thought would be easy to do business with has been nothing but a hassle. In the mean time I have no glasses! I hate to give anyone a negative review but I can not in good conscience recommend this office. I am a business women and I am VERY busy but return calls in 24 hours or less! read more

Service was fairly quick but staff was a little rude an not very interested in helping us. Glasses seem to be very well done and was very convenient to have my prescription on file. Would deal with again. read more

No customer service. Wanted to buy 2 pairs of glasses. The store manager on would not help me. I'm really disappointed

Very rude staff, they were late by more than 45 minutes for my appointment and the staff didn't seem to care at all, she asked me to reschedule or go elsewhere. read more

Awful place to go to there so rude and only kind with a sale I will never go to Lenscrafters again

Absolutely horrible service. I made an appointment for an eye exam in person with the receptionist. No slots were available that day so I made an appointment for the following Monday. Upon returning at the appointed 2 pm time on Monday they had nothing booked for me. Turns out the exam had been entered for 2pm on the day I made the appointment instead of the day I was told (even though it was already after 2 pm on that day...why didn't their system block this?). So upon being told they could not take me I made another appointment for the next day at 1:15. Upon arriving for that appointment the receptionist gave me an odd look and told me that it was the doctor's day off an there was no one to give exams that day. It hardly seemed worth trying again at this point so I'm off to find a competent store... read more

STAY AWAY from Sehgal Eye Associates! They are so bad. The Dr. didn't know anything. She was so so rude. I had the worst experience. Dr. Patel was so incompetent. The front desk woman was super rude. She did not know how to process my insurance. She did not know how to order contact lens. The first time they forgot to order my lenses and they called me in to try them! The second time she ordered wrong prescription. Third time she ordered only 6, when I had already paid for 12. To top things up, she was super rude to me and my husband. That front desk woman was always arrogant. REALLY REALLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I would never recommend that service to anyone! read more

We have been using Dr. Sehgal for my children's yearly eye check up for couple of years because they are conveniently located in Natick Mall. I had an issue with them before when they put me on collection list even though I had paid in full. They sent collection agents to harass me for months claiming that I had an unpaid bill, which was not true. I reached out them to get the record straight, however the book keeper/accountant was often not available to answer the call, because she works part time. She did not return my calls the next day even when she returned to office. After many unanswered calls and couple of visits in person, finally I found someone who confirmed with me that I had no outstanding bill. However the collection agency continued to send threatening letters on behalf of Dr. Sehgal, even though the woman in office insisted that I was not on their collection list. Finally several months later, the doctor's office admitted that there was a mistake on their list. By then I was already fed up with the harassment of the collection agency acting on Dr. Sehgal's behalf. Recently my daughter needed an eye exam. Since a year had passed from the last incident, I had already forgiven them. So again for the convenience, we made an appointment. Thinking this is a simple check-up, I let my daughter go in by herself for the appointment. When I came home from work that night, my daughter handed me a receipt from Dr. Sehgal. She explained to me that the secretary told her before the exam that Dr. Sehgal does not cover the insurance type we have and instructed her to pay up-front, and to have insurance "reimburse" her later. My daughter did not understand that if the insurance doesn't cover it, they will not reimburse later. She naively believed the doctor's office and paid the full amount using her debit card that stores her monthly allowance. The amount of bill cost almost her whole year's allowance. Now I really have problem with this doctor's office. How can you trick a minor to pay out of her pocket when their staff already knew that our insurance does not cover this doctor? How can you come up with a false statement to cheat the cash out of a minor so the doctor can get the money? Does the staff not know that insurance "not covered" means the insurance is "not going to pay". I have never heard the "not covered- will reimburse" theory. At least, they should call the parents to discuss the issuance issue before proceeding to take cash out from a child. Now my daughter's bank account is wiped out by this doctor. She learned a hard lesson. read more

Very bad customer service. I got arrogant attitude and no patience. I just left and purchase my glasses in other place.

I was recommended to Lenscrafters by my eye doctor to change the prescription of my eyeglasses. Upon receiving the new lenses I was not very pleased with the improvement to my vision. I returned to the eye doctor for a re-evaluation. The new lenses were made correctly but she changed my prescription. Lenscrafters redid 2 pair of glasses (regular and sunglasses) at no charge with NO hassle. I was so relieved that they made this entire process so stress free when the issue was not on their end.Thank you Lenscrafters-I can see clearly now! read more

Called ahead on a Friday night to see if they'd make the glasses while we waited. They said yes, so we rushed down in traffic, picked out the frames in record time, paid in full and were THEN told that we had to pick up the glasses the next day. Not happy, now means TWO trips to Natick Mall, find parking, etc. This place costs more than other optical shops because they tout "while you wait" service, but then they don't deliver. read more

Had an exam last year and everything was fine. I got contact lenses. Wanted to schedule an appointment for this year and they had no record of me being there. The associate told me that she found my chart with a form in it but nothing else and b/c they got a new system, there was nothing she could do to help me. I even spoke to a manager and they were not willing to help me much. Needless to say, I will never go back. read more

While Dr. Sehgal and her employees are fantastic, the staff service at Lenscrafters when I went to purchase 2 pairs of glasses after my exam was nonexistent. I stood for 10-15 minutes while they discussed their current relationships and dinner plans, staring one in the eye and at the back of the other employees heads. I ended up leaving and purchasing my actual glasses immediately from another vendor. read more
