Check in was easy and fast and inside is updated and clean. Plenty of parking. You will do usual eye check in stuff like measuring eye pressure and vision check. The only difference I had with this place was they didn't do dilation. At the end of appointment, they told me that retinal imaging isn't covered and i have to pay out of pocket after exam was finished. It would've been nice to let patients know ahead of time to choose either dilation which is covered under insurance vs retinal imaging for convenience but not covered by insurance. Ended up paying for $40 dollars for the scan and checked out in an hour. Overall staffs were friendly, but the experience left bitter taste in my mouth.

Amazing Service Experience Yesterday, the screw holding one…read moreof my eyeglasses arms on fell out. Obviously, I can't wear the glasses without the screw in the arm. I tried several repair kits, but none of them had the right-sized screw. I thought perhaps there would be an eyeglass store in Woodinville that might be able to help me. Fortunately, I picked The Optik. I sent an email as well as a text to The Optik. Approximately 20 minutes later, I got an email back from an associate named Lilly. Her email was very pleasant and inviting, so I drove over. A sign on the door indicated that they were short of staff and there might be a wait, but I didn't have to. Lilly was sitting right at the desk. She recognized me as I walked in. She took my glasses and said Please sit down and make yourself comfortable. I'll be right back. Who does this nowadays? In about 10 minutes, she was back out and said that she wasn't able to find the exact screw, but she did find a screw that she cut and used to repair glasses. Remember this: I had no appointment. I had not purchased my glasses there, and she didn't know me from Jack. I haven't had better service from anyone in the past few years than I received from her. Thank you to Lilly, and thank you to the owners at The Optik, who hire the right people with the right attitude and training. If you need new glasses or a minor repair, like I did, I highly recommend that you go to The Optik.

I wish I could give this business ZERO stars! Or even -5 stars…read more I had a HORRIBLE experience there.... I've been a frames & lens customer there for a couple years with no problem until recently. I ordered my glasses & lenses June 23rd, 2021. I waited 3 weeks for them to come in, despite the receptionist writing down they would be in in 7-10 business days. When I called to inquire where my glasses were after 14 days, & pointed out they had said 7-10 business days, the receptionist said she never said or wrote that on my receipt! I have the receipt for proof. She denied it was her who helped me but I clearly know who I worked with! Does she think I'm blind & dumb??? When my glasses finally arrived, I went to get them & she refused to let me in to make sure they fit right or were comfortable. Everywhere I have ever purchased glasses has done a fitting to make sure they were right! I went to my car, go to put on my new glasses & discovered they had ordered the wrong frames! I went back & asked if I could keep the wrong ones until the right ones came in & this same receptionist told me they couldn't do that. Now keep in mind again, they will not let you in the office. They come unlock the door, stand guard through the crack & lock it behind them while they check on things. You're left standing in the sidewalk until they come unlock & crack the door to talk to you again. So I left with my old, wrong prescription glasses & STILL waited, 7 WEEKS later now, for my order. I called the end of July asking where my glasses are & the same receptionist now told me "special orders take longer". THEY WEREN'T SPECIAL ORDERED! She also told me that I could come get the wrong frames & use them until the right ones come in! When I asked why she had initially denied this request, she claimed the conversation never took place & denied she would have said that. Does she think I'm deaf too??? This woman is a flat out liar. How she's managed to remain employed at Bella Vision Woodinville is beyond me. How many customers does she pull this act on? There is no "corporate office" to contact, all Bella Vision in Redmond did was give me the "General Manager's" email. I emailed her, basically this post, and have never heard a word back from her. Go figure. Communication with this business is zero. Ironically, after I emailed her, my frames MAGICALLY showed up today! This twit receptionist claimed she left me a voicemail that they had come in.... She also claimed she'd left me a voicemail giving me the status of my correct frame order. My phone rings just fine, and I receive daily voicemails. There were no calls or voicemails from her. She lied again. Fortunately, I was finally able to pick up my glasses today. This time, she let me in & made sure they fit correctly. Ironic since she refused to do it originally. I will never go to Bella Vision Woodinville ever again & I caution you not to either. There's a reason they have so many bad reviews.

Everyone in the office is friendly, nice and patient, and really welcoming! I had a bit of an issue with the new Retina camera (I have sensory issues) as it emits a very high pitched noise (think camera flash charging, but the sound never stops and it's really loud) and they were sooo gracious and patient with me. Incredibly understanding! They let me husband in with some earplugs for me, and I was good to go! They had no issues with understanding this and letting him bring them in for me. I'm also a contact lens wearer, and have gotten many fittings here, and just ordered my first boxes of contacts from them last year as well, and it was great! I got my first pair of glasses done by them last year, and omg I'm in LOVE with them. As a previous patient of Costco, you couldn't pay me to go back there, or anywhere else (they've messed up my glasses so bad, they're unwearable, so I wasted a lot of money) With Comfort Vision, you get what you pay for, and that a very high quality care of your eyes and eye health! They're incredibly detailed, and through, and they really want to make sure you understand what your benefits pay for, etc. Thank you Dr. Nguyen and staff for all that you do, and taking care of your patients so well!

my experience was just as awful as MattS and Anna and all the other bad reviews…read more first i want to respond to Matt's experience. I was an optician for years. i was TAUGHT to spend as little time as possible with the people that come in on welfare or use Apple insurance, in other words , where the state pays for their glasses. When i dispensed my first pair of " WELFARE GLASSES" - I did it just as you would with ANY OTHER PATIENT. say hi, greet them with a smile , have them sit at the dispensing table, ask their name and get their glasses. have the patient put them on, and then fit them. so they stay up on their face. so they are comfortable. i always try to make sure my patients had fun. I MADE THE EXPERIENCE FUN. AS much fun as getting glasses can be. i did it with a smile. i adjusted them so they fit comfortable and gave him a case and a cleaning cloth. when I was done with my first "welfare patient" , my boss pulled me aside and explainexd to me not to spend any extra time with THOSE KINDS OF PEOPLE. just give them the glasses. when I asked why he said- "because we don't make any money off THOSE PEOPLE, so don't spend any extra time on them." yep. AND I heard this more than once in my 20 years as an optician! thankfully not all places act like this. TODD place DOES. he is listed as the owner. he doesn't have to treat people this way . he chooses too. it's not a LAW or even a POLICY that you cant be nice to EVERYONE. no one says you HAVE TO BE RUDE to welfare patients. that wasn't part of my testing to become an optician. Todd's behavior was BLATANTLY RUDE. HE went out of his way to be AS LAZY AND RUDE AS HE COULD. when we walked into pick up my nephews glasses, TODD recognized my nephew. he grabbed the tray of glasses and tossed them at him on the table at him. he knew what he was doing. i don't think he knew- I knew what he was doing tho. i know. i see you Todd. he did as much as he could to make this an unpleasant experience for everyone there. i had some questions to ask about various hi index lenses, but he would only gIVE me some of the info, not all of it. he kept cutting me off. so I had to keep dragging the answer out of him. one question at a time. again, he knew what he was doing. he was being as unhelpful as he could. that's when he started arguing with me. when I said that I'd heard about him and his behavior already, he started getting even LOUDER. HE KNOWS. then he started talking over me. he was just short of shouting at me. i really was blown away. and I said I can't BELIEVE , YOU ARE GOING TO YELL AT A CUSTOMER. ARE YOU KIDDING ME ??? this guy is ARROGANT and RUDE. HE THINKS HE IS BETTER than these people that are on welfare. he makes it very obvious that he feels this way. I've seen it before. here's the thing TODD, you don't know why these people are on welfare and it's really NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. IT CERTAINLY ISNT YOUR PLACE TO JUDGE THEM! who do you think you are ???? you know nothing about them. one of my patients was an MIT GRADUATE, but suffered a stroke at the age 25, he'd been school mates with the KOCK BROTHERS. At MIT. his life was totally derailed by an unexpected stroke. some of my patients were born with neurological injuries, due to the fault of the doctors. some were paraplegics from sports injuries. these people aren't losers. these are people that are struggling in this life. the last thing they deserve is to be mis treated. i saw you do the same thing to a little girl when you dispensed her glasses. they were OBVIOUSLY TO BIG. she going to spend more time pushing them up becuase they are to big and lose than she will spend time looking through them. you adjust them. you can't just ask someone if they fit. you need to LOOK. you need to see. when they are just standing there in the office, doing nothing, of course they fit. it was like you don't want to touch these people. your behavior and the way you treated us today, tells me what kind of person you are. rude. small minded. seriously TODD, WHO CARES if they are on welfare. who cares if the state pays for their glasses. WHO CARES !!! how does that affect your life at all? It Doesn't. you still get paid. change your perspective dude! you never know how life is going to turn out for you. your life can change in a SECOND due to no fault of your own. obviously you have a problem. many other people had the same problem with you. your the common denominator here. be nice. don't try to justify this. that just looks even worse. it would just prove my point even more.
