I recently had cataract surgery and my Rio Ray prescription sunglasses I bought thru the VA were unusable. I ordered replacement lenses thinking I could just pop out the old lenses and pop in the new lenses. Wrong. I went to Sunglass Hut and they tried but couldn't do it. They recommended LensCrafters. I walked in to LensCrafters and talked with Ryan. Boom. Slam. Boom. She had the lenses in in less than a minute. I asked how much. She said no problem. Fee of charge. Can I give this place a 1/2 star? This place sucks! First selection is not what it use to be. Second if you have nothing else to do and want to sit and wait and wait and wait then this is your place. They have one associate sitting and talking with two women and sweetly taking her time. Finally another associate comes in and she directs him to someone else. Could not tell whether she was there before me or not. Did she apologize for the wait HECK NO!!!! Guess now the phone call is more important. I have been waiting 45 minutes. The staff was very attentive and the customer service was impeccable. I am always looking for great customer service so I am attentive and watch how the employees work with customers. David helped me and engaged with me as soon as I walked into the store. I told him what I was looking for and he pointed me in the right direction. Horrible, horrible, horrible place to go get contacts. They couldn't even give me more than one pair of lenses because the lack of supply. Charged me $125 just for a check up. If I could give less than 1 star I would. However, the reason they received the 1 star is because the general manager provided a full refund due to their constant mistakes. We went here to get my sister a new pair of glasses, we already had the prescription just needed the perfect frames. Well she found the ones she loved so we paid and was told they would call when available. They called the first time and we went and the glasses were not put in the frames correctly so they said they would resend them out to correct the issue. We came back the second time this time right frame but the lens were not placed correctly so their were waves in the lenses and my sister couldn't see them correctly. They offered to resend again and we came back today and again they put them in the wrong frame and the prescription was off. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. read more

I made an appointment during the storm that they canceled due to closing then was offered a 6:30pm appointment and thought all would be fine well I ended up with a 5:00pm appointment only to call and say I would in fact need the original appointment to be told oh were closing early So when did you plan on telling me that? I said well that is wonderful I was going to drive over there to only find out you closed and didn't even bother calling me!!!!!! This location is terrible. Went to get lens replacements and was greeted by an associate who had food on her mouth and holes in her shirt. She was very unprofessional. She told me to come back because there computers were down and when I did they were still not working. I wasted my time there and I promise I will never be back. read more

For several years, I have used LensCrafters at this location. Initially, the service was good, and I always purchased the insurance. My glasses broke, and my daughter went in before the deadline/expiration of the insurance. They could not replace the frames since they stated, the specific frames were not available. For some reason LensCrafters could not, or did not send off for them to be replaced. My daughter called me from the store, and the person assured me that I could come in at anytime, and choose what they had available since my frames were not. Well, I went in some time later, and they stated the insurance had expired. When I asked for the corporate address, the customer service person or manager went into the computer, and when I contacted customer service the notes are no longer in computer, per customer service. I concur, I wish a 0, or a negative star was available. Absolutely shameful, and disappointing! Beware, your insurance may not be honored by LensCrafter, and if your frames are not available, be acutely cognizant that this may be a delay tactic. read more

I went to Lenscrafters because my glasses broke on the left side of my frame. I told the associate there that I had insurance and that I did not have a whole lot of money to waste on glasses because I was going to get contacts but in the meantime I just needed a pair of glasses to get me through for the next two weeks. The store associate then guided me over to the Polo and the Christian Dior section where the frames were between two and four hundred dollars. I again told her that I was looking for just a cheap pair of glasses to get me through the next two weeks. I finally found a cheap pair of frames that I didn't really care for but again they were just going to be a spare pair of glasses. Whenever we go to ring up the sale all the sudden this $110 pair of frames was going to cost me $491 and change. I did not understand the discrepancy in the price since I have insurance and my lenses were only supposed to be $50 and my insurance pays 80% of the cost of the frames. She proceeded to tell me that it was because of the lenses that I chose which had all the bells and whistles on them. So I told her once again that I did not want all of that on my lenses I wanted a basic pair of glasses. She then proceeded to take off some of the extras that she applied herself after I was very adamant that I wanted just the basics. The price did drop however it only dropped to $291 and change. So again I ask her if the frames are only $110 and my insurance is paying 80% of that and my lenses are only $50 where in the hell is she coming up with this $291 from. She then proceeded to tell me again about the lenses that I was getting and how they were impact-resistant etc etc. So I again told her that I wanted the basic glasses for the price that was quoted to me through my insurance. She got a little bit irritated with me because I was not trying to spend an arm and a leg on some glasses I don't plan on using for more than a few weeks other than a backup pair for after I get home and remove my contacts. Then I was told my glasses will be ready in 2 days. I drive for a living and explained to her that until my glasses come in I will be out of work and missing out on all of the money from the days that I am out. She assured me again that they will be ready in two days time. I called after the the two day period was up and was told that my glasses were not ready and that they did not know what had happened to them and that hopefully they would be in tomorrow. Needless to say I was pretty hot under the collar because I had to explain to them if I'm sitting at home I am not making any money. I typically go to another of their competitors to get my glasses and I have always got them the same day. I had told her then that I should have just gone to where I always went and I wouldn't be dealing with this issue. They assured me that they would be there the next day. The next day came along and again I call to find out where my glasses were. She said that they were not there and she did not know what was going on with them that she would call the lab and find out. She said she would call me back within 10 minutes and let me know. It was over two hours later before I ever heard anything back from them and they gave me some bull-crap story about how my lenses more difficult to make and that it required extra time. My lenses were the basic plastic lenses single Vision the easiest of all the lenses to make. Their advertisement says that they can make any lens and get it back to you within 2 days no matter how difficult the prescription. So I am here again waiting on these people to open so I can try to get my glasses for the fifth day now. I have missed out on $600 for this week's check because I cannot see without my glasses. The customer service at this place is absolutely terrible. And I had the same experience as the last person who reviewed this place. I walked in the lady was stuffing her face at the counter and acted like I was bothering her by coming into their storefront location. I can promise you this now I will never and I repeat never go back to LensCrafters at this location or any location ever again. I would rather be blind than give my hard-earned money to these people ever again. I hope that whenever you read this review it sways you in the direction of another company to get your lenses and frames. read more
