I also had trouble understanding the pricing and had to keep asking questions just to get basic information. The manager's attitude was unprofessional, and speaking to customers on speakerphone in front of others was inappropriate. I asked to be taken off of speakerphone. In the end, I had to call the corporate customer service line, where they provided a solution that the store never mentioned. Customer service and communication at this location need significant improvement.

Dr. Tran saw me right away and treated my problem. And since I was traveling overseas the very next day and she wanted to make sure I will be fine, she gave me her personal contact information. They welcomed me, and asked me to fill out my new patient paper work. When I was done, and went back to the front counter there was a lady that I believe is the Office Mgr, I could barely understand her, but she made it seem as if this photo option that was not covered by my insurance was not an option, so I agreed to it, she said "okay only $39 more". So then I was called back by Sharron, which further explained the photo option that was not covered by my insurance. I decided that I did not need, so I opted out of doing it, she said fine but you should consider it next time, and explained the benefits, I said I sure will. Then here comes the Office Mgr saying "he's doing it!" I said no I'll consider it next time. That was sorta awkward, how she was trying to up sell this option. But Sharron was the super star that made me super comfortable. Dr. Chen is extremely personable, and knowledgeable of his craft, he explained all my options, and gave his recommendations. Overall I had a good experience, and would highly recommend this place because of Sharron, and Dr. Chen.

My appointment was at 2 and they didn't see me until 5:30. so frustrating. They also assumed i was a different client with out asking me. I was recommended here by a client recently. She had many good things to say about this place so i thought i would give it a shot. My experience here was grand :D. Not only did they see me with in minutes of my appointment time but they were all very nice and professional as was the building. The optometrist was very knowledgable and the process was swift. Unlike my previous experience elsewhere. Got my exam done and picked out new glasses and was checked out all under 45 minutes. That was last wednesday, and today (monday) my glasses were already available for pick up. I love my new glasses! they were even very helpful in assisting me in finding a new pair. Im the type of person that needs multiple opinions before i purchase something. LOL. Overall I will definitely be a return customer here and highly recommend this place.

The issue is customer service, Benjamin really just is not very friendly or helpful. I'm not going to drop that kind of money at a place that really did not seem to care if I purchased anything or not. Just be aware they don't accept insurance, which is also not a deal breaker as I have purchased glasses from other boutique optical stores that didn't accept insurance, as you won't find the cool frames like these at a chain. You never want to take your sight for granted…read more For those of us that don't need glasses, sometimes you tend to forget how vital they are for others. By the time you get around to making an appointment, you end up having to wait another two weeks for your prescribed glasses to arrive. Not here though. You get your glasses the VERY SAME DAY. And they are open on Saturdays! (Backstory: My poor nephew lost his original pair of glasses and ended up wearing an old pair that lost an arm. I wish I could have captured the moment on video when he put on his new pair of glasses: instant excitement and gratitude). We live 30 minutes away but we'd make the drive again just to give this awesome husband and wife team some business. To be transparent we did pay out-of-pocket since his insurance doesn't renew for another 5 months but the price was quite reasonable and competitive compared to other optometry offices. Besides, can you really put a price tag on same-day vision?

Get it ready before you decide to go! TIME SAVER!! Some of the brands they have: MK, Coach, Versace, Bebe, Rayban, Tom fords, Nike, Lacoste and a few others. Sometimes this can be uncomfortable and people tend to limit themselves from trying on multiple glasses, however I believe the staff makes it extremely comfortable for anyone to try on multiple styles. This is solely the reason why I came back to WP was mainly bc of the customer service, and they treat everyone equally. I believe all of their eyewear are gender neutral, and they have so many inexpensive styles! They even will happily fix an old pair within minutes. Checking out for a new Rx glasses is a breeze and I'm shocked at how easy it is. I was literally in and out of the store less than 10 mins as I knew the exact pair I wanted, as well as getting an old pair fixed. This store makes it so convenient to shop for glasses!

I think I spooked the nurse!…read more One of the front-end nurses--I know I'm a little awkward in public (social anxiety), so I come off a little high-strung. I was asking a question about something mid-conversation and she jumped a little. xD If she ever reads this, I am SO sorry! I say all of that to say that the experience at Dr. Nguyen's office was nothing short of amazing. The least you expect from a doctor's visit, especially for the first time, are A) a courteous staff, B) patience when it comes to any kind of reluctance with their gadgets, and C) a doctor who is willing to coach you all the way down to the decimal with your prescription. After being known for some of the best eyes in the family, Dr. Nguyen and her staff made me aware that I have astigmatism just like my late aunt. The process: the nurse led me to the testing area, where I looked at a graphic of a farmhouse inside a machine. Then we moved on to the "infamous" blower to test my eye pressure; this is when a puff of air is blown into one eye, and it wasn't anywhere near as bad or scary as people make it out to be. Next was the eye scan. They weren't doing dilations (drops) due to the pandemic and I was in too big of an emergency to get on a waiting list, as eye fatigue at the computer is what brought me in. So I took the $40 eye scan, which consists of you looking closely into a scope while a green light scans the back of your eye for problems. It's nothing like a harsh camera flash, but staring at a fully-lit laptop screen for a split second. The nurse took my family medical history and soon after, in came Dr. Nguyen. BEYOND hospitable, Dr. Nguyen had me cover each eye as I read the eye chart on the TV in the mirror (new-school!). I did pretty well in my right eye, but in my left...that glare I've noticed for the past while ended up being astigmatism. Tightening my mask around my nose to avoid fog, she mated me with the refractor to see what kinds of lenses I'll need. After answering any and every question I had about glasses, my vision and everything going forward, I paid in the front and EXCITEDLY went to Visionworks next door to try on styles for my first pair of prescription glasses. My takeaways are that I've needed glasses for a good minute and just didn't know it, and the eye fatigue from work at the computer was the final nail in the coffin. Overall Dr. Nguyen and her team were the consummate professionals and helped me a lot in this new phase of adulthood. I highly recommend her to everyone in the area, as well as the staff at Visionworks right next door since they have a really good selection. I actually can't wait to come back for a checkup.

I am former patience of her from her last location where she practice. I called the last location, and upon making my appointment I informed Dr. Lara N. was no longer there. Although, the office was nice enough to shared which company she was partnering up with, but location was not mention. I started my search. With a simple click and the magic of Google, Cypresswood Eye Care popped up. I immediately made my appointment with Dr. Lara Nguyen new office. The biggest reason I chose to stay and follow Dr. Lara Nguyen: her honesty, passion for her work, and genuinely care for the health of her patients. Scheduling: On time. Informative: Yes. Vision Source still exist but some are independently now from what I was told. More of this business has opened up all across town now. What ever happen to those Pearl Visions, seems to be fading away slowly too. New wave of eye care here. Similar to most Optometrist offices. Dr. Terry was knowledgeable at her job and had good recommendations for my vision. This is a busy place, same staff but different name and same customers.
