At this point, they said another 5 days. Do I cancel or wait? In the 26 years that I've worn glasses, I've never had this issue or length of wait. Very disappointed with JCP! 1/17/15 - Turns out, it took 40-days to have my glasses ready. Way too long. To try to say that they were 'sorry', JCP sent me a $20 gift card. Frankly, I am insulte$1 per day that they were late. They should have discounted the services, as that is what they lacked in. Not going back to JCP.

I have been wearing glasses since I was 5 yrs. old, and Rigid Gas Permeable lenses since I was 16. Let's just say that's been a few yrs. - like 51. I have seen several optometrists over the yrs., and I have never had as comprehensive of an eye exam as Dr. Ardiss did. I was there for an hour, and she tested everything: eye pressure, cornea, vision, and practically my pulse! You get the idea. I have a very strong Rx, and a sigmatism, -15.25 glasses, and a little less in contacts. So, I have to wear RGPs. At this level, it's a struggle to get really good vision. But, she thinks she can really help me. She's doing something that I have not even heard of - she is going to contact the company that makes the contacts, to warranty them. That way, after we get the contacts, if they are off even .25, they can increase or decrease the power and get another pair. Amazing. I've never even had a Dr. that had me come back to see how my contacts fit after I've gotten a pair! And, she asked me, with my poor vision, if I ever thought of elective cataract surgery. I never even knew that you could elect to have the surgery - however, it's at your own expense, insurance won't cover it if it's elective. And, to top if off, she is having me get my old Rx from another Optometrist (I won't even go into THAT experience!). She wants to check the curvature of my current contacts. Again, a first for me. She hit it OUT OF THE PARK! I've been struggling to find an Optometrist that is reasonable and good. She's not good - she's EXCEPTIONAL! SHHHHHHHHH, don't tell anyone, she may get stolen away and I love to do business with Penneys! Thanks Penneys, you never disappoint!

Initially J went for vision treatment after a TBi and the treatment I received was outstanding! So, I decided to go back there a few years later when I needed new prescription for glasses, even though it's a bit of a distance. No regrets! I feel like every person in the office, not just Dr Detmer -Stone, who is fabulous, took great care of me and were highly professional! Now, I went to pick up my new glasses. I asked the technician if she would clean my old glasses because they had so much dirt and grime on them. I don't think she was thrilled with the idea and asked if I meant to take the lens out and I said "yes". She did it and cleaned them so nicely. Now that's service!! Thank you team at A New Vision Center!!

Celia at the front desk was very helpful when I was filling out my insurance info and paperwork. When I did my eye exam with Dr. Robert, he was so helpful and so patient with me and was very informative on different options. Out of all the optometrists that I have seen in the past, he has been the best one I've gone to. I can tell that he really cares about his patients and I am so glad that I found this place through my work. After I got my eyes dilated, I hung out a little bit and looked through glasses trying to find ones that fit my face. I am very petite and I have a very small face, and I always get glasses in the kids section. The person working that evening was so patient with me and so very helpful. I wish I got her name, but she had short curly hair and it was brownish blonde I think. I felt like she went above and beyond to help me find frames that sit comfortably on my face. I didn't feel rushed at all. She even went to the back a few times to try to find other pairs that might fit me. Overall, I had the best experience here and will most likely come back for my future eye exams. I love the staff and I love how they made me feel comfortable and cared for.
