Typically, I fly to San Francisco to…read morego to my eye doctor as I have been going to her for years and she knows how to deal with my phobia. Sadly, when I went this year, she was unavailable and the clock was ticking as I could lose my health insurance at any moment. I received an email from Visonworks regarding a special for frames, and a link to make an appointment so I thought I better act soon.I had very low expectations when making my appointment and was very apprehensive to visit an unknown doctor. The entire experience was positive from the time I walked in, until I left with 2 new pairs of glasses. First of all I discovered, they have new technology where for an extra fee you can avoid having your eyes dilated. They have a new machine they use which allows them to see into your yes without dilation. This was the best $39 I ever spent. Eye drops are one of the reasons I hate the eye doctor in the first place. This was a welcoming relief for me. Then I went into the exam room with Dr. Bo. She was great, and the exam was relatively painless. The real cherry on top of my whole experience was Jessica, who helped me get my glasses. She was an absolute joy to work with. If it wasn't for the grump behind me wanting service I could have stayed all night talking with her. She was so much fun, and had such a good heart. I had to refrain from not giving her a hug when I left. Sorry Dr. Kennedy, I think you have been replaced.

Never going here again.

I selected rimless glasses, and they took my measurements, but a few days later, I received an email saying I could not get them because of my vision challenges. I selected another pair and was texted a note saying my glasses were being made, but they were not. They also told me I would have to pay for them. I wrote back saying I had already paid. They said that I had paid $60. NO, I paid $605. Weeks passed. I kept sending messages telling them I had already paid. 3 weeks later, they told me they had not started making my glasses, baffled, as I had given them my second selection. 3 weeks after ordering, they informed me they would return the money to my account, but they never filled the order. It is now close to a month later, and I still have no glasses, just email upon email from me trying to explain I paid and to make the glasses I selected. They seemed confused and returned my money, admitting they had not even started to make them. They did not offer to expedite the order, they did not offer to compensate me, they just .... left. WORST SERVICE EVER. I took the prescription and selected rimless glasses on Eye Buy Direct and was charged half the price, and the glasses will be here on June 9th. This place created a lot of stress for me, a downright mental breakdown, and I have been without decent eyeglasses for weeks. I hate this place.

I seem to have to switch eye places every year to get decent customer service. I did not even know…read morethis spot existed and happened upon it doing a Google search. I was impressed with their location, hours and availability. I was able to get in the day after looking them up which was perfect. The person helping me was phenomenal - so real, open and honest. I wear contacts a lot at times and I wear glasses a lot at times. My eyes are sensitive. I see perfect for close/reading but am practically blind at distance. I've worn the same contacts (Fresh Look color blend grey) for THIRTY YEARS so I am a bit attached till just now when they stopped making them. I have had several glasses places trying to make money and switch me to another contact lense. It has been a thing... This person listened, recommending a lense that is another monthly, cheaper than the Fresh Looks and ordered some samples for me to try out because my eyes are sensitive and I do not want to commit to buying boxes for a lense I hate. I also was able to get samples of some of the colors so I can try those at home instead of that pressure, CHOSE NOW like most places. She was amazing for the exam and also helping me chose glasses so that in the end it was $300 for my exam and glasses which are a super thin glasses - I need that since I have an EPIC prescription so I have gotten glasses before I genuinely can't wear because they hurt my sinuses due to the weight of them!! These glasses are so cute and comfortable to wear. I also can get a MAJOR discount for another pair that they will give me for a bit of time so I plan to do that for sure when I get some more free monies! They do take vision insurance too! I went in to do my pickup and genuinely all the people I have encountered here not only want to help you but when you tell them what you want, they genuinely listen. That is so uncommon these days so I appreciate businesses that have staff that care and want to help you.

ABC Vision refused to bill my insurance because it "took too long to receive payment last year". This was never communicated to me, and had I known this I never would have returned to ABC for an exam. The lack of communication and disregard of patient health is unacceptable.
