Retail staff at this location lack customer service. During my purchase, the team members carried on their own conversation the entire time. A few days later I got a text saying, "Your new glasses are ready at LensCrafters. Stop in anytime. See you soon!" I went straight to the store, and the lady at the front desk said she couldn't give me my glasses because an optician wasn't present. This was my first visit to LensCrafters, and it was unfortunately not a great experience. The associate mistook me for another customer and charged me the wrong copay amount. After completing the online paperwork, the front desk worker didn't explain what to do next, which made the process confusing. I was told I could browse and look for glasses but wasn't given any directions on how to try them on or a tray to place the ones I liked. I had to ask someone for help before getting any assistance. During checkout, the associate didn't go over the prices of the glasses I selected, and I was charged for the eyewear protection plan without even discussing or agreeing to that option. I'm not even sure they used my correct vision insurance plan. Overall, my visit felt disorganized and lacked clear communication. I hope future visits will show more attention to detail and better customer service. read more

They need a complete change in staff. The employees there are lackluster and seem like they don't even want to work. Customer service is terrible both in person and over the phone. I was told my lenses would be done in two weeks, it is now four weeks and going and still no lenses. I usually deal with high-end boutique stores but I went to LensCrafters because I was gifted Ray-Ban Meta glasses and was told I needed to get my lenses there. I will not be using the store again. I will gladly pay more for glasses and lenses for better customer service, better selection in glasses and fast service. read more

I selected a pair of glasses at the Fayette Pavilion location and afterwards went to Ft. Lauderdale for an 8-day vacation. The frames that I selected were stylish, but the frame was maladjusted and hurt the bridge of my nose and ears. So, I requested a refund since there were no other frames that appealed to me and their company policy allowed an exchange or refund within 30 days, if the customer is dissatisfied. The manager processed the refund AND I LEFT THE GLASSES WITH HER. Well, the next day I went to another LensCrafters located in Peachtree City. There, I selected a new pair of glasses and the staff was very helpful. However, my insurance wouldn't cover the cost because the manager at the previous store reported that I never returned the glasses! The inference is that I had stolen them after getting the refund. Lie! Lie! Lie!!! Well, my insurance, refused to release the funds for a new pair because they apparently bought the story that I stole the original glasses from the first store. I WAS EMBARRASSED BEYOND ANYTHING YOU CAN IMAGINE. The next day, I went into the Peachtree City LensCrafters store, with my husband who works for the Sheriffs's office, to see if the problem had been resolved only to discover that it hadn't. So, later, I contacted the manager at the Pavillion and she told me the problem had been resolved and that my Insurance company (Blue Cross/Blue Shield) released the funds, so I could now pay for the new glasses/frames at the Peachtree City location. She offered NO APOLOGY for my inconvenience and for falsely classified me as a thief! Fast forward, I contacted several attorneys but they were all out on Holiday vacation. None returned my call, so I was still fuming, To release my pent up anger, I resorted to YELP! My own insurance company could've at least contacted me to obtain my side of the story since I pay them $162 a month from my social security check. By the way, the manager at the Pavilion is a tattooed white woman and I'm African American. Even the technician at the Peachtree store said the manager should've looked better before assuming I stole the glasses and reporting it to my insurance company. If I had been a white woman, she probably wouldn't have been so quick to pull the trigger. Luckily, this issue was resolved before the hand struck midnight, ringing in a New Year and the loss of my deductible benefits for 2023. read more

I called and they told me that my glasses were shipped to the wrong department and they were unable to put my lenses in. If I didn't call I would still be waiting. Procedurally, everything was fine. What I didn't appreciate was Dr. Parti's "bedside manner". This woman felt comfortable enough to chastise me, stating "I just looked at your age... you know better!" I had to bite my tongue to keep from hurting her feelings, and had planned to tell her about herself at my follow-up visit when I could be more calm. Unfortunately, COVID closed the place before I could schedule it. The other part that irked me was when I was trying to schedule this follow-up appointment. Due to their hours for this service, and the fact that I would be at work, I had to push my follow-up out a little longer than recommended. The young lady at the front DID advise no more than a week. As the interaction is coming to a close, Dr. Parti walks herself up to the front to check on the appointment and I advised that I would come back in about a week or two. Dr. Parti looks at the young lady and scolds her about giving wrong info, which she DID NOT! I definitely corrected Dr. Parti then. You don't do things like that in front of people. My family has been coming to this location for over eight years. I don't wear glasses or contacts but my son wears both and my daughter generally wears glasses for driving or working on computers. Over the years, I feel like the staff has grown with my family and most times we experience a great level of service and have a few laughs to go along with the service. A small thanks of gratitude that we are insured, cause the cost of glasses is nothing to sneeze at. They have lots of low end price selections and some high end designer selections also. My prescription was off. However I did not know this until I actually purchased contacts. I did receive trails but was told the trails would not be too off from my original prescription. I had 6 mos worth of contacts prior so was not in a hurry to buy. Obviously when I ran out it was at this time I ordered my prescription. 6 mos later. No problem don't buy things until you need to. Nonetheless new contacts. I can't see ! And because I was told they'd be close to the trails I did not worry to think I could not see. I was wrong. And now I need contacts. A young lady walked and and said she was there to pick up glasses and she was also told the same thing as me. In January, I made an appointment for an eye examination. I explained to them that you needed an examination for glasses and contacts. I did not purchase glasses and the time and explained that I would return for contacts. No one explained to me at the time I would need to purchase contacts or that I would have to pay for additional screening if not done within 30 days. Came in this morning for both an exam for glasses and contacts. Appt was at 10am I completed my paperwork and picked out some frames and was off to the back.everything went smoothly and quickly. Before I knew it I was picking up my glasses and heading out! All completed before 12pm! I'm mad I hadn't visited this location when I lived in the area a couple of years ago. My husband and I both had eye exams today. We've been coming to this location for years and the service has been mediocre. However, when we came in today it was like a new store. The customer service was excellent. We were checked in and even though my husband had an appointment on another day they let us both get our exams today. Check-in was great but that was just the beginning. Dr. Vo was our optometrist and she was absolutely the best. She explained some details about the exam and the results in the most thorough manner I've ever had. My old lenses were progressive and I had never been told that. I had an eye exam 8 years ago and was told my prescription was for distance only. She also explained some interesting things about eye pressure, what the nerves should look like, how she's seen an increase in clogged ducts since mask wearing became a daily thing, eye moisture and some other questions we had. It was the first time I left the eye doctor feeling like I had a better understanding of my vision and how to keep my eyes healthy. Lens Crafters on Camp Creek is definitely one of the best places to go if you want more than a quick in-and-out eye exam. They really take the time with you to explain everything. read more

I went to this location about 2 weeks ago ordered and paid for glasses. I called today to che k on them and was told that someone would call me back. About 20 minutes later someone called my phone back and noted that my glasses were ready for pickup. I drive 45 minutes to get to the store straight after work to pick them up. I sat in the lobby for 40 minutes before someone even acknowledged my presence. I was only acknowledged because I stopped someone. After stopping someone they lady went in the back to look for them and noted that she could not find them. She then asked for a manager. The manager, Samantha, came up and was very rude to me from the beginning of our interaction. She told me that I was crazy no one called me. She noted that she was the only one making calls and there was no call made. I showed her my call log and her attitude became nastier. She told me that she could give the money back but that I would have to contact my vision insurance and tell them that I don't have the glasses because she won't be doing it. I proceeded to ask her why I would be asked to come up here if my glasses were not here. She went on to say that she had no idea. Then she noted actually my glasses were on back order. I asked why I had not be informed of that she got nastier. Rolling her eyes and outwardly showing her displeasure. She eventually noted that she would not be giving me my money back because she did not like my attitude. I called the police and they told me they could not do anything the went in the back and had a private conversation with Samantha. Samantha apparently told them that she wanted to file criminal trespassing charges and I was asked to leave the store without my money. I was so appalled at the way I was treated by this company I get glassss from then every year and I will no longer be a customer. I think Samantha should be dealt with her attitude was appalling and outright disrespectful. read more

I would not recommend the Camp Creek location. I recently visited there for an eye exam and have never received such poor service. I have had several eye exams within my life and always had my pupils dilated during the initial visit unless I felt unsafe to drive afterwards. This doctor required that I come back for a 2nd visit. If I had unlimited free time, that would not have been a problem. I do, however, have a life and don't believe I should keep running back to a doctor for something that is typically done on the first visit. It was also difficult getting through the exam as the doctor had a serious dental hygiene issue. If you're thinking about getting your exam at this location, think again! read more

Doctor Ellison was very personable and attentive but the wait time was too long for a Saturday. I also made appointments online that were not honored. Both my husband and I should have been seen at 3 and 3:15 but were not seen until 4:30 and 4:45 due to walk ins coming in and the staff assisting them before us. The funny part is that I got an email from this store stating that they "were sorry" I missed my appointment lol! I declined the fancy scratch resistant, you-can-see-better-at-night" stuff that makes the glasses cost $100 more and the retail associate seemed bothered by that. They told me the glasses would be ready within 10 days even though most are done within 24 hours, due to me not wanting the fancy lenses. Which is weird as I would think basic lenses would be easier to make, but anyway, as of today I still have not received a call or message or anything about my glasses being ready when my original appointment (when I also paid for my glasses) was 11 days ago. I paid them nearly $200 after insurance and I would think they could call to give an update on the status of my glasses. It is unfortunate that this location has such poor service. As of right now I have been on hold for an update on my glasses - for ....8 minutes and counting. I was considering going back to them next month for contact lenses but will go to another location and not Lens Crafters at all. Due to the fact that Lenscrafters is a franchise, so to speak, you will always find hit or miss service, particularly in the Atlanta area. While I've visited this store before, and things seemed to go okay, my most recent visit has produced an abomination of results. What I paid $125 for was an eye exam for a proper prescription for both glasses and contacts. What I got was neither. The prescription is off, and after having already returned once, it is still off. Since I've lost confidence in the ability of this store to do the job, I requested a refund (so I could go to EyeEtc in Little Five), which they have steadfastly refused to grant. While I've tried explaining to them the basics of capitalism -- an exchange of services for money means you have to produce the services or grant a refund -- the staff tries to muddy the waters with all manner of disconnected justification. It's not their fault; I'm sure they're following a script. In the end, a store that takes your hard-earned dollars, and fails to deliver, then withholds the refund to which you're entitled, is nothing short of a thug in a corporate cloak. read more
