I had another great experience at Walmart Vision Center. My contact prescription had expired and I…read morefelt like my vision had changed a little bit too. I got in to see Dr. Sparks and everything went great. I'd forgotten how much I like him. He is very professional and makes sure he covers everything. I have recommended him to many people. As far as the staff, everyone is so sweet. They all made sure to greet me. I had Bob take care of me the last time I was at the office. When I was in this time I asked if he was there. They told me he was no longer there. If that would help you try them again. I have found vision care is hard to find in the Destin area.

First, let me say Dr Sparks is excellent. He is the Optometrist and his business is separate than…read morethe Optical shop. The optical shop was professional and very helpful. HOWEVER, when I selected my frames and lenses, I was told my insurance would cover part of it, and I would need to pay the $140 difference. I was agreeable to this and purchased the glasses. A couple months later, I received a bill from Walmart Health for an additional $141. I called the optical shop and after some research, I was told my lenses were higher than the quote I was given in the store. I have no way of determining how much my insurance would pay toward my frames and lenses. I rely on the retail shop to inform me of my out-of-pocket costs. To tell me t'sone price, then charge me twice the amount, is classic bait and switch. Do not but glasses or lenses from Walmart Vision Center unless you're ready to pay whatever extra cost, able what the insurance estimate was at the time of sale. Better yet, just buy frames/lenses elsewhere. But see Dr Sparks as your Optometrist.

Dr. Laird was so sweet and kind, and made sure she explained everything to him and how the testing worked. We just went to pick up his new glasses yesterday and they were so friendly and sweet, and worked with him to make sure they were fitting him properly. They even were able to replace a nose pad on my sunglasses. Would recommend a 1,000%

On June 28 I ordered prescription glasses from Vision Hub on Eglin Pkwy in Fort Walton Beach. They…read moresaid it would take 7-10 days to come in. Paid $626. by Visa debit. I received the glasses on July 17. Within a week one of the lenses fell out. I went back to Vision Hub and they made an adjustment. A week later lens fell out again. Finally on 3rd time they ordered new glasses on August 12. On September 3 I went to Vision Hub to ask about my glasses-have STILL not come in!! An employee told me a manager was not available but he would be sure to tell them I was pissed, and someone would call me back. September 4-I went back to Vision Hub, told same employee-OR ANYONE- has called me back. He told me the regional manager was coming in tomorrow(September 5) and would be bringing in my new frames- not what I was told was ordered on August 12! It is now September 5. No one has called me back-ever; I STILL do not have my glasses-I don't know for sure the new pair, a warranty replacement, was ever in fact ordered. I told the employee I was done with Vision Hub, that just wanted my new glasses-or my money back- and I will never spend another penny in that store!
