I stopped in to have my sons glasses repaired. They were super helpful and really helped me out in a pinch. We are visiting from out of town and my sons stem almost fell off due the screw almost completely falling out. They repaired them and cleaned them up and bent them back in to perfect shape. Real life savers in a pinch for us. read more

This is my 2nd year coming to this location. First year I had an awesome experience. Staff was and is super friendly. They made me feel like I have been part of this location for many years. The place is clean and organized. All my questions were answered by the Dr and staff. The frame selection was good many choices. This is my new shop. read more

I dont know about the other reviews, If you are entitled and expect people to be polite to you, they will give you the same energy... I actually went in here perterbed because I was not aware o had to waive out of the eye diltions, costing me extra, and it made me extra bitch and conplainy, but the new staff alexis was very bright and nice. Polite and attentive all the way, giving me kudos on which glasses looked best on me. Great service and smiling staff. 10/10 read more

Amazing team and great customer service! Definitely coming back to this LensCrafters :)

The LensCrafters at Macy's on Broadway is a joke! My husband and I went get glasses and contacts there and were so disappointed. The service is atrocious! Not only did I have to follow up because they had neglected to call to tell me the glasses were there, but I was never able to get the contacts I needed. To make up for it, they gave a bag (yes, a bagful!) of contacts that they claimed were my prescription even thought I was unable to see clearly with them. I later found out that the contacts they gave me all had expired dates on them. The key of this review is that neither my husband or I got accurate prescriptions on our glasses and I am still without contacts! read more

Had the best customers service with Monika and Vince! They went above and beyond on Customerservice! Thank you !

I took my glasses in for minor adjustment and they broke them. Even worse they tried to hide the fact that they broke them. Now they want me to pay to get new lenses since my frame is discontinued. The manager, Isaac Ortiz, 619-397=5762 says that accidents happen and its their corporate policy to not assume any responsibility for damages they cause. This policy wasn't conveyed to me and while i have spent hours waiting in the store, sales reps were still telling customers that they could bring back their classes anytime for adjustments at no cost. without citing this policy. This was the same thing i was told. This is a disgraceful business practice! read more

I would like to seriously compliment Monica .. I called your location looking for non prescription contacts.. most of the places I called or visited were dismissive in my requests. Monica went way beyond and gave us an exact location I could find the contacts even giving me directions!!!!! We found exactly what we were looking for !!! I cannot express my gratitude for such an amazing customer experience!!!!!! read more

This is by far the worst eye glass place ever. First I went into this location and asked do they accept my insurance (VSP) I was told yes...I was never told they were out of network by neither of the people that assisted me. After being charged a arm and a leg I came home and thought about the cost which seemed pretty high. Then noticed I was charged for my frames and only got a small discount....of course because they are out of network. I reached out to my insurance company who told me this is a normal bait and switch for LensCrafters. They tell you yes we take your insurance but NEVER tell you they are out of network. You as the customer have to specifically ask them are you in network or out of network. At the end of the day I cancelled my order with Vincent who I found out is the store manager (interesting because he is also the person who told me they take my insurance) he did offer to refund me very quickly as I assume you should if your doing this bait and switch RIGHT?!?!? Please confirm with your insurance if this particular location is in network before going into it. You cant trust the workers to be honest with you at all!!! read more

This Optometry office also has an office in Plaza Bonita Macy's, so the O.D. has dual offices and prospective clients need to also see this review. My vision was still blurred after I wore my new glasses over a week. He did a re-exam and I had a re-do on glasses, but still blurred. Third time the O.D. said Rx was correct and emerging catarack may be the issue, indicated he could do no more for me. Finally after several more weeks of blurred vision, went to another LensCrafters, got a new Rx, re-did glasses and now I can actually read street signs again. I've asked for a refund for the exam, but was refused. I highly suggest not using this location read more

This is by far the best place I've ever gone for my progressive prescription glasses! First, they have a great selection of frames. Then, the lenses are available in a polaroid option, which creates a bright and crisp image with more sun protection. But the customer service is really why I choose to write a 5-star review.. Vincente, the manager, went to great lengths to get my prescription adjusted to create a seamless flow from far to near--just as though I had perfect vision without the glasses. Thanks to his skill and willingness to persevere, that has actually been accomplished, and I have vision now that I can really trust whatever I'm trying to see. I love it that he was so patient and understanding about the process and didn't charge me a dime more for all his trouble! I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends! read more

I purchased glasses from this location last July with a prescription from my regular optometrist. I gave them the prescription and they told me my prescription had not changed from the last time I got glasses with LensCrafters. For several months I noticed I could not read close up, but I attributed it to not being used to the progressive lenses. Well, I just had a check up with my regular Optometrist, and he said the prescription on my glasses is way off. I double checked that I provided the correct info to LensCrafters. My prescription had changed, too. It was not the same as the clerk at LC noted. Also, it was already a bad experience because they did not fit my glasses when I picked them up. I called a week later to ask if I could have them fitted, and they said no one was available to fit them, and they did not know when anyone would be available that could do the fitting. I ended up going to the Bonita location, and they were not very friendly there, but they at least did the adjustments for me. read more

Was not happy at all. I was told about the eye exam and they mentioned the eye scan, which I told associates " no, I don't need that". However, I was still given an eye scan, not understanding or knowing at the time that it was an eye scan that I was given and charged. Thinking back, one my first eye exam at Mid-West, they specifically asked me if I want an eye scan and explained what it was so I agreed. They were extremely clear of the services I was receiving. With Lencraters, they did not ask me specifically prior to the scan they just mentioned it which I said, "I didn't need it". Again, they did not ask me specifically if I wanted an eye scan but gave me one anyways. When I was charged for the scan I told them about the situation and they played it off and told me "at least you know you don't have anything wrong". So that tells me they knew exactly what they were doing, they purposely don't ask if you want to pay out of pocket for eye scan, but "'mention" it only. The customer has to be specific and say "no" for which they don't give the customer any chance to say yes or no...an absolute total scan. 100% scam. read more
