It's the cleanest place and best service I've experienced in the NYC area and it was certainly worth this Brooklyn gal's trip to Long Island! The one thing I can't stand about doctors visits and healthcare experiences in general is how poorly the staff treats the patients and cleanliness of many of these facilities. If I see any staff member treating patients with no respect or not having 'patience for patients', it annoys me. This place-- the COMPLETE OPPOSITE! The bathrooms were clean and didn't even smell like bathrooms-- how common is that?! What?! The receptionists greeted me when I walked in the door. I turned around to see who they were talking to, but nope, it was just little 'ole me standing at the entrance. They were talking to ME!? Oh dear, I felt so special-- well I am! Lol They quickly checked me in which included a self-check in with their iPad-like devices and I wondered how they would work for some of their senior patients that didn't have grandkids giving them daily lessons on how to use the internet or and tech gadgets... One elderly patient kept asking questions about how to use the device and how to answer a question on the e-form. The question may have seemed obvious to others but he continued to walk up to the gentleman at the front desk multiple times for his help. You KNOW I was paying attention to the gentleman's face to see how patient he was with the patient. He helped him each and every single time, actually showed him what to do and smiled each time. Many medical facilities don't have the patience or simply care enough to be KIND to patients and have empathy for their health circumstances. The bedside manner was great! They are thorough in answering questions and explaining the procedure, and guess what? The assistant even held my hand as the radiologist performed my exam to make sure I was okay and not in any pain! I'm telling you, these other radiology centers in NYC aren't doing this-- I've been to almost all of them! This facility seems to have a diverse patient network and it feels like they treat us ALL the same-- with care, no matter what age, race, gender, etc. The radiologists realized I needed an additional test and got her staff on board to help me get fit in for a same day appointment and all I had to do was show proof of referral from my doctor. They got me in and out of there with the testing I needed to help my doctors and I make the best decision. I commend them for having a great deal of empathy for their patients. We already don't want to be there and it's stressful enough for us to even have tests and wait for results, but Zweger-Pesiri makes it SO much more comfortable for us. What a peaceful process!

My daughter scheduled a open sided MRI due to severe claustrophobia and drove an hour to Freeport…read morefor this machine. When we arrived the tech tried to convince her to use a different machine stating all the reasons the other machine was worse (no music, can't turn your head etc.). My daughter was upset and asked me to come in-when I questioned the tech she admitted that "she had other people who needed that machine". My daughter tried the more closed machine but was unable to do it-the tech was nasty, rude and condescending. Clearly annoyed she said we could wait for the other machine-we left realizing this place was not somewhere you could relax and but yourself in their care. DO NOT GO HERE-wasted a week of diagnostic time but found a caring facility that understands patient care. A sad excuse for a health care facility.

They scheduled the appointment in a location that couldn't do the test? This past Wednesday, I left work early for my appointment (originally scheduled in December), and you guessed it - they asked to reschedule AGAIN! I was already at the facility, they had already taken my payment, and I was sitting in the Women's Health waiting room when they told me the necessary staff wasn't there! My scan is not 4 months overdue! Furthermore, their communication system is excessive, and I've been bombarded with text messages, voicemails, and emails - all are impersonal and redundant. I'm done with them. Please NEVER use Lenox Hill -Go elsewhere for your scans and tests. Your health is worth driving the extra miles to a better facility.

It was a quick 5-10 minute wait to get imaging, I spend it usually munching on free snacks in the waiting area. The MRI was state of the art, and I got my imaging without a hitch. The the care from the medical staff was amazing each time and they were able to answer any questions I had. I got my results two days afterwards. Just make sure that if you are sending your results to your provider, have the CORRECT fax number or else there might be delays. Overall, out of all of the places I've been to for imaging, I recommend this place the most.

The tech that performed my ultrasound was absolutely wonderful. Explained everything to me. She was…read morepleasant. She was knowledgeable. She was quick. But I have two messages on my phone from Lenoxhill telling me to be at the facility at 7:10 AM for a 7:30 AM ultrasound. It was so I can fill out the paperwork which I did online. So I get there and the doors are locked. The sign on the door says they open at 7:30. A woman who works there open the door at 7:15 and I asked her what the deal was with the sign and why did you guys tell me to be here at 7:10. She proceeded to tell me that that's just a Robo text and they don't know what is going on. I said yeah, but that's not my fault that has to be changed she goes. I don't make the rules all the while giving me dirty looks and raising her voice to match mine. I understand her frustration because she probably deals with this every single day. So I realize that it's not her fault and she's frustrated, but I was frustrated also.

My appointment was scheduled for 2:45 , I got there at 2:30pm the office was busy. Each time they came out with a folder , I was hoping they would call my name but they didn't. After about an hour I was finally called into the exam room. I had an X-Ray done onsite., 10 mins later Dr. Gerber came into the exam room. Dr. Gerber has good bed side manner. He looked over my MRI reports that I brought to the office as well as the X-Rays. He was attentive and offered several treatment options, I didn't feel pressure to my decision. referred me to a great physical therapy place. Although my visit with Dr. Gerber went well , I would probably see him again at a different location.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! If your doctor orders a sonogram and tells you they are able to do it in…read moretheir office, please make sure to ask what company they work with. If they say the company is Rapid Diagnostics, do not agree to have your sonogram done in office. Ask for a script to be sent to Zwanger or any other place you have gone before. My mom's primary care doctor ordered a pelvic sonogram and it was done in their office by this company. Days after I get a call saying that my mom needs to follow up with her gynecologist. I ask why and the doctors office says to just follow up with the gynecologist. The primacy care doctor sends the report to the gynecologist. We schedule a call and speak with the gynecologist and he proceeds to explain the results of the sonogram. He starts talking about my mom's uterus. I Interrupt him to ask what a hysterectomy was and he tells us that it is the removal of the uterus. I tell him that my mom had a partial hysterectomy. My mom and I are now nervous trying to understand what is inside of her that looks like a uterus? The gynecologist says, don't panic, we will repeat the exam to make sure things are ok. I get a copy of the Rapid Diagnostics report and read all these measurements and details about my mom's uterus. I call the primary care doctor and try to get answers and I get no help. I decide to call Rapid Diagnostics to get answers and I am just told to speak to the primacy care doctor. A couple of days later, I get an EDITED report saying that my mom doesn't have a uterus and that the technician wasn't told that she had a hysterectomy. My mom was so scared wondering what was happening. No one cared about how she was feeling or showed any empathy aside from her gynecologist. He was the only one that cared about how she felt and took it upon himself to verify the results by performing another sonogram. Thankfully the second sonogram done by her gynecologist show everything was great and there was nothing to be worried about. Please learn from my mom experience and do not allow any test to be performed in your doctors office if they say that they have partnered with Rapid Diagnostics. This is not a reputable company. Do not trust your healthcare with them.
