New favorite pizza spot ! I've been lagging on trying this pizza place because as a plum resident I always resort to Foxes or Vocellis in holiday park. However , that has now changed. I tried both the traditional red sauce and the sweet red sauce. Both outstanding but I will for sure be purchasing the sweet moving forward. I also purchased the wings seasoned. As "wing dings" these were a decent size and pretty meaty . I ordered it online and went inside the shop to pick it up. Service was prompt even though I can tell they were busy with the phone ringing off the hook! Good attitude while busy is always appreciate , I respect the grind ! The inside looked like a traditional pizza joint with tables , little decor with a pretty unique pizza picture on the wall. I have high hopes this place will continue to deliver good food but I will keep Yelp updated if I come across another experience with this spot. 5 stars for now ! Lauren and I popped into LeLulo's Pizza in Plum after hearing they'll be at GoodTaste! Pittsburgh's PizzaFest on June 1st. Naturally, we had to get a lil preview for ourselves. Lauren, ever the responsible adult, grabbed a salad to balance out the carb avalanche that was about to happen. Couldn't be me but I respect the sentiment. We ordered the Splittsburgh 18" pie--basically the mullet of pizzas: business on one side, party on the other, joined together by glorious, garlicky knots. One half: buffalo chicken (a spicy, creamy dream). The other half: our own creation with sweet sauce, pepperoni, banana peppers, and mushrooms. Both were fantastic, and those garlic knots? Absolute flavor MVPs. My mouth is going to taste like garlic until the end of time. But wait--there's more. We also tried the pesto melt, a sandwich that redefines cheese pull goals. Think: gooey cheese, fresh tomato, bright pesto, and a balsamic drizzle that ties it all together. Oh, and it comes with beer-battered fries that deserve their own fan club. GOUDfam, you KNOW how I feel about those fries. Sherry (shoutout!) came out to tell us about this month's cheesecake, inspired by those nostalgic strawberry shortcake popsicles. I've had Lelulos before, it was a good pizza all around , but this time was different. Do not get the two for 26 pizza deal. Obviously whatever they serve on the day they have this deal is not the same as what they serve daily. Completely different pizza from what I had before. It was like they cooked the pizza as a cheese pizza and forgot it was pepperoni, and then threw the pepperoni on top. Basically every single piece of pepperoni was loose all over the box and fell off of the pizza. Little to no sauce which is ridiculous, little to no flavor and was basically like cardboard with a cardboard crust!!! You'd think when it came to the deals, they'd serve you the quality they promote and not the bs after all that money she " won " recently and stealing all that money from people who needed an actual roof for their homes. read more

This place has gotten quite popular on social media in local circles, so I decided to give it a try. I went with something pretty basic to test them out: a regular white pizza with a side of ranch sauce. It was a nice pizza. Definitely satisfying but nothing too crazy. Do keep in mind the prices are a bit higher than in some other places but I believe the quality is higher as well. The crust is not too thick or too thin. They use quite a few different vegetables for this pizza, like fresh tomato, garlic, and spinach. It's very flavorful. They also give you butter complimentary. I like that it's not too much of a greasy mess, as they aren't too too heavy on the cheese. The butter sauce is not my type but it's high quality and I enjoyed the ranch. All in all, a very solid spot for higher quality pizza. The more unique pizzas are what I'll try out next, but the white pie is respectable. read more

This is def a tough review for me... So for two years or so i have been following this place on socials... and i always thought they looked very good... the deep dish looks amazing and the other pies look fantastic... well i finally decided to give it a try and here's what i thought... First of all the interior and set up is really clean and a cute little family restaurant i highly give them a thumbs up... a decent amount of seating for a small place, arcade machines, tables, and booths and cute decor... The staff is great very friendly and does a excellent job I got the Stromboli with sweet sauce which was really good although my only suggestion would be is more sweet sauce it tasted good from what i could tell... cooked perfectly... pepperoni was good, and sausage was the itty bitty ground up pieces i prefer thicker slices or chunks but that's all personal preference... i would give the Stromboli two thumbs up it was excellent.... I also got a small extra cheese pizza.... With traditional sauce.... It just tasted bland and lifeless... crust was good cheese tasted fine but it was just very average and maybe it's just me not liking the traditional sauce... idk what it was i just wasn't impressed it wasn't awful i guess i had it overhyped in my mind... again it wasn't horrible just not great... i would try again with the sweet sauce tho In all this place isn't bad and i may have just ordered the wrong sauce on the pizza... I'm def not knocking it as the rest tasted great... and again service was great just from the pizza i had it was average.... I've been following Lelulo's Pizzeria on Facebook for a year or so, maybe a bit longer. Every day they post something absolutely amazing looking and the owner seems to be cool AF. Shout out to all the amazing women owned businesses out there! Tonight I was finally in the area at mealtime and stopped by. OH MY GOD was the food good. I will gladly drive 40 minutes to get this now and then and to take all my guests there. If you want some incredible food, RUN!!! Run to Lelulos! Garlic Knots absolutely buried in minced garlic. Spinach and artichoke dip with house made chips with some awesome seasoning A Not Your Boursin fried chicken sandwich with such an amazing flavor combination. Pepperoni Pizza with the thickest pepperoni I've ever had in Pittsburgh and it still cups and crisps! And this amazing square of cheesecake to try later. Also the coolest wall art ever! What can I say about this place? We'll... it's never consistent...you might get a good pizza and you might not. I've had burned pizzas... I've had raw pizza. Don't bother....it's expensive and a crap shoot. Now let me weigh in on service. If (and I mean "if") you are able to get through on the phone, it's inevitable you'll be out on hold...I understand that, but courtesy is minimal and I mean minimal. Now the owner...I went to pick up a pizza and out front was what I thought was a homeless person sitting in front of the store by the door... WRONG...it was the owner having a cigarette. More than once I've walked into the store only to be ignored by the 'staff' even though I was the only person there. Lastly, Lelulos pretends to be family friendly, but have sexually explicit pizzas on offer for 'Valentine's Day's and their posts on Facebook are less than family oriented. read more

My family and I had visited the previous location a few times, and we enjoyed the experiences and pizzas a LOT. The owner is cool but friendly and seems to be an excellent role model for aspiring entrepreneurs as well as being very involved in helping the local community. Recently I got a chance to visit the new location. It is within earshot of the previous location, but significantly larger with table service and an expanded (but not ridiculously expansive) menu. The prices seemed to be in line with a sit-down restaurant more than a pizza place. I grabbed some Mac & Cheese to go, and when I opened the takeout container, I was underwhelmed -- maybe even a bit disappointed. But ... that taste! It was extremely delicious. And there was more than enough food for one person's lunch. I was very impressed. I definitely recommend this restaurant. I plan to visit it again if I can, probably as a dine-in experience next time. read more

Been a regular for a long time pizza has been really average the past 4 times we went I don't know if the recipe changed or what customer service there is always average to below average. It's best to make a pick up order. Been wanting to try Lelulos for a while and this afternoon's special was my opportunity. They have a lot of last minute specials if you follow them on Facebook. The lovely Kelly picked up two pies, both 14" medium, 8 cut, one plain, one pepperoni. The pepperoni were the cup type, a little greasy but high quality and tasty. I kept pulling pieces off the pie to eat more! Ordered the traditional sauce which is on the sweet side, a thicker sauce and I liked it. The cheese had a parmesan first taste (maybe from a sprinkling on top) and it had the right amount of cheese. Crust was thin, nice and chewy and wasn't floppy. While my favorite crusts come from wood/coal fired ovens, the oven bake on these pies was standard oven fare (no flavorful char on crust or bottom). Only difference on the plain pie was it was a little light on cheese but I'd rather have less than too much. Overall, very good, will definitely try some of their other pizzas and make Lelulos one of my regular stops. read more

Anyone who has issues with this place is just looking to be negative in this world! Lelulos pizza with their sweet sauce is honestly one of my favorite pizzas I've ever had. It's so good. They literally get it right every. Single. Time. I have yet to have something we don't like. We order online, and it's seamless. I've also called in, and again, seamless. I'm greeted instantly. Our food is always ready and hot. And they never fail to ask if want garlic butter sauce - thank god for that! Dont pass on it! IF we ever have left overs, we freeze the pizza for another day to get our fix, and to be honest, it's just as good reheated! This business also is always giving back, which I love! Lelulos has my favorite pizza in Pittsburgh. The bacon & pineapple pizza is an absolute delight. The garlic dipping sauce is also spectacular, I could drink it. I have heard great things for a while and I called up and asked about specials. They had a two pizza one topping special. I got that. I got there sooner then the order would be ready but went in and paid. Pizzas were got and looked great! When I got them home and we went to eat we noticed they were a little undercooked which is what held off the 5th star but everything tasted really fresh and the sauce flavor was great. I was asked when ordering if we wanted original or sweet sauce and now I'm intrigued as to what the sweet sauce tastes like and difference it makes. The cheese was flavorful and not overly oily. We got pepperoni on the second and it was the little pepperoni that turn into cups. It was a tad oily/greasy but man oh man did it taste good. I'm not close enough to here to make this a more often eat but will do so when we can. I look forward to trying the other items on their menu! Overall I would recommend giving them a try if you're looking for fresh flavorful food. This place is totally worth the hype! If you go soon, you can catch their awesome Christmas decorations too. The service was quick and very friendly. Everything we ordered was so good. I was a big fan of the Chicken Bacon Ranch specialty pizza, but a member of my party had lots of good things to say about their macaroni and cheese too. The garlic knots aren't what you'd typically get from a big pizza chain -- they almost have a donut-like texture and are SUPER garlicky -- but they're worth a try too. It was food. We had been driving for a few hours and were in the mood for pizza. When we arrived we ordered a cheese pizza with traditional sauce and some garlic knots. The pizza sauce was way too sweet and the knots were burned. Waitress was nice and atmosphere was good but the pizza was terrible. I'm a huge pizza lover and this was the worst. After one slice I informed the waitress I was ready to go. She asked if anything was wrong and I said I just didn't like it. she apologized and still charged me the full $20 for the buffet, so $20 for one slice of pizza that I didn't even enjoy. We went to Lelulos after church today. We arrived around 5:10. We have ordered takeout before and it was always hit or miss. We had not dined in yet in their new location, so we thought we would give it a try. The place was pretty full. One waitress was serving all of the tables. She was great! no issues with her at all! Our food took over an hour to come out. Once it did come out, the pizzas had a really weird taste to them. Like a plastic taste. My pasta was $19 dollars and it was cheaply made with steakums steak.
