We also split a charcuterie board, which had the perfect variety of meats, cheeses, fruit, and accompaniments to pair with the wines. The staff was incredibly friendly and genuinely eager to help us find wines we'd enjoy. There was also plenty of easy street parking just around the block. We'd definitely come back!

The service was a bit slow and the waitress would forget to take our empty plates/clear off the table and it took a bit of time to get our check even though we were the only ones eating at the restaurant. She was nice though! The charcuterie board we ordered was good but it would've been even better if they offered a board that included both savory meats and fruits/cheeses. I didn't like that they only had one charcuterie board option with only meat and some pickles/olives/cheeses but no fruits. The steak sandwich looked a little sad and flat, and the gyro didn't have enough lamb meat inside, was mostly just pita bread. Regardless it was still delicious. The Margherita flat bread was good too, wish it packed some more flavor. For the price of the items I just expected more. The best meal we had was the lemon raspberry cake. Wow. Spectacularly awful. If you like cold (and I mean COLD)…read morefood and pretentiousness this is the place for you. Now I will say the Tomato toast and the cherry sour drink was good. However, it started going downhill when a dish was brought out by a runner before any of the other dishes and was set on our table without silverware. She left without bringing silverware and it would be a full 5 minutes before our server was able to be flagged down to get us silverware. We noted that this dish needed to be refired and brought out with the remaining dishes. After 15 minutes more the rest if the meal came out, and you guessed it, the original "needs to be refired" dish came out 5 minutes later. My wife's pasta was cold. Not lukewarm. Cold. Think I just opened a can of chef boyardee's and poured on a plate cold. It was disgusting. Oh and the "refired spaghetti" (buttered noodles) was also cold. The chicken parm (which their version is deep fried chicken) was warm but unseasoned and the breading was oil sogged because the frying oil was clearly not hot enough. This place gets 1 star. My favorite part was when the runner was doing her makeup in a mirror behind the hostess stand in the middle of the dining room. At a price of $183 for two for pasta this place needs to rethink their workers, their menu, and how they are going to keep attracting people. Started with the skillet, Lodge cornbread. It was amazing and delicious. Although hard to recommend it because it is so filling you're not gonna be able to finish your entrée I bet. Maybe the best skillet cornbread I've had! For our entrées, we tried the margarita flatbread, the chicken pesto Bellagio, and the Cajun ribeye with a loaded baked potato. The flatbread was a bit disappointing, but the other two were pretty good. The steak was cooked medium rare, as ordered, and had a very good flavor. The chicken was tender and juicy and had a nice sauce.

We were seated and had a view of the pond or water. Our server, Bryn, brought us a few glasses of bubbles to start while we looked at the menu. Bryn gave us some good recommendations, and we went with the Redstone breakfast. Redstone is known for their ribs, so what else could I choose? I selected a full rack of ribs, and the meat fell right off the bone. They had the perfect blend of BBQ, smoke, and tanginess. The sauce was not runny and stuck to the ribs. I didn't even bother with the fries. The coleslaw was mediocre and was lacking in flavor, but the ribs were heavy. We had a few glasses of wine to quench our thirst and relaxed and had great conversations as we caught up. Bryn checked up on us and made sure we had all we needed and provided perfect service. The bathrooms and restaurant areas were clean, and there was tons of free parking in their lot.

The pour-your-own wine concept is honestly so much fun and super convenient. We shared a charcuterie board that was amazing and loaded with a fun variety of things, perfect for snacking over wine with friends. There really isn't anything else quite like this in the Twin Cities. It somehow feels like you've escaped Minneapolis for the evening, which makes it such a fun spot for a night out. The wine selection is great, and the food is surprisingly really good too. They also offer lunch and brunch options with sandwiches, salads, and of course their charcuterie boards. The mushroom flavor was the standout for me. It also arrived with a breadstick that had a distinctly Fazoli's-esque vibe. I did not dare eat it. Overall, I'd dine here again. I ordered a strawberry bellini and breakfast burrito (it is super nice that they serve breakfast until 4 pm)! The burrito came with a side of breakfast potatoes which were crispy and perfectly salted! The breakfast burrito included rice, eggs, cheese, and was topped with sour cream, salsa, beans, and green onions! I also ordered it with vegan chorizo added! I found it to be filling but not too heavy. If you're looking for a saucy, greasy, super mind blowing breakfast burrito, this isn't it. We ended up with Jerry as our server, and he was a very good server and genuinely nice guy. He was a great person to have handling my first visit to Kincaid's. I liked this place a lot. It was easy to get to, parking was easy, and I really liked that you can park right in the parking garage. The atmosphere has that cozy, slightly older-school steak and seafood restaurant feel. It feels upscale without being uncomfortable. My partner wanted the Calamari and had no complaints at all. He ate the entire thing himself since I don't eat calamari. The table bread was also good and came topped with garlic butter, which gave it a nice savory start to the meal. I went with the prix-fixe menu and chose the Caesar Salad followed by the 8 oz Sirloin, adding the Caramelized Shallot & Roasted Garlic Butter. The Caesar was good and wasn't too heavy on the dressing. They also add a little citrus to theirs, which made it taste a little brighter and fresher instead of overly rich. The Sirloin was good and was cooked the way I asked. Since I added the butter, they put the Demi-Glace on the side. It came with mashed potatoes, carrots, and broccolini, and everything on the plate was good and delicious. The Shallot & Garlic Butter added some extra richness and flavor without overpowering the steak. We also shared the White Cheddar Mac & Cheese. It was good, but honestly it tasted more like really buttery noodles than a strongly cheesy Mac & Cheese. The flavor was mild and very buttery. That's not necessarily a bad thing because buttered noodles are still good, but I was expecting a little more White Cheddar flavor. My partner chose the Clam Chowder and Crab Stuffed Salmon. He said the Clam Chowder was really good. He also enjoyed the Salmon, although he thought it was a little overcooked. It was still something he liked overall. We both had the Dragon Fizz, a zero-proof drink with coconut, dragon fruit-lime, pineapple, and club soda. It was one of the drinks Jerry recommended, and I'm glad he did. It was fruity, refreshing, and lightly tropical without feeling like I was just drinking a regular soda. We finished with the Crème Brûlée, which was also good. It had a great crisp sugar crust on top with that satisfying crack, and underneath it was smooth, creamy, and exactly how Crème Brûlée should be. Kincaid's has officially become one of my favorites from my A-to-Z restaurant list. I definitely want to come back to try more of the menu, and I would happily ask for Jerry as our server again. Great first experience.
