The first person who…read morehelped me said it couldn't be done, but thankfully the gentleman working at the steamer offered to try his best. I let him know I would truly appreciate anything at all, even the smallest stretch. He was able to do just enough to make the hat fit perfectly for my dad, who hasn't been able to wear it for about five years. That small adjustment meant a lot, and I'm so grateful he took the time to help. My only recommendation would be to allow customers the option to take the risk on adjustments they're willing to try before turning them away. I completely understand the hesitation from the first employee, but sometimes it's not just about what you say, it's how you say it. A little willingness and kindness can go a long way with customers.

We came here because it was highly recommended to us. It's about 45 minutes away from us so we took…read morethe drive. My husband loves hats, and we've visited many stores and we always leave with something. I specifically wanted to get my husband a new hat for Christmas. We walked in, we weren't even greeted. There were about 5 people inside that looked like they worked there. Not even a smile or feeling of being welcomed into the store. It's a smaller shop so kinda awkward interaction if you ask me. No one asked us what we were looking for or if we needed help. So we browsed. A friend of ours was with us and found a hat and he ended up getting it shaped. But the man that shaped his hat seemed annoyed. Our friend had never purchased a tejano before, it was his first experience. How sad that this was his first experience because he was basically rushing him to choose his shaping. He didn't even offer a recommendations. I did notice a girl come in after us to get her hat shaped with a different person and he seemed very friendly and chatty with her. But idk maybe he knew her already so that's why he was nice. Point is, I didn't buy my husband a hat here. I wasn't going to give them my hard earned money for that type of service. I'd rather fly back to Texas for a better experience than come back here again. Horrible customer service. Also, we checked their hours online and it said they closed at 8pm. We got there at 4pm. But I think they were rushing us because they were going to close. How's that my problem? Lol Anyways I won't recommend this place. Take your money elsewhere.

This place is a scam. I bought my son a belt listed at $55. What boots did I buy?.. so the lady at the counter up charged me for one belt almost $30 on my sons special day. She could probably see that I was stressed out and she purposely folded my receipt so I wouldn't look at it right away. She knew what she was doing for sure! The best part is that the receipt say no cash or credit refunds!!.. . Of course they would up charge my card just to make me go back to get credit with their store. Absolutely a scam. I normally take these things to Things Remembered but was disappointed to hear that they only embroider their own products. After a quick Google search, we found Color Stitches! She's so knowledgeable and patient. She examined my machine and really took the time to diagnose what could be going wrong with it. It turns out there was an obscene accumulation of lint in a spot behind the feed dog which I had overlooked. She taught me how to properly clean, test and maintain the machine. She also told me about which needles to best use depending on the material I'm sewing as well as helpful suggestions like the use of a walking foot for slippery fabrics. Helle is an experienced sewist who has extensive knowledge and represents Moore's with such polish. We lost Joann's fabrics not too long ago so it's crucial that our community has a business which supports the sewing community in the way Moore's does. Do sign up for sewing classes or bring your machine in for maintenance at Moore's. They are a valuable resource for adults and children.
