Fun treat for my grandson and the staff helped to make a big deal out of the experience. Thanks

The greeter was excellent! Very nice, and polite, very helpful taking a few pictures for us. I will use you again definitely! Thank you for making the beginning of my daughter first trip to Maui a joy!! read more

i would not recommend this service. I had a lai reservation on Saturday at 3pm. When I arrived to my baggage claim, no one was there. I was standing around with my wife 30 minutes waiting for this surprise I paid for, and it never appeared. I already had my luggage, and still waiting and looking around. I contacted customer service and was told they were "short staffed and the Lei greeter was busy with someone else". This was an unacceptable response to an experience I paid for to be at 3pm. I waiting, standing, until my greeter appeared after about to leave the airport. This is not the greeting I expected. do not use them read more

Aloha! Long story short, my best friend was born and raised on Oahu.  He moved to the mainland after about twenty years on the island and it will always be "home" for him. I had the opportunity twice to return to the islands with him and each time was incredible.... simple... beautiful.... and an experience that was so magical it was hard to describe. On our most recent trip to the islands a few months ago, we received a lei greeting from my friend's mother and it started the trip on a very high note. A few months later, we learned a friend was planning on traveling to Oahu for the first time to get married and my friend and I thought it would be a perfect wedding gift to give her and her family a lei greeting like the one we had on our last trip. The ordering process was easy and super simple. I called to confirm the reservation since this was my first time as a customer and the customer service staff member who I talked to was incredibly nice and even took the time to go step by step through my reservation to confirm each of the details. My friend and her family arrived and were greeted with the leis we ordered. They had no idea the greeting would be waiting for them when they arrived. They loved loved loved the greeting and the lei greeter went above and beyond to welcome them to the island. I can not thank you and your company enough for making this such an awesome experience for them... and a belated thank you for making my last experience amazing as well. This is a must-do if you have friends or family traveling to the islands. I would highly recommend the lei greetings to anyone visiting the island. Again, thank you for everything you did to make both of my recent experiences just perfect! read more

The customer service and support was amazing! Our family ended up having to split travel days due to covid testing, with three different airline and date and flight changes, and Leigreeting was there every time. They answered the phone and changed our reservation several times. Part of us ended up arriving at 12:30 am due to flight delays and they were there!! Such a fun way to start our vacation after a couple of very difficult travel days. read more

Sanoe was our lei greeter - she was communicative on where to meet her and was very patient as we grabbed our luggage. She was also helpful in asking us about transportation or any general q's. Thanks, Sanoe!! read more

Our trip to Oahu started off perfectly with the sweetest aloha given to us by BERNARD right off the plane, welcoming us back! He was courteous, helpful, walked with us to baggage claim and told us what not to miss while during our visit. I always book a lei greeting whenever we come to the islands to put us in the right mood and to continue the great tradition of having lei made and being properly welcome to Hawai'i. MAHALO NUI LOA, BERNARD and to the staff at LeiGreeting! read more

What a way to start an amazing vacation!! It was a really a special moment for my wife and I, as it's our first time visiting Hawai'i. I wanted to surprise my wife, so that she could get an authentic feel for Hawai'i, and it was definitely worth it!! Thank you so much for making it extremely special for the both of us!! read more

I've been eager to write a review since I got here. I never thought in my life, I'd take a vacation to Hawaii. So, I wanted to make sure I cross off all the things I wanted to experience here. #1 arrive getting a lei at the airport. I wish I got the gentleman's name that was right in the front; holding a sign with my name. He had a big ol smile and graciously greeted me and applied the beautiful lei around my neck. Also placing a Hawaiian bracelet on my wrist. He also gave me a background history about the bracelet. However one thing I truly wish I did!!! But not sure if others do it. Tip him. I was so at "ahhhhh" with arriving, lost at where my luggage would be and worried about my friend picking me up at the curb. I felt bad cause I was in a rush mood. I wish I took more time to thank him and tip him. Thank you lei greetings and the sweet gentleman who made this lil moment possible, which will now last as a precious memory. read more

Would ABSOLUTELY recommend getting this! The person who greeted us ( sorry I didn't get her name because she was AWESOME) really gave us a great Hawaii welcome. She was sweet and friendly and very helpful. She greeted us with a wonderful smile and personality. After she gave us each our lei's, she also gave us a baggage cart for our luggage. She then helped us to the rental car pick up area. After a tiresome flight it was definitely a wonderful way to begin our vacation. Also, the lei's were full and very fresh. read more

They were amazing and so feeling. I would highly recommend them. We arrived in Maui and they were to greet us right on time.

I arranged this as a surprise for my family and it was perfect!! Mamo was so sweet and informative and the leis were beautiful and lasted for days (we just put them in the fridge). Highly recommend! read more

We live in Oahu and since it's summer, my husband and I decided to take our children ages 9, 7, & 2 to Maui. It's their first time on the island so I thought of giving them a little surprise upon arrival there. I also ordered my husband and I a lei just for us to experience it as well but my husband was not aware of this. My husband and I got the Deluxe Honeymoon Special while the kids received the Standard Orchid Leis. On our way down the escalator, we saw our Lei Greeter right away! We were behind our kids and it was so funny when the girls approached the greeter immediately upon seeing the sign with our family name! They were so excited and couldn't stop asking questions, like how do they know your name Mom? How do they know we are here? I thought that was awesome! The Leis were lovely, so fresh and beautiful, much more with the Deluxe Leis we got for me and my husband! Again, my husband wasn't expecting this but he loved it! Kainoa, our greeter was also very nice and friendly, he made sure we know where we were going, directed us to the baggage claim and gave us directions to pick-up our car rental. Overall, the experience was great! We arrived at 6:40am and being greeted with fresh flowers early in the morning was just very calming..it gives you that "good vibe" feeling that the rest of your journey will be fun and memorable and it was! I would love, love, love to have my family and friends experience this as well when visiting the islands.. this is a nice surprise! Thank you for the wonderful experience! read more

Jonathan was prompt with our lei's, and they were beautiful and fragrant. He proceeded to give us info from a native to help us enjoy out trip and even helped us getting our luggage to the ride share spot. We could have not been more pleased!! read more

Our flight arrived on time, but the lei greeting was not at baggage claim. They called an hour later and said they were at the baggage claim and we weren't there. They offered to deliver to my hotel, but it's not the same as getting it when you land. I'm sure they are reliable on the majority of orders, but they simply weren't at the baggage claim when they said they would be, so not sure how I can give any more than 1 star read more

Excellent delivery. Our greeter texted me when the plane landed. He was right at the baggage claim door. I was able to capture the delivery on video and my recipients were so thrilled. The leis are fresh and lasted longer than the ones we received at luaus 2 days later. read more

Very happy with their service! I called last minute and they fit us in! Arranging it was made so easy. The greeting was a surprise for my sister and the sign they made was large enough to catch her attention. The Leis were great (asked for kukui nut for the boys and tuber rose and orchid for her.). My sister said her Lei smelled wonderful. Pictures were taken. Smiles all around. Very nice experience. Would definitely use them again. read more

We were met by our host as expected. The flowers were fresh and gorgeous and the host was just sweet and gracious! She gave you the feeling that you were old friends or family. It certainly made for the perfect way to start out holiday!!! read more

This was set up as a surprise for the family upon arrival. LeiGreeting did a wonderful job. They were at the airport waiting for us and offered to take our pictures. The girls loved the flower leis and the guys liked the Hawaiian nut leis so much they wore them every time we went out for dinner. Thank you LeiGreeting for this special touch to our family trip. read more

The ordering process was very smooth, the greeter was friendly with a big smile, fillets were fresh and of good quality, and the whole experience went flawlessly! read more

Five stars for customer service. Our flight was cancelled & rebooked, and unfortunately for us there was a miscommunication that caused us to not receive the airport lei greeting. However, Jesse was extremely apologetic and was kind enough to refund the entire thing, and in addition our greeter delivered the lei to us on her own dime. Even though our original airport lei greeting didn't work out, I have nothing but amazing things to say about this company, and would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who is contemplating booking a lei greeting. read more

The experience was awesome are lays waited for us as our plane was over 45 minutes late and then another like hour and a half inside the airport and when we got out they were still there with the leis highly recommend the service it was simple and great read more

The greeter was extremely friendly and the experience was great. Four stars was given just because the lei is a little lack luster. I used to make better ones when I lived on the island. You are paying for the experience, so from that stand point it was 5 stars. Just would've liked the lei to be a little nicer. read more

I would highly recommend this company for a lei greeting in Hawaii. I called less than 48hrs. out and they were able to accommodate me. They had no trouble finding the people I had ordered them for and they loved the leis! They were boarding a cruise ship that day and said they wore them to dinner and the show that night and that everyone asked about them because they were so beautiful. read more

What an easy transaction. I book everything online. We got the kokua but and ti leaf Leia's. They where perfect and beautiful. The representative was right outside the gate as we exited the plane. She was very friendly and even offered us directions to baggage claim. I was concerned because this was a surprise for the husband and our flight was over 30 minutes early but they were there waiting for us. I highly recommend using this service. read more

They can do last-minute rush-order lei greetings!! I called at 5pm (after closing) - the Manager Jerrick answered and was friendly, helpful and a true life-saver. He spent a great deal of time helping me choose the right lei flower combinations over the phone for my family...just wonderful customer service. There is a $10 rush fee for orders under 48 hours, but I gladly accepted that- he had two orders ready for us for flights arriving in under 12 hours! The other companies that I admittedly called before I found Honolulu Lei Greetings flat out refused to place my order because it was so close to the flight arrival time. I'm glad these guys were able to help us out. We received five star service from this company and will definitely use them again! I edited this to say that their website was the most cell phone user- friendly of all the companies we tried - much appreciated! read more

Ordering was quick and easy online. Quality was great. My issue was the actually service day of. It was a girl with a board of 4 other people. We approached, told her our name, and she handed us our Leis, and unto the next customer. In the past the company I used would have a single employee, she would greet us, she would make sure we were good with out bags, and ensured we knew where we were going. This just seemed like a quick $50 for them. I wish I would have just waited and bought the Leis they sell right in the baggage claim. read more

Everything went very smoothly. The flowers are beautiful and fragrant. The greeter was prompt with big enough signage. My friend was surprised and very happy with her lei on her first trip to Hawaii. I would highly recommend. Mahalo. read more

Amazing welcome and greeting with a name card! What a special way to be welcomed to Hawaii! Our daughter loved it. I would highly recommend!

Very friendly staff. Leis were beautiful and super fragrant! What a way to start our 25th Wedding Anniversary vacation

Greeter was standing there waiting for us which is fabulous. Took pictures, etc. The only thing I did not like is because I ordered it Friday for a Saturday arrival, they charged me another $10 for "last minute" order. That's not fair as they did not tell you that when you order it. It was put on my existing order a couple of hours later. read more

I've read some negative reviews and I am sure that mistakes sometimes happen and everyone is not going to have a 100% satisfied experience. However, I ordered the lei greeting for my 30th anniversary and my party. They were all pleasantly surprised and very happy which in turn made me very happy. The greeter walked us to the baggage claim, assisted us with the bags and even took us to the car rental shuttle. She was nice, friendly and very helpful. I am sure you can buy the necklaces and lei cheaper BUT having them welcome you to Hawaii at the airport with them is a nice experience. It was very well worth it. I recommend this company! Thank you! read more

We had a last minute flight change from the mainland that actually brought us to Kauai a day early. With everything going on, we had forgotten about our scheduled lei greeting. We received a call from the company as they had learned about our flight change. They agreed to meet us there that night. We were completely exhausted after flying an additional 6 hours more than we expected to. We are forever grateful that our greeter was able to meet us and to create a happy birthday sign for our daughter. It certainly brightened up our evening after our marathon of flights, and she was super excited. We recommend this company to anyone looking to schedule a lei greeting at the airport. And we will definitely use them again for future travels to Hawaii. read more
