Great place to buy plants at cheaper prices than the big box stores. It is a bit out of the way on the north shore but it is a nice place to stop by if you're up there. The Alluvion Florist was amazing!!! She prepared a bouquet, a hairpiece and a boutonniere for us. Overnight the refrigerator was too cold and froze the flowers. We were scheduled to get married at nine in the morning. She was able to remake our flowers for us so I had flowers on my wedding! She also gave me a beautiful highly fragrant lei!!! Being on the mainland, it is hard to know if you are picking the right business for important special occasions such as flower delivery. Susan Matsushima was a dream to work with. She even texted photos to help me choose. I highly suggest using Alluvion for all your floral needs! read more

I got married on the North Shore and thought it would be smart to hire a north shore florist. I met with Susan and we discussed in detail what I wanted. Also while it's typical for a florist to come twice to deliver bouquets ceremony flowers first, and then return to do reception flowers, Susan refused to do two deliveries. On the day of the wedding, everything arrived wrong. The colors and types of flowers were all wrong. My bouquet was wild way too big. ANd some of the flowers in my bouquet were so old their petals were falling off. Not recommended for wedding florals. read more

Most of the mainland flower/fruit delivery options are not available in Hawaii so I ordered a plant basket from Alluvion, for a special occasion to be delivered the next day. it was delivered to my friend today right on time. Chad was awesome and easy to talk with on the phone, I just asked for orchids and birds of paradise and he asked me how much I want to spend and then put a beautiful basket together. My friend loved it! It is all replantable (except the birds). Delivery in the area was around 7 bucks and they added a small card. Chad even texted me a photo of the finished product prior to delivery. Highly recommend. read more

This company doesn't deserve a star at all. My sister who is currently residing in Virginia, ordered a bouquet of red roses and a balloon for my mom on Valentine's day from Alluvion's Florist. My mom didn't receive a dozen of roses but instead received ONE rose and a partially deflated balloon. The picture of the roses my sister ordered didn't even come close to the "arrangement' my mom received. I'll never buy from this company. read more

Wanted to send a friend some flowers for the loss of her husband. I'm on the Mainland, so searched for some place local to her. The woman I spoke with was very kind and helpful. I decided I wanted to send plants instead of a bouquet, and was honestly quite vague otherwise in my specifications, except how much to spend. Well, my friend was overwhelmed (in a wonderful way!) by the basket arrangement, which came to her just hours later. Absolutely beautiful and made with love. Highly recommend! read more

I randomly googled a number late afternoon to order some leis for a wedding in the North Shore. Susan's customer service is incredible, her support and knowledge regarding what was needed for a wedding was very beneficial, her creativity for the center pieces was exceptional. She had it all ready in less than 24 hours! I would give her 10 stars if I could, her and her team are top notch when it comes to the customer experience and deliver an incredible product. read more

The casket spray was beautiful, but our disappointed was in the fact that it was not the length we spoke about and some of the flowers we decided upon were not there--especially the white ginger lei that was supposed to be draped over the arrangement. 3 calls were made to make sure we were on the same page and we were assured everything was ok. A measurement (length) of the spray should have been discussed so that we both understood that. A phone call would have been nice to be able to make the substitutions that were not in the original spray and price. Also, the printing was so small--thought it would be larger so one could read it. read more

I needed to order same day flowers for family in Waialua, however, I live in NJ and know nothing about anyone in the area! I try to give my business to mom and pops, but being I didn't know the area I shamefully tried all the flowers.com sites first, except they don't deliver to Waialua. Anyway, went to a Google maps search and found these guys. Their reviews looked good so I took a shot! I was super nervous being so far away, but our niece just called in excitement that she loved her bouquet! I asked for colorful and cheery, something for an 11 year old! I told the very pleasant woman on the phone what my budget and expectations were and although I butchered pronouncing street names and towns she was beyond friendly and thorough! Will definitely use them again when the need arises! Mahalo! read more

This place made an impression that will last! My girlfriend was having a rough day so I decided it would be nice to get her some sunflowers. I hopped on Yelp and found out about this place which is about 5 minutes from my house in Waialua. Drove up and was told by the office attendant to go talk to Susan to see if she had any sunflowers. I walked back and met Susan who only had some sunflowers that were already placed in pre made bouquets. Susan hand picked the sunflowers out of the bouquets for me and made an absolutely beautiful sunflower bouquet. I asked Susan about where the name Alluvion came from and she gave me a detailed description and a background about the company. An absolutely wonderful experience and I will be going back. read more

This is a plant nursery. I live on Maui and my daughter lives in Waialua, Oahu. On her birthday, May 18, I called Alluvion to send flowers to her workplace. I decided on a gift basket of several plants, including orchids, and they promptly delivered to her workplace, Waialua Elementary. I called her later and she was extremely happy with the plants. I looked up the website and told her to go there in the near future for a wide selection. In the future, if I need florals delivered to the North Shore, I will certainly choose Alluvion for a gift basket of several plants again. My daughter was happy and so I am happy. read more

I called Alluvion 2 days before my wedding for a lei order and Susan was kind enough to take the order. She was so pleasant, had exactly what I needed and the lei's (all orchid) were ready for pick up first thing on the wedding day. My mother picked them up and said it was super simple and quick.
