My dad got my two sons a Lei Greeting when we landed in Maui for our vacation. He sent me the email which had detailed instructions on where to go, where the person would be and to make sure not to miss them. But if chance we did miss them, they would show up to our hotel later. Okay great! I love me some detailed directions. We went down the escalator and I made eye contact with the lady who held a sign with my sons names on it and she started waiving and the kids waived back. They were a little confused on why a lady was there with a sign with their names on it but once we got down and she placed the lei's on their necks and we even got bracelets too, they were happy as could be! The lady was so friendly and nice and the boys were ecstatic! She offered to take our picture and we got to keep the sign which was so cool! If it's your first trip to Hawaii this is a nice touch to start your vacation but not necessary if you are going to a Luau or a hotel that will greet you with a lei. We had booked an Airbnb for the first week and a Luau on day 6 of our trip so this was something special that we were willing to include in our vacation budget. My husband arranged to have Lei Greetings at HNL. Greeted by nice young gentleman; however I wasn't impressed with quality of Lei. Within few hours, it (orchids) fell apart, started to turn brown and looked sad. According to hubby, the lei looked better online. We also felt the price and the quality of lei don't match. Had a wonderful experience with Lei Greeting / Hawaiian Flower Lei. Wanted to switch my order last-minute to pick-up and add several leis. Their lei maker stayed late to make the additional leis. Amy offered to stay after the office closed on the day of pick-up to accommodate our arrival times. And when we had issues finding the pick-up location, Jesse was nice enough to bring the leis out. Then I got a message from my greeter at my flight's arrival time, letting me know her name and where she would be.
