Check your lei's before leaving the stand. part of my lei had dead carnations in between other flowers. I will not go back there ever again, and will let family and friends know. I would have left a zero rating, but needed to click one star. Owner refuse to give me discount on my next purchase, and very disrespectful to customer on the phone. I've always just gone to Chinatown to get Leis, but recently the selection has been slim and the quality lower than usual. I've been by the airport lei stands a few times, but never thought they were locally owned and in family's for generations until I visited Aunty Milan and her daughter Pomaika'i a few weeks ago. I needed leis for my daughter's birthday party and they were so helpful and nice! The poor lei stands at the airport are so underrepresented. They hark back to the past, but are so removed from the flow that you have to know about them and male it a point to seek them out. The tourists generally miss out completely, but I digress.... Martha's is great. She helped select perfect leis for my friends' anniversary. Great service Lovely flowers I ordered a Haku with just two days notice and said the favorite color of the person receiving it was blue. Milan at Martha's Lei Stand is so incredibly sweet. When I called to ask about pricing, she patiently provided answers to my many questions. When I came in to place my order, she gave me suggestions on which lei held up better in heat or if people were moving around. She was conscious of my budget and didn't try to simply make a sale. She even provided us with a cooler to make sure our order did not wilt. Very good customer service. We stopped by again last night with some friends from the mainland. The ladies making lei in the front are just as sweet as Milan and her daughter, Pomai. They advised our friends which lei they could take home and packed them carefully. I ONLY come here for my leis and hakus. This lei stand is reasonably priced and their customer service is the best. Aunty recognizes us as soon as we get out of the car. She always comes thru for us, whenever we need it. My daughter had ordered a maile lei for her prom date, 2 months in advance from another lei stand. A week before the prom, she calls to confirm the order and the agreed upon price ($35). She is told that the order is still there, but the price has changed to $50 because of the prom season demand. WHAT? She ordered this 2 months ago & you won't honor the price? It's not like there was a maile storage. I was so disgusted. I called Martha's Lei Stand and they not only had a lei for my daughter, but gave us the price that she originally quoted by the neighboring lei stand. Take that, unnamed lei stand. It was because of this that we are now loyal customers for Martha's. The flowers are fresh and reasonably priced. The customer service is fabulous. Another bonus, if you have a Hawaiian miles number, they will give you extra points for purchasing here, you don't even need the Hawaiian credit card! Awesome, right? read more

I went here yesterday (Mothers Day) looking for Pikake (mom's favorite). All the other lei stalls were asking $25 per strand...Marthas gave it to me for $15!!! At least their price was much more reasonable than everyone else! The other lei stands were RIPPING OFF people ...Talk about PRICE GOUGING!!!.. I am a wedding planner on Oahu. Martha's Leis was highly recommended to me by another professional vendor, I ordered flowers several days before the wedding I was planning and they took my credit card info and said they would have the flowers ready on the wedding day at 1:00 p.m. for pickup. IN the morning of the wedding day we called Martha's. We were told flowers had NOT come in for the bouquet for the bride. We immediately started calling other florists and found white orchids but had to order Cymbidium orchids because that's all that were available at such late notice. I contacted Martha's again, asked her to credit my account for the new bouquet I had to purchase. She said no she wouldn't do it and said she was cancelling my entire order, hung up on me and took her phone off the hook. I would not recommend this florist to ANYONE, particularly a bride, the worst customer service I have ever had on Oahu. read more

Was incredibly disappointed! Paid $35 for a haku and it was so not worth it! The Stand came highly recommended, so I called and made a phone order. First, she told me she was extremely busy & couldn't make it. I said no problem, to which she said when do you need it. I said tomorrow. She said can you get it after 2pm, I said yes. She then asked me what flowers, yada yada yada to which she seemed annoyed to be doing. I said if you can't do that never minded it's not a problem. She then said no I do it. Then she asked for credit card info. I said can I pay for it there, she said no. So, having trusted my Aunty who recommended her I went ahead and gave her my info. Before hanging up she said ok you pick up tomorrow at 4pm and i said I thougt you said 2pm and she then said oh no 3pm. A little annoyed I said ok my husband will pick it up at that time, to which she hung up on me after that. The next day my husband comes home with the Haku and I could t believe it. It was so poorly made, with cheaper flowers, I could t not believe it was $35. I told her that it was for my young daughter so she could make the strand a little shorter...but she made it extremely short it didn't even wrap entirely around her head. I feel like I literally could have gone out to my yard and picked random things and made a better Haku!!! read more
