If I could I would give this place zero stars!!! Actually negative stars. To start off with I brought my 7 month old in her stroller and as I was struggling to get in the door the lady at the desk (no one else was in the salon! I was the first person to get there) just stood there and watched me struggle. Second I was informed after 20 min of waiting (10 min in my car because they didn't open until 10) that the chick lost her car keys! Um you just now noticed! You couldn't have called and informed me you would be late so we could change the appointment time? Before I woke my baby up from her nap and rushed over here to be on time? If I didn't have a baby I wouldn't care but I mean come on. It's common curtesy to inform your client you will not be in on time. read more

So glad I tried this place! I can't remember the name of the girl who cut my hair, she had short pink hair, but she was awesome! She took my simple instructions and made a luxury haircut out of it! Me and my kids have been going to this salon for almost 2 years now (minus a 4 month hiatus to allow my hair to repair from bleach damage). I had been booking via online. Up until now I haven't had any real issues with it because I've never tried to book anything within a few days. However this time, I needed a child's cut/ shampoo and style by the end of the week. I found the available times online and I booked it. I had a 2:15& 2:45 appointment confirmed (via email). Now I will admit I confused the times and arrived at the 2:45 timeframe to be told we missed the entire appointment and she had someone else in the chair (apparently they had proactively cancelled my 2:45 because the cut came with shampoo and style - not noted anywhere on the website) I will give Sarien credit that she found another person to do the hair cut for us (appreciated). But my biggest complaint is blowing off the fact they just cancelled my 2:45 and making me feel it was my fault that the entire appointment was missed -Keep in mind I was never told my 2:45 slot was cancelled. When I asked the girl w/glasses (not Sarien) at the front desk about it she acted like I should have just known that the cut included shampoo and style and gave me the "it is what it is" attitude. When I asked her why someone didn't call to see if I was on my way (2:15 appointment) I was abruptly told that they don't have time to follow up with their clients (even the repeat clients). She said that is what the email reminder is for. I tried to explain that I had just had lasik and my vision caused me to misinterpret the "1" for a "4" and that we had just been waiting for the appointment to start (Again, I recognize not their fault) but clearly a phone call would have cleared that up. I live literally 1 mile and would have been there within 5 minutes I guess I'm happy for the salon that they are too busy for follow ups now...however you have now lost my business. But based on the response I received I really doubt they will care. Good Customer service goes a long way in my book. But bad customer service just leaves the worst feeling and I can't shake it. There are too many salons out there, why spend my money at a place that just doesn't care. To me it feels like customer service is old school and it doesn't seem to be an important part of the business plan here. Therefore, I feel my only recourse is this review. read more

Beware. This place takes your credit card and keeps it on file. When you call to schedule an appt, they insist your credit card will be charged if you don't cancel within 24 hours of appt. What happens when Leigh Jacob's Salon cancels on you within 30 minutes of your cut and color? Answer...NOTHING ! I hope you will learn from my experience and find another Salon like I did. There is plenty around to select from This place does not deserve your business. They do not care. I spoke to the manager and the owner. I was willing to come in late since Kimberly was running behind. My answer was...No!....I had taken off work...not an easy thing to do where I work. I hope if you are reading this, you will find another salon to try.sww if the salon responds to my review. On Google Reviews they charged another customer that tried to cancel within 24 hours. I rarely treat myself to a nice salon when I get my hair done but I decided to take a chance with this cute little salon right down the street and I'm sure glad I did! I ended up getting there early but Sarien was ready to jump in. She was so sweet and easy to talk to for one. But besides that, she got my hair EXACTLY right. I've never had a stylist fully understand what I'm asking and actually do what I had pictured in my mind. I love my hair and will absolutely be back. An all around very pleasant experience.
