We had the chance to photograph a summer wedding there, and I was absolutely blown away by the space, the staff, and the overall experience. The couple we worked with had gotten engaged in Paris and wanted their wedding to reflect that romantic, European flair. The Ruins, with its opulent, maximalist style and stunning hand-painted ballroom, was the perfect fit. Every room felt like stepping into a different storybook, and the attention to detail in the decor made for the most magical, photo-ready moments. Their guests were wow'd at every turn--it was truly an experience, not just an event. From a vendor perspective, the staff couldn't have been better. Friendly, helpful, and incredibly accommodating. The on-site coordinator, Ruby, is a total gem! Even when a few minor hiccups popped up (as they always do), she handled everything with grace and efficiency, keeping the day running smoothly and stress-free for everyone involved. With a rooftop, and outdoor space on ground level there is a lot of variety - and convertible space for room transitions from event to dance floors. Work with your designers to highlight the modern elements and you'll do well, simple decorations provably shine here over others. The only downside side is the location where the scenery is industrial histories and not as great except on the rooftop. Great cheap parking for the event nearby.

It's an absolutely amazing venue for…read morethrowing a party - so many of our friends had been there before and our high expectations were exceeded! One of the most important things for us was finding a venue "that had a space for everyone" and that's EXACTLY what the Foundry provides. You wanna dance? It's an AWESOME dance floor. Need a breather? Check out the courtyard or the rooftop. Want to be involved but just watch? There are various side-rooms and balconies to check out the action. Of course, another huge pro is that catering is provided in-house, so it made that part of the process so much easier. We also used their list of recommended vendors, all of whom are familiar with the space, and it made set-up on the day of the event an absolute breeze. We do need to respectfully acknowledge that communication with the venue was... a little suspect at times. They experienced a lot of turnover over the past year (as well as some pricing changes), and while we were ultimately very happy with our experience, we hope they can get back to some consistency so that all couples and events get a smooth experience! They went further with the the spirit of things by having video game speed runs on the TV's which was a nice touch during the visit. The specials this particular weekend included the "Pax friends forever" cocktail special - Cognac, rum - saffron - Apricot - Yuzu Curacao - espelette pepper and lemon. Some of those ingredients I definitely did not know what they were but overall, it sounded good and because unless you ask for this specifically it's a special. It was great, a lot of flavors going on and the bartender made it pretty much right there as we're seated at the counter this visit. For bites the "chip spiced chicken wings", another special was ordered. Very good, nice presentation and along with that was some hummus and chips. All these items were gluten free. The ambience here was nice and is behind the main Sabine front for a nice evening loungey atmosphere.

You come in to the top floor and there is a staircase that takes you to the lower level which had a huge canoe. There are pamphlets with resources, great for locals. There is a shop inside with wonderful bath bombs and lots of delicate gifts to take back home . I came from Austin to see this place and I was very happy, nothing short of my expectations.

Expanded heated area toward the front with 2 rollup doors adds to the capacity. There is also a smaller upstairs area with a second bar, bathroom and great views overlooking the main area. We saw a couple of bands on a Friday night and there were wall to wall people so you couldn't really dance. The stage is large and set up nicely and the lights during the shows were really awesome. Lots to do in this part of Fremont so maybe get there early for parking and grab some food before a show.

It's professional and also has the cool/hip vibe that makes being there energizing. The main room used for larger events has two full large glass walls overlooking the water, which is a unique setting for a business meeting. The equipment set up has always worked perfectly and is high quality. The overall space has a great mix of open space, shared space and private offices. I've used their space multiple times and have always had stellar experience.

Our first experience at the Stimson-Green Mansion was a wedding and reception being held there. The…read morebuilding is lovely, and this particular event was catered by Kaspar's, who clearly have a lot of experience here. It was a very nice combination. Our biggest uncertainty beforehand was how much, if any, parking was available. It turns out that they have access to a garage behind the mansion, and there was a person welcoming us at the entry to the garage, giving us instructions on getting to the pedestrian entrance and a sheet of paper with the code for the lock. The exit door could have been better labelled, but that was the only glitch. The venue itself is lovely, looking very much like I imagine it did when it was built in the early 20th century. The caterers were amazingly efficient, both in serving drinks and hot appetizers on the veranda, and in reconfiguring the main room from the ceremony to a sit-down dinner while drinks were being served. This was a great location, enhanced by caterers who clearly knew what they were doing.
