I spoke with Brian, the used car sales manager, about selling my 10-year-old GMC Yukon with approximately 130,000 miles. On our initial call, he gave me a valuation in the neighborhood of $12,000 to $12,500, with some flexibility depending on the vehicle's condition. He said, understandably, that he would need to see the vehicle in person before finalizing an offer. I completely agree with that. A used car's condition needs to be verified, and I have no issue with a price changing based on what is actually found. What happened when I arrived, however, was completely different. After looking at the Yukon and "crunching the numbers," Brian quoted $7,500. His explanation was that the vehicle supposedly needed approximately $3,500 in repairs. The problem is that neither the numbers nor the explanation make sense. Brian already knew this vehicle had exceptionally well-documented service history, including the fact that I had recently spent approximately $8,000 at this dealership replacing the transmission and the entire AC system. Those are two major repairs on a Yukon of this age and mileage, and they had just been completed. He had access to the service records and knew exactly what had been done. More importantly, the math simply does not work. If the initial valuation was approximately $12,000 to $12,500 and the alleged repairs were $3,500, that does not logically get you to a $7,500 offer. And using retail repair costs to justify a dealer's acquisition price is also misleading, because a dealership is not paying retail customer pricing for repairs. I also told Brian that Carvana had offered $12,000. His response was that I should take it because Carvana is a national company that would likely send the vehicle to auction rather than retail it. The irony is that on our initial conversation, Brian had described the same basic approach for his dealership, that they could take the vehicle and send it to auction. Once I was standing there with the car, however, the explanation changed to, essentially, "we would need to repair it before we could sell it." I drove to the dealership based on the valuation Brian had discussed with me, only to have the offer reduced by roughly $5,000 after I arrived, with no credible explanation for how the numbers got there. If this isn't a classic bait-and-switch, I don't know what is. It was an absolute waste of my time, and frankly, an insult after having just spent thousands of dollars having major work done at this same dealership. Very disappointing and, in my opinion, extremely unprofessional. I would expect much more transparency and integrity from a dealership, especially when dealing with a customer who has a vehicle with extensive service records from that very dealership. read more

The Lehmer's Concord is excellent. We have purchased our "family" cars including 3 Buick Enclaves SUV over the years. Founded in 1936, the Lehmer's family has been selling and servicing cars for 5 generations! Wow! Impressive track record. Since our son went to college and we became "Empty Nesters", I wanted a small car since I no longer needed a SUV. I enjoyed our Enclaved and so did the two we had stolen over the years! So I was in the market for a Smartcare or mini cooper for city driving in San Francisco and especially for parking easily. Well, my wife did some research and wasn't about to let me get a "clown car". She did discover the Buick had created a new model the "Envista". Went to Lehmer's Concord Buick given the excellent deals and service we gave received over the past decade. We been VERY disappointed with both the deals and services we have had with Buick dealers in San Francisco and the peninsula. So it is worth the drive and effort go to Concord every few years. I test drove the 2024 Envista in 2023 and was very delighted by its solid drive, handling, sporty feel & look. We decided to get one! My wife drives a Audio S5 convertible and I exclusively drive us for farmers market, groceries and veterinary visits. The Envista are relatively "rare" and the 1st years I drove it people would yell "beautiful car! I thought it was a Lamborghini!" Well, needless to says it is a stunning model and after looking up what a current Lamborghini looks like and cost, I agree! But I saved about $350,000 buy getting the Envista! Team at Lehmer's have ALWAYS been very smart, helpful and friendly. I worked for a Lincoln Dealership in Bethesda, Maryland in the 1970s so I do have some insights into what it takes to run a successful car dealership and these are very high functioning with all systems go! read more

Terrible service here. I had arranged a meeting to see a vehicle and received a confirmation text message 3 hours prior to the meeting time. When I arrived, I was told the vehicle had sold. The salesperson first tried to say he had messaged that it had sold (he hadn't). Then, he said it wasn't his fault, it was the AI that they use to communicate with customers. I confirmed that the texts I received had really been from an auto-generated AI machine that doesn't even know what cars are available. This AI sets up appointments for cars that don't exist. Their website lists cars for sale that they don't have. Totally unprofessional. read more

We purchased our company Ford F150 from Carlos Marin. Carlos was wonderful to work with for this transaction. We purchased the auto online. Carlos sent me a video introduction for himself, and he provided the car information. I asked if he could have everything ready for us to come and sign paperwork. He provided a list of items to bring to the dealership. When we arrived, he greeted us with a warm "hello", directed us to the finance manager who had all our paperwork ready to go. We were in and out of the dealership all within a half hour. Carlos even added to his database all our specifications of what we are looking for when the time comes to purchase another company vehicle. Great job! read more

Save Yourself the Headache** Absolutely ridiculous customer service. I called this dealership ready to look at a vehicle and have my car appraised for a potential trade. I was upfront that I wanted to look at the numbers first and wasn't planning on buying that same day. Apparently, that was an unacceptable answer. The sales assistant manager immediately became rude and dismissive and told me, **"Oh, we don't do that here. If you're not buying today, then it's a waste of our time."** Let that sink in. I was a potential customer calling to look at a vehicle and discuss a trade, and they basically told me I wasn't worth their time because I wasn't willing to blindly buy a car on the spot. If your idea of customer service is **"buy today or get lost,"** then congratulations--you've made it very easy for customers to take their business somewhere else. People have every right to compare vehicles, evaluate trade-in values, look at financing, and think about a major purchase before committing. That's called being a smart consumer, not "wasting your time." The irony is that they were so focused on making a sale **today** that they managed to guarantee they won't get my business **tomorrow--or ever.** There are plenty of dealerships that understand how to treat potential customers with basic respect. Beware of Lehmers. I purchased my New Sierra Denali EV from Lehmers on 5/23/25. On 10/5/25 I brought my truck in for a tire rotation . One hour later I was informed that two of Lehmers service employees crashed my truck and another customers vehicle. See photo. From day, one I requested that Lehmers replace my truck with a new truck since I had just recently purchased it from them. I did not want a repaired vehicle due to their negligence. Darren the GM told me that he had to wait for the insurance company. I again requested that he replace my truck asap. For six weeks I was told that we have to wait for their insurance company. At that point they decided to declare the truck a total loss due to the severity of the damage. It has now been three months and I'm still waiting for them to do the right thing and replace my truck. Typical bait and switch merchants. Installed lo-jack and clear coat and demandedextra payment for it. I requested they remove it and they told me that's not technically possible (completely untrue), then when I challenged them on that they admitted it was possible but that they simply won't remove it. I submitted an online inquiry regarding leasing and was connected with a representative named Neo, we spoke about what I was looking for and had a nice conversation. The quote I requested was to include multiple mileage options, which makes having it in writing even more important for proper comparison and evaluation. I asked to have the quote sent by email, but instead received a text from Jonathan that said he valued my time and if there's anything holding me back to let him know. When I asked again to have the quote emailed, Jonathan's response was "Due to the competitive nature of the business, we do not provide written quotes..but I am happy to hop on a call to go over the numbers with you." As consumers, we are protected by Federal laws such as the Consumer Leasing Act (CLA), which requires that lease costs and terms--including initial payments, fees, mileage limits, and end-of-lease options--be clearly disclosed in writing. This information should always be provided in a written format so customers can carefully review and fully understand the agreement before making any commitment. Especially when it's requested multiple times. It's nice that the dealership advertises on local sports channels and supports high schools their owners are alumni of. However, they should also be transparent about the fact that they are not consumer-friendly and often act in ways that primarily benefit themselves rather than the customer. It is also essential to know costs before test-driving a vehicle or making any in-person visits, so time and effort are not wasted on unclear or undisclosed terms. read more

I've been searching online for the best truck to fit my needs for a few months now and after getting pre-approved through my bank, I finally went out to see the trucks in person. The service department took care of me and my truck, very efficient and professional. The parts department was outstanding, a shout out to Mike G.! He assisted me making sure I was ordering the correct parts and only the parts required. Most of the parts arrived a few days later, he called to inform me that they had arrived and were available for pick up. Additionally, there were parts that were out of stock that were ordered from the manufacturer. The Parts Manager Deanna, directly involved herself, and placed a priority order on the parts. She kept me in the loop by providing updates to the order, any info that was available from the manufacturer she passed along to me. This place lied to us. We asked for info on vehicle. They claimed it had been serviced only to find that they buried an AAMCO record from dec 2025 stating the transmission needs replacement. It also came with a nest of ants as it had been parked under a tree. Never the less thus us unacceptable and they are thieves. Terrible customer service! I don't Not recommend this place at all. Took my truck on to get checked and find out an issue with a clicking noise that seems to come from the transmission. I emailed them a video of the noise to facilitate their work. Video attached below. Emily (my service person in charge) called back a few days later saying that they can't find the noise and that I needed to go there to drive test the truck with their technician to duplicate the noise because their technician couldn't find the issue. I leave far away and I'm also running a business, I can't come just to drive test the car when they are the experts and it's being covered by my bumper to bumper insurance. Why should I come over and find the issue for them? Emily, called me again on 03/19/24 to tell me to return the free rental ASAP and if I don't I was going to start getting charged, basically threatening me and with a very rude tone. I went today 3/20/24 to pick up my truck after more than a week there and they didn't work on my truck. Not only they returned the truck extremely dirty, but also damaged. One of the side pieces of trim by the door was about to fall (showed to one of their members there he took a picture). Bottom line they let me go with a malfunctioning truck. As soon as I turned the truck on (still at their dealer parking at the service area) the clicking noise was there. They told me nothing they can do at that time and let me drive the truck home at their own risk. As I'm driving the truck home the noise is there and the piece of trim is making noise with the wind and flapping about to fall off. I Stoped to put gas and found a big scratch by the hood as well (picture below) This was an extremely frustrating and bad experience. read more

Well, I did! I got rid of my 100k problem and purchased a new 2025 F 350 and was treated like gold. I have purchased 4 NEW vehicles from Lehmers since 2006 and feel the customer service has gone downhill to the dogs! Never will I be a loyal customer to Lehmers again, they showed their true colors. I was particularly disappointed with service work done by Lehmer's earlier this year. We were dealing with a seemingly straightforward issue with the radio electrical (not turning off after shutting down the car and opening the door) and yet, I kept being informed of the need to authorize more and more evaluation and inspection work at increasingly mounting expense. Eventually, after paying a material four digit amount with zero progress, I moved the vehicle to a different mechanic who immediately identified that it was simply a pinched wire in the door. read more

I drove 2 hours to buy a car that I had been talking with the dealership for a week about. Before leaving my house I made sure to let them know what time I would arrive. When I arrived, they couldn't find my salesperson and the car was dirty (coffee spilt and dried on the back seat). I asked about a remote for the tv in the car and they told me that they would check inside and when I got inside I asked for the missing remote and was told it wouldn't be inside, it would be in the car. This company uses bait-and-switch to get you in their door, the price listed on their website and other websites is not transparent. Be prepared to pay $1,200 on top of the price you see for a Lojack system. Don't waste your time, go somewhere else. read more

just picked up a 2024 Sierra 1500 AT4X from Chico on saturday evening and it was the best experience anyone can ask for. we showed up close to closing and Chico was able to get us in and out promptly with our truck, and he also helped us setup the driver profiles so we didn't have to sniff through the owners manual.
