I've since sold the vehicle and the only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars is because I'm forever receiving phone calls and letters about the vehicle. I leased my Kia Soul from Lehighton Kia in 2019. I didn't have any particular issues with them then, other than the process taking forever--though I've come to expect that at dealerships. In 2024, I bought out my vehicle. I went over the mileage slightly and planned to buy it instead of buying it. I called Kia informing them of my plans and asking them to write up the paperwork. When I got there, they took my car's keys from me and wanted to charge me a $2k 'dealer fee' but could not tell me what the dealer fee cost. Incidentally, it was the same amount that it would cost to pay my overage in mileage. I called the Kia headquarters and they told me this was illegal. They gave me a lower offer on the phone--while I was STILL waiting at the dealership--and found me a lender before my lease ran out. This year, I still have taken my Kia to the service department for its free inspections since I hadn't had any issues there. I never get more than an oil change or inspection and take my car to my personal mechanic for other issues. I've noticed in early 2025 that the service department started trying to rack on other services, but denied them. In late Feb I got a card in the mail that oil changes were on sale, so I took my car in. When it was ready, they called me and told me that it needed some fluids filled up--brake fluid, trans fluid, and coolant. I said sure, knowing fluids won't cost more than $20-$40. My mom picked up the car while I was at work. For an oil change, a free inspection, and fluid fill--LEHIGHTON KIA CHARGED ME $900. Unbeknownst to me, they flushed all 3 systems (or said they did) and then forced my mother to pay for it, taking advantage of the situation. To top it all off, they cracked my windshield where they put on the inspection sticker, AND my car now has an oil leak that my mechanic has had to look at. I have brought it back to their service department to fix. I have talked to their service manager. I have talked to Kia headquarters. No one has any explanations or answers. I was price gouged, taken advantage of, and my car was left in a worse state than when I took it in. Do not take your car to Lehighton Kia. If you're in the area, I highly recommend Fritz auto repair down the road. read more

Nine times out of 10 I have a wonderful experience but the last time I was here unfortunately they did not reattach a part on my car right so I had to speak to a supervisor to get that resolved thankfully, they were willing to fix the part for no cost and give me a free oil change for the inconvenience as well so that made me very happy read more

I purchased my 2024 Sportage last November. My salesman was great. He is not the problem here. My problem is the service department. I call to make an appointment, and I can never reach anyone. Eventually someone answers puts me on hold for 3-6 minutes then after all that has to takes a message. No one calls then I still have to call back the next day to schedule an appointment and pray I can speak to someone. Then they give you an appt for 3-4 weeks out. You can only go Mon - Fri for an oil change and not open any earlier than 8am. That's what I get for switching from Toyota to Kia I guess. read more

I had a voucher for a promotion they were running that I found on their Facebook. They were offering to pay off current loans of your trade in to get you into a new car. They advertised for no credit/bad credit and that it was no problem. I got there and told them I wanted them to run the numbers and my approval for anything. I was willing to get any car at this point but with trouble in the past I asked them to get me approved BEFORE I even test drive the vehicle. They brought me out a car, said it was my only option, and I did like the car. I told them I would take it. Come time for paperwork, suddenly there was a problem and I can't be approved yet I asked them to make sure I could get it before wasting my/our time with a test drive. Upon hearing I wouldn't be able to get the vehicle, the manager/finance guy; whoever he was, talked down to me like I was a 12 year old child. And then started to berate my in-laws who so lovingly came to LOOK (not buy) at a car with me. Asking them about their income and why won't they co-sign for me, even after me saying many times I was here to get a car on my own. Then he tried bringing my partner into it and berating EVERYONE into why they won't co sign on a vehicle for me. Then continued to berate me after my in laws walked away from his condescending tone, telling me I'll never find a bank to loan me money. Absolutely disgusting. I will not be returning. Also, while I was there, there was another customer yelling at the staff for not having his car ready when he came from out of state to pick it up. Do not do business here. read more

Would definitely not recommend trying to get a vehicle here. Do not be fooled by flashy advertising on their Facebook or website. I contact Lehighton Kia Tuesday about a deal they were offering on their Facebook. I asked about the deal that was advertised on Facebook and was told it was for everything. I have them specific guidelines on what I would like to see and have them emailed to me. They responded and said someone would be in contact with me in the next 24 hours, NOTHING. I figured they were busy so I let it go until Thursday afternoon and I got generic response back. I again messaged them this morning with specifications on what I was looking for and was left unread. So I followed up with a phone call around 2pm today. I was told their online person was on the phone and would call me back. Nothing again. Just go somewhere else with responsive people trying to sell cars. read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Called ahead put a deposit on a car because I was coming from 40 min away, had them pre-run my credit report get to the dealership and they sold the car. Everything started ok on the first visit. we were close on the numbers but were just out of my range, so we couldnt make it work that day, so Ray said if the truck is still here, give him a call if things change and you can purchase. Well two weeks later i gave him a call and he said the truck was still there, and I said, i only want to make one trip because it is about a 45 minute to hour drive. He said that is fine he will talk to his boss. I keep calling and texting for an update, and he is working on it, and finally and literally a week later he says if i come in today, i will drive that truck home tonight. I said perfect and make the trip in, and 1 hour later THE TRUCK IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. Like seriously. And to top it off even further, i was offered trucks, i was looking for a Full Size Crew Cab, that werent not comparable, and if i did want something comparable I needed to kick in more money, even though the TRUCK i was coming for was a FULL Size Crew Cab (2017 Ram 1500 Sport). Let me add that i talk with him the night before and if it werent so late, because they close at 6pm, he said i could have drove home with the truck the night before, the same truck that was magically in the body shop the next day. Only to get no answers. Nothing. It was $300. which is alot of money to me. they suck. guess ill have to take off of work and drive an hour just to yell at someone, because obviously they will not return my calls. they are too busy selling cars to deal with their existing or former customers. Last August I went to this dealership. The salesperson was great but the sales manager not so much. I told them I did not want my credit run as I was working on improving my score. I was told they were only doing a soft inquiry, not to worry about it. They lied and ran my report four times. I was very specific about what I was looking for. I just wanted to see if getting in something less expensive was an option for me with how much I owed on my current vehicle. The sales manager was really pushy telling me to do a voluntary repo of my car and buy theirs for the same exact payment a month. When I told him I was not willing to do a repo he got pushier telling me that it would not effect my credit score anyway and that my car was going to brake down and then what would I do. When he finally realized I was not going to change my mind he finally left me alone so I could leave. Worst experience I have ever had at a dealership. read more

Pushy People. I'm not sure why people go to this dealership. My dad and I went there to get our car fixed because the seat warmer wasn't working properly and just because we were there, looked at other cars. We took a car for a test drive and if we were to get a cheaper car payment we were going to take it home, but when the offer came back at something we didn't want, we were badgered not to leave without a new car. The terms weren't to our liking, so is it not fair for us to walk away? The floor manager came over and got snippy saying he's never seen someone walk away from a deal like that and then asked us what were we even doing at the dealership, like seriously, we were getting our car fixed. We walked away very upset and distraught being treated the way we were. No wonder they sell so many cars, because no one is ever allowed to leave without a new one. People are allowed to say NO and walk away, nothing is written in stone. Would never go back there again and definitely would never recommend anyone to go there either, save yourself the hassle and pushiness. read more
