    Beef & bone

Legs diamond is located in upper village, which has less people and quieter than Whistler village. The restaurants are less crowed. The inside is well decorated; clean, nice and cute. The French onion soup is a twist from the traditional one, less cheese, more sweet, equally tasty. The frog legs were well breaded, moist, but there are only two, and the rest is thick fries. It should be called the frog leg poutine instead. I thought it was going to be a whole plate of frog legs, but quite disappointed when there were only two :( and I didn't really like the thick cut fries. The beef and bone was nicely presented, tasted delicious, it comes automatically in rare, unless you specify otherwise. The bone is stuffed with very salty shredded meat and mushrooms. It could be a bit less salty. Overall, enjoyable!

Came to Whistler for a conference and needed dinner fast before getting some work done so opted to eat here as it's right across the street from the Fairmont. This is a small restaurant with a small menu but the food was good. I ordered the scallops and venison dish, which came with 2 jumbo scallops and a small piece of venison, and some steamed vegetables and some pureed vegetable. The venison and scallops were so delicious. The other stuff on the plate were ok, I needed to have some vegetables and steamed vegetables were fine not amazing. The server/bartender was very attentive and she made me a virgin citrus soda that was pretty good. Overall, I enjoyed my meal here, only wish it was faster. When I ordered, there were only 2 tables occupied (and the other table only ordered some desserts) but the kitchen took almost 40 minutes to deliver my food.

This place rocks! Not only is the inside of the restaurant stunning, the food is so flavourful and unique! The atmosphere is classy, casual and comfortable (checkout the ceiling when you're there). The drinks are delicious. Desert is a must. The owner, Greggy, is a great local chef. He makes all the recipes from scratch! Be sure to ask about the backstory to the restaurant name.

    $5 Caesar!

I'm so sad that I didn't see this place when my family was looking for a brunch place to spend our morning. Instead, we came here after our breakfast when we were on a stroll through the farmer's market right next to the Fairmont Chateau where we were staying. What initially caught my eye was their $5 caesar specials they had going on for weekend brunch. I was pretty full from my breakfast earlier, but after our stroll through the market my mom and I decided to come back here for some drinks. They also had $5 mimosas as part of the deal as well -- score! While we were sitting waiting for our caesars, we took a peak at their brunch menu. Damn. The minute we saw it we wished we had come here instead of spending the extra money at the hotel restaurant. They had a good variety of options, and from what we could see from the other tables the portions were decently sized. When my caesar came out it was garnished with a cheese curd and an olive, which I ended up giving to my mama. The caesar itself was super tasty and way better than the $18 hotel caesar I had the night before. I couldn't believe how good the quality was for how cheap it was. If you're staying at the Fairmont or decently close to the upper village, this is a cute little spot worth checking out. I'll definitely be back for their caesars and mimosas alone. Plus, their patio is perfect for people creeping, as it is the entrance into the market.

I went there opening weekend and it was fantastic. It's across the street from the Fairmont Whistler and has a very relaxed feel to it. One of the best parts about the restaurant is Sean Pettit's Dad is one of the Chef's! I had a few good drinks and also had the pleasure of meeting Sean Pettit himself! Very humble, happy and awesome guy. Check it out, it will not disappoint!

    Burnt crostinis

This place is not worth stopping here. I had the French onion which was weirdly sweet with burnt crostinis as the bread and the cheese was stuck to them so if you picked them out then you wouldn't have any cheese. (It was as if they took the crostinis that burnt and used them for the soup rather than throw them out). The "prawn Caesar salad" had 2 prawns for $16. The server was very friendly but she was the only server for the entire restaurant including the patio so I waited forever for the bill then my change. Maybe she thought I wouldn't want change???

The miso sesame dressing added depth without overpowering the beets, while the puffed grains gave it the perfect crunch. The nori, shiso, and hint of yuzu brought a subtle freshness that made the dish feel light yet layered. A stunning start. The cavatelli with fontina and 5g shaved black truffles was pure comfort but elevated. Rich, silky, and deeply savory, with the truffle aroma hitting you immediately. The focaccia and fresh herbs tied it all together -- indulgent without feeling heavy. The standout for me was the sablefish. Perfectly cooked -- buttery and flaky -- paired beautifully with turnip, radish, and maitake mushrooms. The roasted fish bone sauce was incredibly refined and packed with umami. Every bite felt intentional and balanced. And to finish, the sticky toffee pudding -- warm, decadent, and exactly what you want to end the night. Sweet, comforting, and unforgettable. Wild Blue blends refined technique with thoughtful ingredients. Definitely one of the highlights of dining in Whistler

It was a very disappointing experience. We haven't visited Whistler in years, I was looking forward…read moreto this trip because we had booked what I thought was the top rated restaurant there but boy was I ever wrong. Their geoduck and clam pasts tasted okay but the serving size was laughably small, 2 large bites to perhaps 4 small bites at best. The worst thing was the overcooked geoduck, they're basically large clams and anyone who's cooked and eaten clams will know that overcooked clams turn rubbery and the few bits of geoduck were as rubbery as a rubber duck. The same applies to their Roasted Ling Cod, unless you enjoy overcooked ling cod, avoid at all costs. Amongst our group we ordered 3 New Your Steaks, we ordered medium rare, to their credit they were all cooked a perfect medium rare. Trouble was they were all way over salted. Too much salt to make them enjoyable, frankly I've had much better steaks at Denny's. As part of their prix fixe menu they had smoked black cod which I normally enjoy. Here they mashed the black cod into a chip dip which they served with their house made potato chips, While the dip was okay as far as taste goes, the chips they served last week on Wednesday night were all stale, not yet rancid but definitely stale. If the manager is reading this, I suggest he take a few and taste them himself. Prices weren't out of line since this is a resort area and restaurant pretty much can count on a "captive" clientele. However value wise this place should not be anywhere near the top of your go-to list.

This place has always felt like one of those "special occasion only" restaurants that are usually out of reach. The special menu was such a steal and so wonderful!!! I didn't want the food to stop flowing. Service was warm without being stuffy, the vibe was lively but still intimate, and the whole night felt like we'd accidentally unlocked a VIP experience. The service is as you'd expect from Four Seasons: Polite wait staff and impeccable service. I started with the scallops which were expertly seared to bring out the sweetness of the shellfish. The accompanying acidic salad was a perfect contrast. For my main course, I had the prime grade rib eye from Idaho, if memory serves me right. It was stellar as you'd expect. The believe the potatoes were cooked in duck fat and were crispy yet creamy. The mac 'n cheese was the weak link however: Their cheese blend was a tad on the sweet side, and its richness and flavors didn't reach the high bar set by the rest of the dinner.
