Admittedly, mall LEGO stores are all a lot alike-- same layout, same selection, same size footprint. This one's the usual. I will say however, they had a LOT of employees roaming the store. Like a surprising number for such a small store... I think I saw six or more. I'm sure there's lots to do cleaning up after small children running about with loose LEGO bricks on a Saturday afternoon though. The guy at the check-out counter was having such a riveting conversation with some other customers that he completely missed that we were waiting to pay for our item. Oops. He was apologetic when he did notice though and then his full attention was on us and trying to make funny jokes (I say trying because he asked if we were planning to put the set together together and that it's the leading cause for divorce... which wasn't actually that funny... Ever notice it's always straight people always joke about divorcing over the tiniest shit? I'm just saying.) Aaanyway, yay, LEGO store! If this place was submerged, Jules Verne would call it 20,000 Legos Under The Sea. Yes, the Lego store is expensive for sure, but at least it's something nice for kids in Malls which are generally geared towards notkids. Kids these days don't seem to value Lego as much, or find it as exciting, as we did when I was a tiny little sh**, but they make perfect building blocks for the smaller ones and it always helped me get my brain and motor skills purring when I was a little tiny jerk. Like I said, a little bit on the expensive side, but still a good addition to any mall, and it's in a lot of malls these days. read more

The staff at this store is always super welcoming and friendly. They are ready to help at any time. I love coming in to see their displays. They've also made the floor more open and limited the number of guests. However, it's mainly walk-in during the week with sometimes a short line during the weekend. They also have great sales and it's nice there's a loyalty rewards program. Make sure to call if they are open because during the pandemic there's time when they close until the situation becomes better. read more

The staff is always courteous and helpful and they always seen to have everything my kiddos are looking for. My only complaint is they say they can't access the VIP points to let you know if you have any to use on your purchase. I don't quite understand that. I've always had an issue with getting all of our VIP points to post on our account, too. If they'd get that sorted they'd definitely be a 5 star experience. read more

We came by to wait while my Husband went to another store and what a treat for both me and my son. He got to build 3 minifigs for $9.99 and I got to feast my eyes in the Millenium Falcon! All I can say is WOW! The staff here are so friendly and patient I really appreciated it. The only improvement I can think of is a sofa for parents to wait while their family builds to their hearts content...but the staff was right in saying that if they did we would never leave. We had a great time here today. Joined the VIP club for points and got a free cherry red minifig keychain as a gift. It's hard for me to consider giving 5 Stars to a retail store, but Lego isn't your typical store. Let me start with the staff. They are ALWAYS friendly. They're like the Disney characters at Disneyland without their masks. And it seems, at least outwardly, like they truly love their job. They smile. They walk around to ensure everyone has their questions answered and can find what they're looking for. They are like big responsible kids. Cleanliness: The store is just about as clean as a toy store can be. I've never seen trash laying around. All products are well faced on the shelves. There are play stations in the store for your kids to build their creations and let their imaginations run wild. You can get three minifigurines for $9.99. They have plenty of small gifts in the $7-$15 range for birthdays. They sell Lego office supplies like pencil holders, calendars, and photo frames. Really, there is something for everyone in the store! read more

The best store in the mall for all ages, whether you come here to window shop, buy, or play. Though LEGO prices aren't for everyone, this store will bring anyone out of their childhood dark ages whether you had these plastic brick elements as a child or not. The store is vibrant and full of color. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the store has a LEGO theme centered around it including the ceiling, which has a big red brick. They have built models in between the shelves so you can peek through the little windows to see how big or detailed they are. Additionally, they have a bin of bricks you can build things(but cannot take out). With the pandemic I have found that Legos make the time at home so much better. I grew up with Legos and even as an adult love putting the projects together and seeing the awesome end result. Even my son will sit and work for a days on a larger project which has made this a family hobby. Yesterday a friend and I went to the Lego store to purchase some items on our personal wish lists and so I could spend a Lego egift card I received for Mother's Day. They are limiting 12 guests in at a time, but the lady at the door was really nice and when I noted one I was going to get, she grabbed it and put it behind the counter, which was awesome. Once inside the staff was helpful yet mindful of how close they came to everyone. When I went to checkout the cashier noted that it was an online/phone only giftcard, but that she would ask her manager. The manager came out and was very friendly and understanding. He noted he would work on it so I could use it with my purchase and that it would take a few minutes. That went a long way with me at the fact he was willing to try and let me know it would take about 5 minutes. He was able to transfer it to a store card which made my day! I just wish the cashier was just as personable and nice as the others. She is the only one that I have ever experienced at the Lego store that was not personable, that was snappy, and seemed annoyed more than helpful. We are huge LEGO fans around here so naturally we love the LEGO store that recently opened up in North Star Mall. It is great for kids with an interest in building, as they have a whole wall full of bricks separated and organized. This is great if you child loses a crucial piece to a set they have or wants some extra wheels to build some crazy futuristic cars. They also have an area where you can build your own mini fig which is pretty cool. The only downside here is that I see a lot of money being spent here in the next few years! read more

We are a Lego household. 3 boys and 1 girl who all LOVE Legos! We typically go to the monthly mini build every month if we can. I would be embarrassed and scared to add up the amount of money we have on legos. :) That being said, we went in tonight for the mini build of the adorable frog. I almost cancelled taking my kids because we had a ton of other stuff going on. I was so impressed with an employee named Irvin. He was so kind and helpful to my kids, especially my 12 year old. My son was telling him how he really wants to work for Lego and he was asking him all about it. Irvin was super interested and telling him all about how to get a job one day. He was so sincere and made our sons night. Just a simple task of caring enough to talk to him. We love this store and just goes to show you a little attention can go a long way.
