Looking forward to building this set!
Renee N.

What an incredible Lego store this is! While walking around exploring Downtown Disney, my daughter and I decided to see what trouble we could get into here. I am late to the Lego game but have now become a Lego lover and builder. The store is huge and there so many Lego sets to choose from. I saw many sets I had never seen before, I had wanted to get my daughter the Otter set for her birthday but could not find it anywhere. Well, we found it here and we were so excited. Service was helpful and I could have spent way more than I did. I definitely saw some sets I plan to purchase and build in the future. Pricing is typical but I did see some sets that were reasonably priced. This a very busy Lego store but we got in and out with ease!

It can get pretty packed, but the cashiers are surprisingly fast. The employees are really attentive and even let you interact with some of the more advanced LEGO builds, like the cars, which was really cool! They also offer free stickers and have a custom LEGO station, along with a huge variety of LEGO sets. Such a cool store, kids could easily stay in there all day if you let them!

Incredible customer service by Matthew at the Mini Figure Factory in the Lego store. He helped my son find a shield and sword for his custom Lego. My son was so excited! Matthew seemed to be great with kids and customer service overall. Thank you Matthew!

A must stop when at Downtown Disney. So many Disney Legos in one place. The variety is amazing here. You can also customize Legos. There is tables with Legos for kids to play with. My niece had a great time playing with the legos. She chose a few Legos to purchase. Greta memories from here. It's also a great place to buy gifts from. Customer service was friendly.

My favorite Lego store. You find everything here. If there's a Lego version of it, then it most likely will be here. You can have a blast just touring the store and finding all types of Legos that you did not even know existed. I found Mario and Luigi sets, Harry Potter sets, and Disney sets. They have it all; they even have multiple free Legos for kids to play with while their parents shop. You can even build your own Legos to buy and take home with you. Pick and choose your colors and pieces. I also like that they have a lot of Lego displays of Disney characters like the Genie or Aladdin, which I find to be super cool. My kids loved this place, and so did my wife, who's a big LEGO builder. Recently bought her the new Winnie the Pooh one. She built it in a day! Crazy.

We always visit this Lego store on all our trips. The staff are very nice and friendly. The prices are reasonable and they are the same with other Lego stores. This store has a lot of traffic so they might run out of stock sooner sometimes. We really like their decorations and displays :)

This place is every child's dream! My son included! This is an absolute must when making your way thru Downtown Disney. The store features massive, photo-worthy Disney character sculptures like Maleficent (fire breathing dragon), Belle, and the Beast. They have a wide selection of Lego sets for kids of all ages. It is often crowded but provides an engaging experience for everyone. Magic Key holders can receive discounts (that's always a bonus). And they stay open late, allowing visitors to stop by after visiting Disneyland and California Adventure. Today's visit was all about Minecraft! My son got everything on his wishlist! Including an extra mini set for free! The staff are amazing! Service is exceptional! And the quality of merch is exclusive (hard to find large scale sets). And prices are reasonable! Definitely come check this place out!

Custom Lego People

5 stars specifically for OSCAR!! The initial guy ringing us up and explaining the Lego making process was far from "friendly". Thank goodness it was Oscar assisting for the rest of the visit. My toddler has always been into stacking and building so whenever we pass by a Lego store, it's an automatic MUST that we stop by and let her do her thang. The past few times we visited Downtown Disney's Lego shop, the MINIFIGURE FACTORY was always swarmed with customers. Since there was no wait during our visit, I took it upon myself to go ahead and build 2 miniature people as souvenirs. As noted above, the initial guy who was assisting in the process was not warm in any kind of way. Maybe is was an off day for him and I get that customer service is rough but I was ecstatic to see him move away from the customizable area. In comes Oscar!! The process itself is very straightforward. The choosing of the outfits and adding specific details is what takes all the time in the world. There are pre set outfits, stickers, and accessories that are readily available for use but do keep in mind that they are lowkey limited to actual designs that I wanted. Luckily, you can draw/paint/write, creating your own personal design as you see fit. Once done, you let the staff know that you are finished with the design aspect and will move on to selecting the right face/expression, hair, and accessory for your mini Lego person. My complaint is not having enough hair style options to accurately replicate the person you are trying to create. The display models had brunette options and ponytails but none were actually found in the bins. I ended up with a blonde and will eventually take a Sharpie marker to it- LOL. Kudos and 5/5 stars for Oscar. Thank you for being friendly, patient, and willing to answer questions. You made this experience so memorable and I can happily report that the recipients of the mini Lego people where so very pleased!

Japan set...to remind me that is a vacation spot!

I forgot how fun it is to pop into the Downtown Disney LEGO shop! The place is busy and customers are packed in a relative large space -- the products packed (stuffed up on shelves topped to the rim) with an awesome mix of sets, from cool action figures to random stuff like bamboo kits (who knew that was a thing?). Or more like do I need this rather than the real lucky bamboo. Hmmmmm During the weekend the Lego shop is very busy, full of excited kids and just as many adults trying to justify their "artistic" purchases. I swore I'd stay strong and just came in to look... I always enjoy eye-candying my dark knight- Dark Vadar! But yeah, they got me in the end with a LEGO pen. Totally worth it. TIP: Squeeze in every minute of the 2 -hour free validation (with purchase) in the parking lot.

Brb, living my best brick life! Building happiness one brick at a time at the Lego store at Downtown Disney! I knew I was in a whole new world when I spotted a giant Genie with Aladdin and Princess Jasmine made out of legos hanging above. This was just the start of many cool sights at this Lego store. There has to be a Lego for every fan! From flowers to lucky cats, they've got every thing! I was even amazed that they had a large Super Mario (where's my fave Princess Peach though?!). This spot is built for fun (literally)!

This is a very popular spot in Downtown Disney. There's usually a line to get into the store. The staff is super helpful and friendly. We came in here just to look around. We saw the desk where you can make your own Lego figure. Well, we had to do THAT! We were able to make an appointment for later in the evening, so we returned for that. The process is pretty streamlined and straightforward. Timothy helped us along the way. It was fun to design, then what then print our pieces, and then we got to accessorize them. The whole process was $12/person and I honestly felt like it was worth that. It was a fun experience and I'm glad we did it!

Atul S.

A little small and it was so crowded but like other lego store, this was a great place to be. Plenty of options to build and purchase for kids and they will be occupied for good amount of time here. Staff was nice as well and multiple staff offered help during our visit.

I'm surprised to see that they are falling short on cleaning off the spiderwebs on their display in front of the store
E.J. A.

Wow! I guess I'm getting old. It's been a while since I bought anything LEGO. I suppose just like anything else, prices wet up. Nice staff inside of a well lit store and generally clean store. Lots of selection for a small store. One tip though. If I were the manager I'd have someone get a ladder and clean off the spider webs off the LEGO display out front. Just saying.

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to learn tufting for the first time!! For those new to tufting,…read moretufting is essentially a texture manufacturing process where you insert yarn into a base fabric to create rugs. The lesson first starts off with choosing a simple base design. Our instructor specifically recommended a design with simple lines and colors to make it easier for our first ever rug, which was around $70. Using a projector, you will trace your image onto the fabric as a template for the rest for your work. Before starting with tufting, we then moved onto a mini tutorial on the ins and outs of using a tufting gun, from yarn insertion to how to create straight versus curved lines. Keep in mind you have to put a lot of pressure on the canvas to ensure that your yarn is being threaded correctly. Going through several practice sessions definitely made the transition to the entire tufting process easier. Starting our rug, we soon recognized how difficult and time consuming the rug tufting process was. Even simple design like ours (a cartoon dog) was a long lengthy process than anticipated and we ended up spending 3-4 hours for completion for one of the smaller size rugs. We were recommended to start from the inside out and using one color at a time, inserting lines of yearn about a fingers width to ensure completion of our rug. Though we initially struggled with creating finer lines, we eventually got the hang of it and were able to successfully complete our rug. Our instructor transitioned us into the final process, teaching us how to trim our rug and prepare it to take home. Personally based on the instructor teaching and supplies available, this class was well worth its price point. Overall, I would say tufting is an impressive skill that I learned for the first time and hope to come again to create more designs!

The tents are still there; I thought it was a Covid thing. I went through most of the library, looking at the titles. Some games were very up high. They also had some games that are hard to find and out of print. It's $3 per hour, per person. I have a large collection myself, but I wouldn't mind stopping by to play some games. Our trip was very short, so maybe next time. People were friendly inside. No smells ;) I wish they had an adjourning cafe...with small bites, coffee, and tea. If they did, then we definitely would have come by. As it is, we ended up meeting at Paris Baguette.

BUT, today i finally took some of my oldest friends to rent a tent and play some games from their vast game library. we had the BEST TIME!!! you begin by selecting the games you want to try first, so you're not paying the hourly rate while you browse your selections - a very nice touch that i absolutely appreciated. their selection of games is plentiful, almost overwhelmingly so! despite this, the games were organized in sections of categories AND alphabetically which was awesome. we are tabletop board game amateurs, so we picked a few that caught our eye, plus a childhood favorite, candyland. we also picked a few fun things from their selection of international snacks for sale. we checked out just for the snacks, and then the kind and courteous employee helped show us to our tent. from there, they time you for your gameplay at just $3 per hour per person. i find this to be an incredible value!!!! especially in the context of other activities, not just in orange county, but in garden walk. it's an unbeatable price for the little private space to enjoy quality time. i can see myself coming back here again and again and again, because of how vast their collection is and how financially accessible it is. a few tiny critiques: i'd love to see a couple of my personal favorite games make their way onto the shelves: Pretty Pretty Princess and Piles! also, i know they're looking to expand into more food and drink than just shelf-stable items, and i cannot wait! i just hope that if and when they do expand in this way, that the gameplay itself stays as affordable. overall, thank you meeples family! i genuinely cannot wait to be back!

I have been going to this Toy Store since they opened almost 15 years ago…read more They have the best selection of toys that you wont find at the big box retailers. They have gifts from $5 to $500 dollars and are able to work with anyone's budget to create a special gift anyone you are shopping for. Did I mention that if you gift is above $10 they will wrap it for FREE!! This to me makes it worth the drive from South Orange County to get birthday or any other holiday gifts well worth my time. The owners Jeanie & Gil have went out of their way to support the community of orange for a long time. They continue to do it with, Book Signing, Pop Up Shops & NOT PRICE GOUGING for the Coveted NEEDOHS & JELLYCATS that everyone wants. Do yourself a favor and visit them soon. You wont be disappointed! With so few…read moreindependent toy stores left, we've always been willing to pay the higher prices instead of buying everything from a big box retailer. Unfortunately, our most recent experience was really disappointing. We purchased several items, including three gifts for the same child, and simply asked if they could be gift wrapped together. Instead of just wrapping the gifts or politely explaining the policy, the employee repeatedly insisted that they charge for gift wrapping on items under $10, even though the three gifts we wanted wrapped together totaled well over $50. In total, we spent close to $200 during our visit. The interaction quickly became argumentative and unnecessarily uncomfortable. The owner was present and ultimately wrapped the gifts herself, but rather than helping de-escalate the situation, she allowed the interaction to continue in an unprofessional manner. To make matters worse, when we got home, we realized we'd been charged twice for one of our purchases. I called to have the extra charge reversed, and while they corrected the mistake, I also shared how disappointed I was with our experience in the store. Instead of receiving a sincere apology, I was met with what felt like a dismissive, backhanded response. Mistakes happen, but it's how they're handled that leaves a lasting impression. We genuinely want to continue supporting local businesses like this one, even if it means paying more than shopping at a big-box store. Unfortunately, after this experience, it's hard to justify returning. I hope this feedback encourages the owners to prioritize customer service, because that's ultimately what keeps loyal customers coming back. *also to add at the end of all of this I realized I had forgotten to get a birthday card so I wanted to grab one after checking out with all of our items and they wouldn't accept card or Apple Pay for a $6 birthday card. I needed to purchase something else to make it a $10 purchase or cash only (who carries or accepts cash anymore?) Like in what world!? Of course they wouldn't make an exception. The icing on the cake of a bad experience! This response is back to the owner- Thank you for taking the time to respond. I understand that small businesses need policies, and my review was never about expecting special treatment or criticizing those policies. My disappointment was with how the situation was handled. At no point was it explained that the $10 minimum applied to each individual item rather than the gifts being wrapped together. That had never been our understanding from previous visits, so the interaction was confusing and quickly became argumentative instead of simply being explained. One of the reasons we've continued to shop at your store, despite paying more than we would elsewhere, is the convenience and service, including gift wrapping. When purchasing multiple gifts for the same child, wrapping only some of them defeats much of that convenience. While you mention they were wrapped as a courtesy, that only happened after an uncomfortable exchange, which is the part that left a lasting impression. I appreciate your apology for the duplicate charge, but when I called, I was hoping for acknowledgment of the overall experience, not just the billing error. My review wasn't about policies, it was about customer service. We genuinely wanted to continue supporting your store, which is why this experience was so disappointing.
