Todd provided fair pricing, was very thorough in his inspection of the condition and what to expect, and fit me into his schedule with short notice. We decided to purchase our own flooring but he also sells direct. We had about 1400 sq ft of laminate plank, 200sq ft for vinyl in bathroom, and new baseboards throughout. Todd and his journeyman were efficient and completed the work on schedule. Some of our flooring pieces did not come in time and he accommodated by coming back a different day to complete everything. While others may have had a more competitive price, you need a quality installer and someone who has a lot of experience. Most others will send someone to bid and a separate crew to do the work, Todd himself did the work and was hands on for our install. He provided advise and answered all our questions along the way. The attention to detail, care, and quality will show for years to come. Highly recommend.

Hired them to repaint the house. While most of the work on the walls was fine, all of the other…read moreproblems make me strongly discourage hiring this company for all but the simplest of jobs. Upon completion of the job I noticed none of the interior doors closed properly. Upon further inspection I discovered that for some reason all of the hinge screws were replaced with random mix and match screws with various head types which made the doors unable to close. I complained and asked that they be replaced with proper hinge screws and they said they would do that. Unfortunately, they instead selected very thick, long screws which were still not hinge screws (see photo comparing hinge screws with what they selected). The doors were usable but still did not operate like they did before. As these screws were very oversized I was forced to remove them all, fill the holes with wooden dowels, and then add in the proper hinge screws. This job was made even worse as the painters for some reason took the doors off the frames but painted the hinges, many of which were brand new and needed to be replaced. They also badly scratched every door knob in the house, which was frustrating since they were replaced just before this project started. Outside of the door issues, they forgot to paint a few areas and got paint on trim in a few places, but I would have probably overlooked this had the doors not created hours of labor and cost me hundreds of dollars in replacement hardware.

IiOn addiyion, I…read morehired Carlos Handyman services for several job such as cutting down and removing 2 huge trees, installing ceiling mounted LED lights plus a wall mounted light, squaring up 5 doorways and doors so they could close properly, fixing an irrigation leak and outdoor faucet problem, trimming a palm tree with a chain saw, and even moving a 900lb. fountain from the front yard to the back yard. I hired many handyman before and Carlos is truly the best. I was nothing but satisfied with the entire processes from begging to end. It is very rare to see a crew so professional and genuine work on projects these days. In addition, Carlos has an extremely smart crew that can make things work. You should consider yourself lucky if you are able to get them!! ADDITIONAL NOTES: No matter how big or small the job is, Carlos and his team do more than expected. Fixing the doors worked out great! All of the homes built by this one builder in our development had doorways which were not squared so when the doors were added, they did not close properly or lock. When Carlos fixed the doors he made a point to remove the screws that came with the hardware and replaced them with longer screws that would go deeper into the wall frames and add stability when opening and closing the doors over time. When one of Carlos' crew was fixing the irrigation leak we saw the leak had rotted out the wooden square that the deck was mailed to, so the deck sunk down every time you stepped in that spot. Carlos (one of the crew), dug out and replaced the wood which was not part of the quote, but greatly appreciated. When the fountain was moved, it had dirt caked in the bottom and Carlos made the extra effort of cleaning it out so it looks very nice in its new spot. When installing the lights, Carlos used better wire caps than the ones that came with the lights because they had a better grip to prevent the wired from slipping out of the caps. .
