Har gow, xiaolongbao, dan dan noodles
    Minerva H.

We got har gow, xiaolongbao, and dan dan noodles. The ambiance was really nice because of the neon lights/HK cafe aesthetic. The food was hearty; nothing extraordinary. Docked a star because our waiter seemed a little out of it at times, but overall a good experience.

Really fun experience with the family! It's very interesting being in the Asia mall because it gives a food court-ish vibe but you're definitely in your own section of the restaurant! Really expansive menu where everyone can choose a dish, keep in mind that it is definitely family style so the dishes are large and meant to be shared. Our family of three adults and two kids were super full and probably ordered too much but nothing wrong with leftovers!! Of the items we ordered, the kiddos loved the Shrimp dumplings the best, they didn't care for the steam/crispy buns (which are a lot smaller than you would expect!), and enjoyed the beef and broccoli. I personally loved the short ribs, they were so crispy and perfectly salted - highly recommend! Didn't care for the gyoza.. it was super bready and just felt too heavy. Quick tip- you can ask for more rice without being charged. We only got three small bowls of rice for all of us to split amongst us and then we asked for more and they happily gave us a larger bowl to share.

Fantastic food!!! I lived in China for 11 years and my husband is from China and we felt we were back in China. The best dish we got was the definitely the Green Peppercorn Beef!!!

As soon as we got to this restaurant we didn't feel super welcomed. This restaurant has robots delivering food and I love the concept of using the robots it was so fun to see! We ordered lots of things and the things I remember likening were the General Tso, dan dan noodles, egg drop soup, Szechuan wontons, and crab Rangoon. We ordered a few different bobas and loved them all! Unfortunately, the soup dumplings lacked broth and the pork was mushy and pink on the inside making it seem raw, so we ended up not eating most of those. Another not so great thing we tried was the black and gold lava buns. They are known to be a sweet and creamy on the inside bun, but these tasted like it could have been spoiled, we couldn't get past one bite, it tasted very rotten and the center was not creamy. As there were still many good things I still think it is worth checking out but I am not sure I will be sitting down here again.

So many dinner options and since having kids, dinner options has been limited to what my daughter's want for dinner. Dim sum was requested and I remembered that Legendary Spice at Asia Mall offered all day dim sum menu. So we invited my sister and her husband to join us because Asian food is better when shared with families and friends. We got seated right away for dinner around 6:40pm on a Sunday night. We had enough room for my sister to be able to elevate her leg due to an ankle injury. It was nice to be able to review the menu and order at our pleasure on the iPad. We took our time to choose the different dishes. We got ordered beef and broccoli, salted pork spear ribs, beef and onions, Peking style eggplants, buns, shrimp and pork shumai, shrimp dumplings, wonton soup, and fried gyoza. The gyoza had too much dough/wrapper that it was not well liked. The salted pork spare ribs was flavorful, crispy and good with white rice as well as the beef and onions. I like the lettuce and bell peppers that came with the spare ribs. The eggplants was nicely cooked and the sauce was a nice balance with the rice. My daughter did not care for the shrimp and pork shumai and the staff was kind enough to remove it off our bill. The fried plain buns was not well liked and hopefully next we can have all plain steam buns instead of half and half. The wonton soup was so sad because you only get one wonton for $5. Overall, the food was good and pricing can be a little spendy compared to a stand alone restaurant.

Famous Tianjin Crepe with Chinese Pork Sausage

This spot is located on the upper level of Asia Mall, connected to Dim Sum Garden. They provide tablets for both restaurants to order from, then the food is delivered by robots to your table. We chose the Famous Tianjin Crepe with Chinese Pork Sausage and Ran Noodles. I added chili oil to the crepe because it felt a bit one note. The crepe was light but the fried dough inside tasted a bit like old oil. The ran noodles had good flavor but if you are not one for heavy spice, be sure to remove most if not all of the bird's eye chilis. We kept only a few pieces and our tongues were tingly and numb. The space is a bit awkward to navigate but it's worth a try.

Every time we go to Asia Mall, this place is packed, so naturally, we wanted to try it when we visited on a weekday and we could find seating. Very pleased we finally tried it. The menu is expansive, but very easy to follow with pictures and descriptions, and they provide a tablet to order with, so it is very straightforward. Authentic dishes with lots of flavor. Try their variety of steamed and pan-fried buns, the range of noodle options, and their fried rices. I couldn't pick a favorite. A place to visit multiple times to enjoy a unique experience with different dishes every time!

    Soup dumplings

Came here for lunch and tried the spicy fried tofu and soup dumplings. The spicy tofu was delicious. The soup dumpling was okay, just not as flavorful. We were seated pretty quickly but did take some time before food came out. This is conveniently located inside of Asia Mall and can stop by before or after getting groceries, nice to explore other parts of the mall.

This amazing restaurant has been around for many years and has opened additional locations in various places. The food is authentic Sichuan style. Parking is very convenient, but there's a tip you should know. Search for "Wahu parking" and enter the apartment parking space. You can park in any Wahu commercial spots for up to 2 hours for free. My top recommendation is the Legendary Dry Chili Chicken. It's crispy and spicy. You won't be disappointed with any of the Hot & Spicy Pots; we always order the beef one. For first-timers, I recommend the meat combination. There are many noodle options. The flour noodles are consistently excellent, while the rice noodles can be hit or miss. Ran Noodles are my new favorite; I highly recommend the spicy beef noodles--so delicious! Occasionally, the rice noodles may be broken into shorter pieces. The portions are generous. If you have room for an appetizer or dessert, try the Sichuan Wontons and the Rice Cake. You'll love them! The service is always friendly and fast. The owner lady is delightful! The ordering system is the best in town. You simply place your order on an iPad and can add items at any time, in either Chinese or English. Although they've been around for a long time, they recently remodeled. They have brand new seating, decorations, and utensils. So, check out this place soon!

This is an authentic Chinese restaurant where I was able to navigate the menu because they had an awesome digital ordering system with descriptions and photos of many dishes and the waitress was very attentive and recommended several items. You are able to continuously order from the tablet at your table. The dining space had lots of room. The chive dumplings have a very mild flavor and brought a good balance to the meal. The Szechuan wontons were not spicy, but had good flavor throughout. The dry chili chicken was packed with flavor, the meat was very tender, and had the perfect amount of spice, and the portion size was worth the price. This was a great place and I would recommend especially to ones that are not familiar with traditional Chinese cuisine.

This is a form of racism & terrible customer service. I get places have language barriers but they have signs for everything else so really no excuses why many of the staff treated us that way. This behavior also tells me everything I need to know about the food as well.... terrible just like the attitude of the staff.

One of the best things is that you can raise the food from the broth so you don't have to dig for it. We ended up trying almost everything plus some apps (also included). There are some guidelines on the table for how long to cook the food and they are somewhat accurate. Some of the vegetables took longer and some of the meat should have been shorter but we finally caught on. We loved the multitude of mushroom options. And the seafood was very good. The spicy broth is indeed spicy (not MN hot - spicy). We cooked many items in spicy and then mixed that and another broth for our bowls. That worked great. Once seated, your greeted with a tall cold glass of water, a small cup for your complimentary hot tea. The menu is a bit large so I recommend maybe reviewing it prior to sitting or coming in to eat, to help save time and not feel rushed to order. I ordered the lobster sticky rice plate. It's a seasonally priced item on their menu. As of April 5th, the price was around $72.00 for a full lobster. It was steamed I think, then what I find odd but unique is the chef chopped up the lobster while still in it's shell then mixed the sticky rice and scrambled eggs with it, onto a large serving plate. It looks nice and delicious. I thought the lobster would've been de-shelled. So if you don't want to mess with the lobster shell maybe ask if they can exclude it from your dish. Highly recommend eating here, the prices are decent on the regular things and the food tastes awesome!
